Iconic in Waveney

We gave Iconic a try when staying in near-by Corton whilst visiting family in the area, and we thought the place was fantastic. Great interior, very friendly staff and service speed was on point. The starters were huge and almost filled us even before the gorgeous mains arrived (chicken goujons and prawns)! We had the steak and chicken tikka curry as our mains and both dishes were delicious. Very pleased and would return when in the area again!

Another fantastic meal at Iconic tonight! Never had a bad meal from here, and the staff and service are excellent. Looking forward to our next visit already!

Food was quite tasty I had the salmon we also had the chicken curry and prawn salad which was not very appetizing Instead of sweet two of us ordered a Tia Maria liquer coffee when it was served up it looked quite insipid but we gave them the benefit of dought and when we tasted it I'm affraid we could not taste either the coffee or the liquer. we complained to the staff who suggested we were trying to get a freeby but nothing could be further from the truth. We stated perhaps the staff needed more training with regards the making of speciality drinks

Very very frustratingly disappointing :: have been to Iconic many times over the last few years and have enjoyed their meals .:. Unfortunately my wife is now in a wheelchair but we still like eating out so we booked a table and I made it clear that we needed a table suitable for her wheelchair to which the staff member said no problem … when I arrived she pointed me to the reserved table when I said how do we enter the building ie ramp or other means she sheepishly said there is no such thing to accommodate her :.. I was flabbergasted as we have been on boats and eaten at many other establishments that brought out temporary ramps or other means to gain access and have bent over backwards to help unfortunately this did not happen at Iconic … the staff member to her credit did apologize . On their website there is no mention of the lack of wheelchair inside access:: my poor wife was left outside looking at the customers enjoying their meals only to be turned away which was so humiliating for her something she doesn’t deserve as she’s been through a very rough time recently

Great once again, always visit here after shopping in Lowestoft. Well worth a visit. Will be back again when in the area.

Very rarely do I visit any restaurant without having seen the customer reviews beforehand. That was the case here, when our party of four dropped in on the off chance. It was just after 8pm and we came across this venue on our walk near the harbour. The initial signs did not bode well. On arrival we were told that we had only about fifteen minutes to order as the kitchen was due to close. We should have taken that as fair warning of how the rest of the experience was going to go. On being seated we were told that if we wanted starters we would have to order everything to arrive together - again for the convenience of the kitchen - so it all felt a bit rushed and this impacted our entire experience. All this might have been somewhat ameliorated had the food been good - but it wasn't. I don't have particularly high expectations of such venues, but the rest of my party felt the same. The food was distinctly lacklustre and definitely not noteworthy in any way. I am renowned for not leaving anything on my plate, but in this case I just couldn't finish it, although not from lack of perseverance. The steak in my surf & turf was simply inedible - so tough I couldn't even cut it, yet alone chew on it. Absolutely awful. Other meals consisted of ribs that were drowning in barbecue sauce, soggy onion rings, and undercooked chips. Mysteriously, every meal is served with a small cup of prawns in marie rose sauce, and I can only speculate as to why there are strawberries in the salad (see pictures). The decor and lighting in the dining room is interesting, with a kind of neon, almost nightclub-type feel to it. There is also Damien Hirst artwork on the walls, which adds an element of sophistication to the place. But, as a former hospitality manager myself, I know that procedure should never supersede the customer's requirements. The customer should never feel as though they are being an inconvenience, so when the experience doesn't match the environment it all feels somewhat redundant. On the plus side, the customer service was very good. I suspect the staff are used to dealing with disgruntled guests. It is also notable that this venue does not cynically add the usual 'discretionary' service charge to the bill, which is always refreshing, but we left a large gratuity anyway. Our server Talula was very friendly and courteous and was probably the only positive of the entire evening.

