The Spring Tide in Waveney

Great Sunday lunch here! We all picked from different parts of the menu and each was fantastic. Clean facilities and friendly staff. We parked here then walked off our dinner with a quick stroll to the beach

This is one of the best restaurants I've ever been to, I would now consider myself a regular having been many times for friends bdays, work leaving do's, girly nights out, family/friends get together. Each time myself and my group have chosen from the menu trying a variety of foods springtide are very careful about allergies 😋 are always happy to make adjustments to any meal ordered, adding, removing or replacing something of choice so each meal prepared is done to the customers liking and yet always get everyone's meal out at the same time. The food is always tasty, my eggs are nice and white, thankyou to the cooks/chefs behind the scenes doing a great job.The restaurant is always clean and tidy, the staff are always friendly, helpful and professional the service is and always has been 5*****, i can even reserve a table online. Well done to everyone at springtide, my favourite place to eat, until next time keep up the great work 👍 😀 👏 😊

We haven't been for 18 months. Always enjoyed it here until we had a God awful meal. Something synthetic was in the meal and it left an awful taste in our mouths for hours and made us retch, we suspect melted plastic? So we stayed away for some considerable time. This time though the service and the food was good. We enjoyed ourselves. The only complaint is the deserts are pretty naff and don't match the rest of the menu. The deserts are the kind of things the waiter/ress can prepare and not the chef - so crap basically. At £6 a pop they aren't worth it. Drive a couple of minutes to the seafront, 30 mins free parking and got ourselves a couple of whippy ice creams for a fiver. More effort on the desert front. Something cooked by a chef and not microwaved by a waiter/ress would be appreciated. But head over and get yourself an half-decent main course.

We had a wonderful meal, the food was delicious and the service was fantastic, our server a lady called Jenny, recognised us from a previous visit some time ago, was really surprised as she even remembered our food allergies…now THAT IS Impressive. She was so smiley and welcoming and no request seems as though it’s too much for her, I would definitely recommend the food and I’d always ask to be served by this lady if she’s about and we visit again.

I booked a table two weeks ago, in fact you sent reminders and a are you still coming yes or no text only a couple of days ago. On arrival 15 minutes early , I was told that there was no table, and there wouldn't be for at least an hour, my daughter warned me that there are loads of bad stories re your service. It happened a few Christmas ago to me when again you had too many customers and I had people waiting for a table sitting down on my table when we was eating. Well done you ruined our wedding anniversary, we had to drive some where else, as I suffer from Parkinson's we couldn't wait for over an hour. Fabulous Wednesday quiz night with quizmaster Jan giving his usual five star performance. It is always such a delight to attend this quiz and Jan makes it a night to enjoy. Food and staff are great too. Long may you reign King Quizmaster Jan with his lovely ‘Play Your Cards Right’ assistant Anita😘

Had a good meal which was cooked to perfection. Although a busy lunchtime, we didn't have to wait long and nicely presented.

The Spring Tide has never let us down and tonight was no exception. My only down side is that they have taken the waffle dessert off the menu. Please bring it back....😊

We are regulars there and always recommend to friends and take others there. Today served by Jenny. She is always cheerful and knows our drinks and my allergies. Brilliant service as usual. Always pleasant and no matter how busy she is always smiley and we never feel rushed. We always take our little dog and joke that he gets his water before our drinks.

Had a serlion steak today ,what a meal, Jenny could not do enough to make our visit great ,she is a credit to the springtide, we will be back

I came in for a family meal and we had dishes from steak to curry to fish. They were all delicious. Our waitress was welcoming and pleasant. She was very hardworking. Definitely 5 ⭐️

Overall experience was great! Friendly team of people from arrival to payment. The food was perfectly cooked (5 empty plates) and that almost never happens. Will 100% be visiting again in the future :-)
