Tops Pizza in Watford

Ordered pizza 🍕 deal without tomatoe from Tops Pizza Watford .. delivered with tomatoe and when I called them they refused to issue a refund as the pizza was bitten into! They said pick out the tomatoe. They argued and said they will collect the pizza!! Please see below pic. They would not admit they made a mistake and are arguing about a slice of pizza that was bitten into.

Used to love this place but the last 2 times I have had pizza from them, the dough has obviously past its sell by date. Femented yeast flavour is vial. I believe they need an inspection from EHO

Taste wise the pizza was great. But the offer was literally cheatful because of its size and quantity. The medium pizza is £5.99 but they gave us ‘1+1’ offer for £13+ pounds which is unacceptable. Terrible experience.

The staff member who answers the phone is very rude has no idea about customer service and thinks the customer is doing him a favour ordering from him.. Discusting customer service from them!!! The customer is paying for a product and it’s their nod to provide the correct food!! Rubbish!!!

Was good pizza but going downhill fast! Never been a nice place for pizza collection, but pizza was good with good toppings. Not anymore, when I raised with manager, he said "we always give like this , as manger I am happy with this, maybe hidden under cheese! " I've been going for many years, but with so many alternatives I'll pick somewhere else now.

I have clearly declared that we don’t want sweet corn in toppings still they added. No curtesy nothing on top of that they said come back with proof. Seriously, its better to spend your money and time somewhere else.

Wrost Pizza Ever. They don’t deserve to be called Tops Pizza. We are Regular Customers of Tops Pizza Luton they know how to make pizza. But this branch is awful pizza was not well cooked. If you take a slice its shattered into pieces. Won’t recommend anyone specially for Pizza. Don’t waste your Money. Extremely Disappointed First and last order.

I asked for a vegetarian pizza and this is what I got. The bread is not cooked the pizza was cold and the toppings were not enough which was full of uncooked cheese. I called in and they didn’t had a good communication whatsoever.

Told me 15-20 minutes and it will ready and i came back in 22 minutes and they locked the shutters and i never got my pizza. Never use this place it is the worst for customer service i went back to ask if i could get a pizza now and the representative lied to me and told me he waited outside for me and brought it up with head office about what happened and when i asked for their head-office number he told me to leave the premises.

Extremely disappointing first order! I would highly recommend NOT to order from the Watford branch. Today is a member of staffs last day and she loves tops pizza. So, I decided take advantage of the ‘Party Pack Deal’. It states online that you can get any 3-supersize pizzas for £38.97. I selected this deal and chose the peri peri, special and margarita, along with a portion of wings, chicken strips, coca cola and Fanta. When a member of staff brought the order upstairs, I noticed that the pizzas were large, not supersize. I specifically chose supersize as there was 12 members of staff to feed. I rung the branch and explained the size of the pizza’s were incorrect. He took my order details and then told me ‘No, the order is correct we have given you the correct order’ I explained what I ordered and what I received. While I was explaining this, the man kept cutting me up and continuously wouldn’t let me finish my sentence. He said that what I’m seeing online is not true and I must be imagining it! At this point I got frustrated and said ‘I will come to the branch to show you myself’. I then drove to the branch, wasting my time and petrol when I should be at work saying a farewell to my employee. When I entered the shop, I asked if I could speak to the person in charge, the man I asked said ‘Yes that’s me’ I asked him if he was the man I spoke to over the phone, he knew where I was from as my name badge states this. I showed him a photo of my computer screen at work which clearly stated 3 supersize pizzas. He then went on his phone and showed me the mobile version, which was different to the computer version. I said I understand this, but I ordered on a computer, and I have photo evidence that what I’m saying is true! He wasn’t having any of it and again kept cutting my sentences short and wouldn’t let me get a word in edgeways. I then asked for his name and when I did, he turned his back to me and started putting a pizza in the oven, saying his name with his back turned to me! He said, ‘You can go to head office, I don’t want to speak with you anymore, we don’t want customers like you, my name is Ramesh’ I then wrote his name down on my phone and said, ‘We won’t be using your services again and I will be contacting head office to inform them of your disgusting, awful, shocking customer service!’ I am appalled at what’s happened, why couldn’t he just accept his mistake and apologised, maybe given a free medium pizza as a gesture of good will? I don’t understand why some individuals struggle to accept they made a mistake; we are all human and it happens sometimes. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

To make it real short: It's imperative that you STOP putting the little packs of sauces inside with the food because they all literally explode by the time it gets to people's home. Please put them in a separate bag as this is not nice, AT ALL!!! Also, your app stopped working and that's not okay as you had far better deals in there than in uber eats.