We made a return visit to this lovely restaurant the service food and ambiance is second to none at a very reasonable price perfect for a special occasion menu is varied our waitress Sophy was lovely friendly and attentive without being intrusive Same applies to our lovely wine waitress Tallula It was my birthday treat and what a treat is was I’m looking forward to our next visit I would recommend booking as it is really popular if you go here you’ll see why

Great food , great service and very well priced . Had the mini mixed grill everything cooked perfectly my partner had the gammon again was fantastic and my son had the classic burger which was so so good thoroughly recommend

Fabulous place to have lunch. We were on a coach trip. Extremely good value for money, staff very friendly and welcoming. We had 2 mains, I dessert to share, (being so full from mains), A glass of wine and a soft drink and the total for us both was well under £30. Couldn't fault it. But do book as they get busy. We only booked by chance but was pleased we did as others were turned away.

Called in at Iconic at the spur of the moment, the service was good and the food was plenty. Both my wife and I ordered the Ribs meal, when it came it was huge (probably 12 ribs) with chips and coleslaw.

Visit this place every time we go to Lowestoft. Great restaurant, fantastic decor, layout & atmosphere. Staff are always so helpful. Food is always amazing, & prices are great value. We had scampi & chips, fish & chips & sirloin steak & chips. All 3 dishes were amazing. Puddings, we had apple pie & custard, chocolate brownie & ice cream. Big portion sizes. Highly recommend & will visit again.

We were a group of five. Shown to our seats and given menus. Waited ten minutes for service to order drinks. We then ordered meals. We waited 45 minutes got food which was very disappointing. The chips were lukewarm and dry. Two people had gammon which was tough. One person had salmon which was a very small portion. Will not be returning. It has gone down considerably in value.

Rushed from entry , dispute being g absolutely empty Rushed to order and imagine our dismay when staff confused us and dismissed our choice when ordering by trying to sway us away from a deal on offer Customers at 2 other tables near us joined and they were treated differently for we can only guess was being locals and having no accent Lived in London 17 years and never have we ever been treated this badly If both my husband and I can be in high managerial position it will only imply that our English is up to standard however, it is not up to local standard It put such a dump on our short gateway

Food was excellent. Service likewise excellent. Good value for money. The experience was marred by the antisocial raucous and unruly behaviour of a group at the adjoining table. No attempt was made to ask them to tone it down. It was my first visit to the Iconic and I was struggling to make myself heard above the noise. I will be going again, as the food and service were first class. I just hope my first experience is not going to set the standard.

Went for a date night our first in months and have heard great things about iconic. However the experience we had did not measure up to it. We ordered all you can eat ribs and we only saw our server 2 times, once for starters and drinks the other to have mains served. We waited 40/50 minutes for her to ask how our food was or just ask for top up drinks but nothing. She avoided us. I understand its close to kitchen closing time but we were told that we could get another round of ribs before the kitchen closed. After 40/50 mins we were waiting we kept trying to get her attention and she'd look at us and walk the otherway. As soon as we got our coats on she scurried into the back room to grab the cleaning bits and waited for us to get to the bar to come out. Maybe they're understaffed, maybe she's just inexperienced or just completely lacks any sort of customer service.. either way it was certainly annoying. At least at spoons the foods cheap enough to warrant the lack of attention from team and even then there's more checks.

Food, drink and service was absolutely first class. The decor is outstanding and the customers toilets is an experience of its own. I recommend everybody to visit this restaurant and I am looking forward to returning again very soon

Birthday party with friends turned out to be a great night for service, food and drinks. Preordered our meal and other than several of us had to send our meals back to kitchen as jacket potato, ribeye, onion rings were tepid not hot, everything was fine. The restaurant was packed tonight so it was expected something would go amiss. Always visit at lunch times normally. Well done chef and staff on getting it right 99.9 percent of the time. Staff member, Rivern, gave excellent, efficient service. See you all again soon.

