We were excited to try an Indian gastropub having visited when the place was Bodegas before. As soon as we entered we felt an opposite atmosphere to Bodegas with the restaurant feeling and looking very dull and gloomy and slightly run down. This wasn’t helped by some tacky fluorescent lighting and loud random music from a tv music which made it feel as if we were in a sports bar. It seems as if the atmosphere and branding needs investment and help from a consultant. They should also look for inspiration from other Indian gastropubs for decor/atmosphere. It’s a shame as the place has potential and the food and drink wasn’t bad at all. The place could also do more promotion from a social media and online perspective as many aren’t aware of the place. I’d like to give the place another chance but think the atmosphere and vibe needs improvement.
I’m providing this feedback as I want the restaurant to survive and hope the owners do take note. I honestly believe investing in the decor and atmosphere instead of the current mismatch will help to attract people in.
First visit to this restaurant this evening after recommendation from a family member.
Lovely welcome from the manageress who explained the different dishes and how spicy they might be!
We all had lamb dishes were delicious and melt in the mouth!
We also had various starters which we shared and they were all very good!
Will definitely go back!
It was very quiet, I only hope this was because it was a Sunday evening and that the place gets more customers!
I cannot begin to tell you the issues I have had with this restaurant. The service was so slow. The food was awful. Some food was indelible and some didn’t even arrive to the table. The live music did not show up at all. I have been trying to get a response for 4 weeks to no avail. I would urge you not to book here. Still awaiting a call back and now their number is not working. Disappointed even doesn’t come close. Shame as the service from Julie up to the night I couldn’t fault.
Came on Easter Sunday Susanna was so lovely and Staff are helpful very quick service Bonnie is so helpful and kind thank you love this place the tacos are amazing

Fish was okay; batter was soggy at best. The chips weren’t much better, but at least the portion sizes were large, even with a ‘small’ order.
Speed of service was good though.
Great little pub for a drink. Away from the high street pubs, which we prefer. Very nice staff. A really relaxed feeling. The man behind the bar, I think he was called Pete, made us feel like locals.
Gave me and my family food poisoning! Horrible service and food. For £31 I got 2 shockingly tiny medium pizzas, and the pizzas was severely undercooked. When I called the restaurant they said they were “too busy” to drop off another pizza and didn’t give me a refund. Waste of money and rude service. I would believe other bad reviews and not order from here.

The Florist looks nice, wonderful decor, good location but the cleanliness is left to be desired, food crumbs everywhere on the couch, sticky table, smudge/ dirty glasses, toilet smelled like it hasn't been cleaned in days.
Service was decent, the food mediocre, cooked well but tastes more like a fast food place than a restaurant.
A bit disappointing, I was expecting more, except for a short photo shoot of the decor there is little value/ reason to stay around.