We’ve been ordering here for a long time. After receiving inedible pizza due to a raw layer of dough, and a pizza delivered with a burst pot of mayonnaise (egg intolerances and vegetarians in the house). We called up expecting a replacement or voucher or at-least an apology. Instead we were literally screamed at and completely mistreated over the phone. The employee shouting, told us that egg is vegetarian(😂😂😂😂) and the pizza isn’t undercooked (did he try it? Nope) and hung up on us. Absolutely shocked that anyone in customer service could speak to the costumer in such an atrocious abusive way. We will be taking our regular business elsewhere.

I ordered food through Deliveroo that never arrived and Deliveroo said that they spoke to the restaurant who said it had , Deliveroo would not give me a refund because the restaurant use they’re own rider so lost out on nearly £40 worth of food.

VERY BAD FOOD ALWAYS GIVE FOOD LATE AND WHEN LATE FOR DELIVERY SAY NOTHING NOT EVEN SORRY DONT EVEN THINK THEY HAVE MANAGER ALWAYS UNDERCOOKED FOOD AND VERY ROOD DELIVERY DRIVERS.

Very disappointing for a first order.. order a deal with a drink and dips but never got it .. the driver basically lied that another guy is on his way about 3 minutes away with your drink but I knew that was a lie.. in short that was my first and last..

17 pound for a small large pizza not good value for money would not order again

delivery drive was very rude on delivery and had a go for a good 3 minutes when he couldn't locate the flat (despite giving instructions and there being a map of flats outside the flats) and i accidentally had an old number. Awful attitude after spending over £30. Wont be ordering again.

They advertise so many offers and promotions on A signe in front and in the window. Get drinks with your pizza. Buy one get one free. None of them apply for one reason or another when you ask for it

Tops Pizza has been our go to pizza for years when I was living in Pinner, I believe the store from where we were delivered were Rayners Lane and hats off to their taste and service. Recently moved to Watford and ordered from Tops Pizza Watford and it was horrible pizza I ever tasted. It was not properly cooked and felt like a rushed up job. The order was delivered on time so I dont think it was rush time. If anyone reading from there. Please look for quality in your Pizza or your loyal fan base are going to slip through. I am not sure if I will order again from here.

Topps has been our go-to pizza takeaway place since we moved to the area 2 years ago. We must have ordered at least 15 times and I never expected such poor customer service as I experienced this time. My husband asked for our pizzas to be extra cooked. The special was well done on the top but the dough was completely raw inside, I’ve included a photo. The veggie pizza was supposedly well done too but you can see the difference in colour compared to the special. I could live with the veg pizza if the manager hadn’t jumped at his own defence telling me that this happens when it’s over cooked and there’s nothing they can do. Eventually just put the phone down completely confused listened to the manager’s excuses and that’s 2 pizzas gone to waste. No offer to remake our order or a refund. Completely unprofessional in my opinion and won’t be ordering from here again.

Great pizzas and great customer service. They need to sort out their telephones as it doesn’t cut out the sound and the management can’t hear you well as they shout over the phone to take your order.

We have ordered pizza from here regularly through the years but the quality and the customer service has just gone down hill. To the orders being wrong and the staff taking no responsibility for it and leaving us with the wrong pizzas. Ridiculous! We ordered chicken tikka chicken for our topping and normally it's red when I called them they asked if it was red I said no they put me on hold for afew seconds said it's definitely chicken tikka and ended the call. The chicken is obviously plain. Pics attached...

I ordered pizzas for the first time from this place via Deliveroo. I was not disappointed the pizzas arrived before time and piping hot and fresh.

Tried to order online but their online system requests you to * sign up * please give option for just order as a guest please. Anyways so had to order by phone, I had to order the pizza with the sausage crust as I was hooked on this when domino's had it. guy on the telephone was super nice, and informative with the order (repeating order and warning of any allergies, toppings etc) was told delivery around 40mins, food arrived within 30mins and was piping hot. Love the sausage crust pizza

Can't get enough. They deliver the pizza so hot that it's just delicious. Probably not great for people watching their weight as they don't skimp on the ingredients. It's the best pizza deliver in watford by far. Their website and app also collect points so you can get free meals..always handy! And perfect for hangover cures.

Order from here regularly, pizza is good, service is great and delivery is always speedy. Never had a single issue, their pizza does not drip grease and their sides are a fantastic addition to any pizza. If you'd like a suggestion I would recommend getting chicken Tikka, pepperoni and extra cheese, truly delicious combo. Oh and a portion of the spicy chicken dippers! Maybe the fiery wings if you're brave enough!