We had dinner there tonight. £30 for 2 steak meals plus a bottle of wine. Meal was 1st class and the staff, as usual, were very attentive, but nicely so

Have been meaning to go for while, so tonight we (wife and myself) paid them a visit. initial impression were very favourable. Entrance and decor very inviting and met immediately by a smiling and immaculately presented waitress. The place was not busy so we had a choice of seating. After a couple of minutes the waitress came over and took our drinks order. A little light on the choice of draft beer, but it was OK. The wife's Pink Gin and lemonade was superb, laden with fruit (blueberry and strawberry) and tasted as though there was actually some Gin in the makeup. Food was ordered, ribeye and a large mixed grill. It arrived rather quickly and was extremely impressive to see. It tasted even better. The stake was cooked as required, quantities were more than ample, the only thing left on my plate were the bones of the rack of spare ribs that proved too hard to tackle. The whole place was spotlessly clean. Waitresses were very attentive, but not intrusive. A brilliant place for a good meal in admirable surrounding and lovely staff. An adverse comment. The beer (ale) was a little hoppie and a little too warm. Will definitely return and this time take some cash to tip the waitresses, they deserve it.

I had a previous great experience at Iconic a couple of years ago. Having come back to Lowestoft I was looking forward to booking in again. Popped in today to book a table for two days time. We could only get seated at one of the high tables which was not suitable for us due to disabilities and there was no availability on the standard height tables. Whilst the woman did take a very good look at the bookings I came away being unable to take my family there simply because we’d need an accessible (standard) height table and no concerted effort was made to accommodate. We’d have been able to book if we could have sat at one of the higher tables. Perhaps the restaurant should re-evaluate its policies in relation to disability discrimination and train staff to recognise when this is indirectly happening to customers. I am gutted as I loved the food and the service we had there before. We were looking forward to eating there during our stay but sadly we can’t.

Came here today with my dad. We went for the 2 courses for £8.95. My dad had the Gammon for mains and the creme brule for dessert, I had the chilli non carne and strawberry cheesecake waffle, I think that's what it was called on the menu! Cannot fault the food whatsoever! It was delicious! We have been here a couple of times and each time we come the food and customer service is excellent. Special shout out to the barman who did the shamrocks on my dad's Guinness! We were very impressed!

Trying so hard to be cool that it's forgotten the basics, ie customer service. I stood like a lemon waiting to be seated and was not even acknowledged. Had to ask for cutlery for both starter and main course. Was uncomfortable using the toilets as there is no privacy. Also hand dryer not working and no paper towels. At the end of the meal I struggled to get the bill as member of staff was too busy on her phone. I got up to get someone's attention only to be told to sit down. And the so called fresh food locally caught needs to be investigated by trading standards. The seafood platter i had seemed to have been locally sourced from the frozen aisle at the local supermarket.

We were staying in Great Yarmouth and drove to Lowestoft and came across this little gem. Staff were very polite and nice. Food was so good we went back the next evening. The two steaks and bottle of wine for £19.99 was so good. If staying near Lowestoft it’s well worth the drive. When we come back this way we would definitely visit Iconic again.

Had a fabulous meal. 2 steak meals and a bottle of wine for £19.95. The meal and wine were of good quality and enjoyed by all. Staff were attentive and friendly, whilst practising social distancing. Food and ambiance amazing would definitely recommend and will return.

Sat inside and felt safe as it wasn't busy . We both had jacket potatoes and they were massive , lots of side salad with it . We were looked after very well , we moved outside to finish our drinks . The restaurant is very stylish and clean .

Last night myself and three friends booked a table at an 'Iconic' restaurant! Not an entertaining bonanza; but more of a circus. Firstly, we were 'greeted' with an expectant bar tender, moving his head in the direction that our table was; and expecting us to find our way there. We sat at the empty table with ripped table mats...Drinks were ordered; and in all fairness, branded and bottled sparkling water for myself was faultless. We decided to order classic bar meals; being burgers and scampi meals...After 45 minutes have passed; i received a 2 minute microwave blitzed plate of soggy, greasy chips, barbie ( plastic not BBQ) burgers and fat ridden onion rings.Needless to say we were quite disappointed and will not be returning. It's a lovely place for pictures and is a lovely bar. But I would not at all rave about the food.

