The best restaurants in Kirkley Waveney East of England

We walked through initially as a quick way to get to the other side, as we entered there’s lots of seating and an assortment of street food restaurants and a bar, all reasonably priced. The toilets were all clean, fresh and well stocked.

I have just had the most wonderful meal for one of balti chicken with a tandoori chicken starter. Also included was a poppadom, small salad, side dish, and a canned drink. I added mint sauce and plain naan to my meal and have enjoyed an absolute feast with such generous portions there is plenty left for tomorrow. Thank you so much for such beautiful food . See you again. 🙏

great food ， definitely will order again. Recommend chicken fried rice and BBQ RIBS.

Good for the price point. Cheaper option on the seafront. Staff were friendly, we had donuts and ot drinks. Everything made fresh to order.

Absolutely wonderful food and wonderful attentive staff. We had lamb shanks with potatoes and vegetables- all cooked to perfection. Followed by apple pie and custard- yum Could not fault this meal and will be back. Was very disappointed to read negative reviews and so pleased that it’s still one of the best restaurants in Lowestoft.

Stopped here for lunch on a blustery winter day. Despite the weather, it was still pretty busy inside. I had a bacon and brie sandwich with some chips and it was all pretty tasty, apart from the bread being slightly stale. I had been on a previous time for a sandwich and the bread was much fresher. Overall, I didn't think it was amazing but it was of reasonable quality for a beach side cafe and I would visit again, especially in the summer when their outdoor seating is available. Staff were friendly.

Went for Christmas Dinner and dancing the meal was the worst that any of us had ever had the roast potatoes were so bad that you could not get a knife into them all dried up as was some of the veg .music was so loud we had to leave early

Used these many times, very tasty and well priced, never had a bad meal yet ,friendly staff and owners , so lucky to have this on my doorstep

Food was ok but missed half of the order

I ordered a cheeseburger, curly chips and medium ribs. The burger was OK, the curly chips were meh but the the ribs were the worst ribs I've ever had. I'm not even 100% sure they were pork or beef. They were as chewy as rubber, dry and tasted disgusting. I couldn't even finish them. I will never order from them again. To make it worse, I found out that their food hygiene rating is 2! That's insane. Stay away

Terrible don't have the pulled pork was very ill two hours after and still weak must have been full of bacteria ruin our holiday been on toilet for 3 days and very weak should have the environment people go in and check the food preparation area check throughly

6 of us dropped in for a drink after the cinema at 22.05 today . Totally deserted except for one customer at the bar. Waited over 5 minutes before the customer offered to find the bar staff. Empty glasses on bar and tables so obviously work to do but no staff. Young lady eventually appeared and promptly said we've finished serving. No apology. I am amazed bars can afford to turn away 6 customers let alone without an apology. Also strange on 2nd July to read Christmas menus displayed around the walls. No idea if these are very early for this year or left up from last year? I've worked in hospitality much of my life and the golden rule is 'never turn away a paying customer' Unfortunately a no stars review wasn't an option. Very disappointing.

we ordered from here on deliveroo as we’re staying nearby in a caravan park. it said 30 minute wait time- we 2 hours and no food came. called multiple times and they just said it will be a couple minutes. ended up going via deliveroo live chat and getting a refund as the driver couldn’t find us, the pizzeria didn’t call us or let us know that the driver couldn’t be bothered to properly look for our caravan and left with our food. so disappointing and absolutely crap customer service. they told us they don’t deliver to our area although they have our area available on deliveroo ??

Lovely service! And great food, drinks were great, speedy and friendly service. Dinner was perfect and enjoyed a lot, would most definitely come again.

Price has gone up.Quality gone down.Will not use again.
