Marcel's Watford in Watford

I cannot begin to tell you the issues I have had with this restaurant. The service was so slow. The food was awful. Some food was indelible and some didn’t even arrive to the table. The live music did not show up at all. I have been trying to get a response for 4 weeks to no avail. I would urge you not to book here. Still awaiting a call back and now their number is not working. Disappointed even doesn’t come close. Shame as the service from Julie up to the night I couldn’t fault.

We really enjoyed our evening, great live music and fun atmosphere, there was space to dance if you wanted too and the food is nice. Desserts could have been better. Service was friendly. I recommend for a unique experience. You can’t beat live music.

Wanted to spend a nice night with friends and the staff didn't know how to accommodate us and make us feel welcome. The decoration was ok.

Marcel's is our go-to bar in Watford. It is different. It does not have any teenagers or any fights like the rest of the bars in Watford and the overall quality of this place if very high.

We went in and I can honestly say it was so boring and uninteresting the decor inside is very bland and not as a cocktail bar should look. It was a Friday night and there was no atmosphere. The garden at the back is quite nice and the singer was really good. We ordered tapas again not great !! I wouldn’t return or recommend it … it sounds glamorous but it’s not !!

Amazing vibes and a great atmosphere. Music is amazing. This is my second time there and I had no idea there was as a beautiful terrace on the back. Staff are really friendly and dress nice! Loved the Merry Pickford cocktail.

Had no idea this place existed!!! Great crowd of people and if you don’t want to be invaded by teenagers this is by far the best place to go out in Watford. Staff are absolutely amazing I find their food really great and cocktails so classy and perfectly made. Live singers ,DJs and magicians and all sorts of entertainment I mean wow 🤩 Special shout out to Alessia for looking after us.

We were looking for a unique location for a corporate get together and boy did we find it…..cannot recommend it enough! Not only did we find a bar with great music & a live singer but the service, food & cocktails were absolutely delicious. Cannot wait to visit again with friends/family & future work events!

The courgette tempura and burrata were really good. Great bar food that looked as good as it tasted. Huge choice of drinks and some unusual cocktails at great prices. We really enjoyed the live jazz music, there was a lovely atmosphere great for couples or groups of friends, and really friendly staff. Will certainly be back 😊🙌

Myself and my fiancé visited here Saturday night, and had an excellent time! They had live music then a DJ, which both offered great music and had the dance floor full! Drinks were amazing, and the staff were great also. It's great decor in there, with a lovely atmosphere. Definitely will be returning! Thanks for a great night!

Amazing roast (we had chicken & beef roast) and the portion sizes were huge! service was outstanding and a special thanks to Maurizio who made us the most delicious cocktails & gave us good recommendations! Cannot fault anything about this whole experience and I look forward to returning soon!

The cocktails at Marcels are SO lovely! There’s not many other places in watford like it, the range and taste of each are great! They also now do a Sunday roast which is just amazing! So filling, the portion is huge and it’s well worth the money! The chicken was cooked perfectly and the beef option was soft and tasty! Would recommend for a Sunday lunch!!

I absolutely love the fact that Marcels now do a Sunday Roast! What a perfect Sunday afternoon spent enjoying cocktails with my roast! The cocktails here are also just so perfect and delicious and the range of cocktails is also REALLY good! I am excited to visit again to enjoy the live music! I loved the atmosphere and love the helpfulness of all the staff.

A new bar opened up on The Parade in watford. Great location and serve a range of tapas & nibbles, their speakeasy theme runs through the restaurant. A great range of cocktails out of the ordinary, really recommend the Marcel signature cocktails. They are now serving Sunday Roasts, I had the pleasure trying on Sunday and the meat was really of good quality on top of heaps of veg, really delicious.