Sorry but don’t feel this place is Covid safe as tables they use tonight was too closely together, food was good, and service was good but will not be going their again until they sort this out, this was a anniversary meal and was disappointed not feeling safe

While the food and value are as good as ever the tables are far too close together and we did not feel at all comfortable in this setting. We will be asking environmental health to check this out, but at the moment We would not recommend using this restaurant

Booked in for an evening meal. We went early evening. Socially distancing with tables we’ll apart, no problem. Drinks ordered and promptly served, meal orders taken, delivered to the table piping hot. My wife ordered a starter plus baked potato as a main, sorted no problem. I had chicken curry which was served with naan and poppadom. Waitress very attentive and pleasant.The restaurant wasn’t overly busy so service was good.

Ordered the surf and turf,with an upgrade to Sirloin steak. The meal looked impressive, sadly the steak was slightly overcooked but worst of all was so tough it was inedible. Explained to the waitress and Requested to see the manager, the manager was not in,so asked to see supervisor, the worst part was the supervisor could not even be bothered to make an appearance,very poor customer service! They did in their defence offer to replace the steak but by then my partner was 3/4 of the way through her meal, they did discount the meal,which was something, but severely disappointed with the lack of customer service from the supervisor.

We had a very tasty meal out at Iconic. We were pleasantly surprised by how good value the meals were. The menu although reduced had a good choice. My steak was delicious with a jacket potato and salad. We loved the hand cut chips. The food has certainly improved. The staff were attentive and friendly. The tables were spaced out well and the children loved the modern lighting and decoration.

Absolutely stunning location and building!!! Food is so plentiful and tasty. Superb value for money.

Surprised grandson for his 21st very good meal social distance well observed although a reduced menu still plenty to choose from we took a cake which they brought out too him and we put balloon on his chair our waiter Chris was very attentive couldn't do enough for us

This is s stunningly modern restaurant which would not be out of place in trendy London areas. The staff were very friendly and attentive. but the menu prices...well...I thought there is either a typo OR the portions will be tiny. Wrong on both counts. we had the ribs which amounted to one an half racks each...very tasty and the sides were also very good...plus a glass of house wine and a pint of Guinness....£11.95 each !! Shame I live so far away

Great food. The ribs were amazing at a really good price, my colleague had the ultimate surf and turf that was incredible. Prices were reasonable and the food service in a challenging time.

Our first visit since Lockdown etc. and it was well worth the wait!!I've literally dreamt of Scampi and Chips at Iconic for months and they certainly didn't disappoint!We took advantage of the "Eat out to Help out" scheme and were both pleased to see that portion sizes hadn't been reduced.The Scampi was exquisite as was the Surf n Turf!!Service, as always, could not be faulted!Great to be back and well done guys!

Tried for a meal hear on Thursday and rudely told at 6 pm not serving children's meals so left, Group of 3 adults and 1 child prepared to eat outside as such a lovely early evening. Shame as went Friday evening meal for 2 Stake deal beautiful helpful polite staff fantastic food could not fault it. Then Saturday went again forgot to book No availability even if we were prepared to sit outside young male staff member very of hand so much so that he was walking away as he said no tables free.

We were in Lowestoft for a week away and visited Iconic. I am so glad we did! The food was incredible, the staff were super friendly and helpful. We loved it, so much so we went back a second time! I will warn you if you have the mixed grill, it's HUGE!!! The prices are extremely reasonable too for the portion sizes. We had an amazing experience again and will definitely go back.

Our waitress was lovely. The food was fresh, well presented and tasty. However the portions were so generous that we were not able to finish the meals. We asked to have the left overs packaged up for us to take home.The waitress said it was not a problem and took the plates one at a time to the kitchen. Having been brought a foil package we waited for the remaining packages.Nothing arrived and when we asked the waitress she said it had been put all in one pile and not in three separate packages. Not at all appetising and rather disappointing after such a lovely meal and service.

Please don’t arrive without booking.We tried after having atrocious service at another well known Hotel in this town.Although this. Restaurant was 2/3 empty, we were informed that they were too busy to receive us.Our Government is trying to assist Restaurants at this difficult time, but this Restaurant is either too arrogant or lazy to consider its long term future.Give your custom to a place which deserves to survive..

As soon as we arrived staff from start to finish was assertive, welcoming, friendly and very hard working a asset to the person who owns iconic. The decor is funky. Fabulous sea front position. Food the die for plentiful and delicious. Reasonable priced to. Would definitely recommend. Will return on our next stay. Thanks again x

The road and entrance outside is covered in adverts for their deals. After sitting inside and ordering drinks, we try to order those deals only to be told none of them are running. The signs outside would have been easily removable ‘sandwich boards’ which I even offered to move for them, but they were not interested in the rules of false advertising. Food was mostly good, and reasonable portions, but the misleading advertising and the flippancy when asked about this was not acceptable. Reported to ASA.

We were going to watch a film over at the Cinema, we came here for some food & some drinks beforehand. We didn’t have a booking but managed to get a table. But it was very busy.We ordered some snacky food, service was quick, pricing is very good. Handy location too.

First time here even though I’ve passed it many a time , had the specials , was pleasantly surprised with the quality & quantity, very well presented , extremely helpful friendly staff. Will be returning

The food here is astonishingly good value, and the staff all smart, friendly and helpful. Portion size a bit too big, if anything - neither of us managed to eat everything on our plate. My hubby's haddock and chips was lovely, and I enjoyed my lamb shank too. However, there were a few little things that let the place down. We had to ask for clean forks as ours were dirty, and my new potatoes obviously hadn't been scrubbed in the kitchen - one had sprouted and been cooked sprouts and all and one still had soil on it. The toilet in the ladies was dirty and the soap and hand towel dispensers were empty. Having said all that, we would give them another chance.

Clean, tidy, professional, relaxing, we went in without reservations, we were a family of 11. The colour changing backdrop kept the children entertained all night. The meal and drinks were reasonably priced, we expected to pay plenty more looking at the place, but like I said meals all delivered hot, and in a reasonable time frame, along with the price it was a lovely evening. Found hair in food and young waiter kept touching his groin when reported to supervisor her response was it’s hot in here bearing in mind stormDennis was blowing a gale and we are in winter season. Disgusting service. Young waiter repeatedly touching his groin and then handing you the knife end. Do not go. She did not even care

Popped in before going to the Marina Theatre for a quick meal. The staff were very helpful, good food, good service! A very pleasant experience.

We stayed at a local B&B - Britten House who recommended to come here for a meal - and so we did...We arrived earlier than they served food, we came at 4.30pm and was told they didn't serve until 5.30pm, but we were happy to stay for a few drinks before ordering.The surroundings are absolutely lovely, we really enjoyed the lively and bright decor.The food was lovely too, my only suggestion there would be to improve the chicken wings on the meat sharing plata as the skin was a bit too soft and squidgy really - could do with being cooked so they are crisps. However, only a minor point I hope the feedback is helpful.We had the gourmet burgers for main - absolutely lovely, was great value for money considering we got a free drink which included a G&T. Ordered house wine, and was lovely, considering many places have not so nice wine as the house option.Didn't feel rushed one bit, was great time.Finally, we would like to say how lovely and friendly the staff are - very accomodating and smiled a lot, you could tell they seemed genuinely happy to work there.Overall, a 5/5, great value and service, and surroundings.If I am down again with work, I will definitely come again.

Had a lovely meal we opted for the special deal had seafood coctail starter then Gannon followed by Eaton mess desert Me so was very good for price presented nicely staff friendly nice clean place would reccommend highly

We have been regulars for ‘tea’ meals for a long time. The food is mass catered food, not fine dining, and is priced accordingly.As we had a fancy for a basic roast, me and my hubby opted for the Xmas dinner.The waitresses here are always very polite and the food normally comes quite speedily. What we got was a basic, no frills roast. For the money it was decent, plenty of veg, yorkshire puds that were neither rock hard nor soggy.So, for a limited budget meal, that is reliable, plentiful and basic, you cant go wrong. But if you are wanting a really special treat...this may not be the place.I base my awards on what I got for the money...so a 4 star here isnt the same as a four star at a more upmarket establishment. What i am saying is for the money, this is 4 star.

We ate in here today 29th Dec decor was modern and stylish with bubble wall displays and ambient funky lighting. Staff were attentive and friendly, giving expert knowledge on the steaks. My mum (77) had lamb shank, my wife the sirloin, and I had the Suffolk grill. I’m a big eater, but wow, the grill was amazing. Steak cooked to perfection, lamb, chicken, gammon, pork, two huge sausages, mushroom, vine tomatoes, then an inclusive drink and three free sides for less than fifteen. My wife and mum were the same, food perfect and large portions. Staff checked all was okay, and always smiling and friendly. Very highly recommend. And lastly the toilets, you have got to see - mirrors, lights, colour changing urinals.

A party of nine of us pre ordered from the Christmas menu. We arrived to a prettily decorated table with a very pleasant young man to serve us. Our drinks orders were taken and served quickly The meals were piping hot, tasty and generous. The service was excellent, the atmosphere was relaxed and the food was delicious. Probably one of the tastiest Xmas meals I have had in a restaurant and at a very reasonable price too. The other meals being served from the main menu also looked very appetising and well presented.

We booked a few weeks ago and went along for our meal. We were shown to our table which was the one we asked for. We choose when we booked and ordered drinks they arrived without any delay. The main course arrived soon after.

We had 3 course lunch, when we saw the prices what else could we do? The food was well cooked and tasty, although the main could have done with a few less onion rings! Service was fast and efficient and the staff polite and helpful.

Brilliant meal with a great atmosphere. Food good value and great portion size. Nice getting a free drink with some meal. We will return.

This restaurant takes some hearing if you want good value and nice location. Have never been disappointed with any meal and steaks are always good and tasty.

This is a lovely restaurant and feels very upper market but without the extravagant price tag. My only criticism is the very unusual mix of fruit they seem to enjoy putting on top of savoury salad! But this is a lovely place with very tasty food.

Great venue for a date night with the cinema close by. Went for food and drinks at Iconic before the cinema on a Saturday evening. Make sure you book on the weekend as it fills up quickly.

Book your table to ensure seating a sthis place is popular. The food was tasty and served by pleasant professional staff. The decor is very uplifting and modern. the food choices are great. It was a good eating experience.

Came in last night, last minute and were accommodated even though they were clearly busy. The food and service was exceptional and we had such an amazing night. We had the two steaks for £20 with a bottle of wine and being honest I was incredibly sceptical....the steaks arrived and we were not disappointed! We have our steaks still mooing and considering it was rump youd expect it to be fatty right?....wrong! there were no fatty fibres it was cooked perfectly to our liking and it tasted amazing! If anyone says this place isnt for children? It means their children are unable to sit appropriately at a table because little reign was catered for impeccably, he loved his dinner and his bowl of ice cream! The staff were just amazing and couldn't do enough for us!This is our first time eating at iconic and we will definitely be back again! Good work iconic, you're smashing it!

If your looking for excellent value, friendly service and great food then look no further. Obviously tough competing with big guys but this place has nailed that. Many dishes include a drink as well. Been three times this year and would be our number one choice every time.

We found ourselves in Lowestoft and lunchtime and a lady in a shop recommended Iconic. Sounded great and the menu didn't look too bad so we went in. The staff were amicable enough and 'although we waited by the sign to be seated as requested, we were told to go and sit where we wanted. A waitress arrived pretty quickly and we gave our order. I ordered the jacket potato with 5 bean chilli (vegetarian) and my husband went for hame, egg, and chips. I have to say my meal was very tasty - and so hot I burnt my mouth!! However, hubby's meal was a disappointment. He said he could smell the chip fat as the plate was put in front of him. There was plenty of fresh ham, the egg was well cooked but the chips were not good - that fat issue - and the onion rings (obviously frozen and bog standard breadcrumbed rings - were soggy. It doesn't take much to cook frozen onion rings. When I went to the ladies, I could not get the hand dryer to work and there were no paper towels in the dispenser so I went into the gents (it was empty) and used the hand dryer in there. I went to the bar and reported it to the young girl who told me that "it's a bit tricky that dryer. You have to hold your hands really close and curl your fingers up around the back of it to get it to work - it does sometimes" I told her that I'd tried and held my hands everywhere underneath it but it didn't work so maybe, as they know it's a problem, then they should get it fixed or replaced. Her reply was that she was only a waitress. True enough, Next time I'll report a problem to the plumber!!!.

Booked a table for four of us. When we arrived the lady at the bar just pointed to where our table was.

Food great,freshly cooked service good but a bit slow (bank hol) Actually thought we had been under charged! 2 ciders,2 meals,2 deserts......under 25 quid!

Popped in one evening for a meal. Food was good but the place was quiet surprisingly. I'd imagine at a weekend it would be very busy and comes across as a bit of a cocktail type bar too

So upon coming out to have a family meal tonight we came in to iconic and asked for a table the waitress just said yes over there and pointed to a table never took us or even showed us what one to sit at. When ask her to show us she was rude.

With its bright red lights outside Iconic certainly stands out in the area. It provided good tasty food for a very reasonable price.

This is a lovely trendy place staff friendly but the food was just ok we found there was not much taste to it one of us had the pie 2 of us had the steak and one had Sunday roast and we all said the same same really because it's a lovely place.

Had a meal there yesterday tea time, it was amazing! Steak was delicious, amazing homemade chips, lovely salad with fruit in it, homemade coleslaw, mushroom, onion rings, grilled cherry tomatoes on the vine. and gherkin garnish. Service was fast, even though it was busy. We were served by a lovely, helpful waitress called Talula who was a ray of sunshine.Both steak meals and a bottle of wine was £20 between 5pm to 7pm. Would highly recommend.

Lovely clean restaurant, very friendly staff. Food delivered to table on time and good time space between courses. Definitely recommend

We came for lunch as we hadn’t been for ages. I had the gourmet burger with fries and onion rings (which were nice but too oily). The food is what you pay for and the free drink is always great.

Visited on a Friday night was very busy therefore service was a little slow - food was good would recommend

Had a pre booked eveing for ten. Food preordered prior to the night which came quite quickly after we sat down. Found it a little cramped and noisy. Food for what it was was OK. Do not expect fine dining, you get what you pay for.

Recently had a meal at iconic after a long break from visiting. The food was very good and the quantity was large. Felt a little rushed as our table was booked for 6:30 and we left at 7:15. Maybe the service was super fast and efficient but we just placed our cutlery down and the plates were whisked away so didn't have time to relax. Also were seated next to a large table of very loud party people and we couldn't hear each other to talk so another reason not to stay long.

It is situated in a nice area - just across from the seafront which is lovely but the food is just average. Could also do with a refurb / new carpets etc.

We are astonished that this restaurant is not in the top ten in Lowestoft!

i am disabled and had difficulty accessing the restaurant from the front, steps up but no handrails.also no accessible toilets on the ground floor all down stairs.

Very efficient staff, great cooks serving hot food. The quality of the steaks was a little poor, but quite acceptable within their prices. Busy, noisy, and right on the sea-front. Would I eat here again? Yes- absolutely, but I'd be more adventurous with my food choice.

Classy-looking restaurant with superb food & very reasonable prices. Staff were helpful & pleasant,...even when they were very busy.

We visited 10 months ago and were so impressed with service and quality of food we vowed to return. This we have now done nothing has changed and reasonably prices

Excellent meal and service. Very competetive prices as well. Waitress Talula was a star, as were all the staff. Would strongly recommend this venue.

We both had the surf and turf - the steaks were cooked how we asked and were very tasty. You get a choice of three sides to go with it and then a drink is included. We had a gin and tonic after the meal as our included drink - thank you very much! Wine was resonably priced too. Staff very friendly and helpful. Service quick.

Went with family for a meal. Excellent food and service. Good choice on mains menu.

This is what I call "Upper class, cheap eats". The place has a great feel to it, with its great lighting and bubbles ha ha. The food is always good and plenty of it and staff always happy to help.
