I ordered for take away for my pizza. But it take long time so i just ask for that how long it take time but the person name vishnu his behaviour is very rough. He don’t have any idea how to handle client. Than i got my pizz after 1:20hr but it was not properly cooked. Cheese also smelling. Overall it’s very bed experience.

We are ordere for takeway. My order is not ready for 30 min . I just ask to store managers for deley my order so he is talk me very Rudely. He is use very bad language. This guy name is Vishnu.

Papa John’s St Albans Road, terrible service. Pizza always arrives at least 30 mins after showing on website as ready for delivery so it’s always cold. Have waited 35 mins today after the website showed it was ready and when they finally answered the phone they said there was a problem with their order software and with their driver system and couldn’t say when it would be delivered (don’t accept online orders for delivery then!), so we had to go pick it up.

I ordered pizzas through the app. I never received the order. After several attempts to contact them, they picked up the phone and told me that the drivers are on strike they don’t deliver the orders. Why don’t they block the delivery option if it’s temporary not available? The team had no problem solving skills and there wasn’t anyone in charge, the manager wasn’t there or available to call. Very poor management to let the team down in a situation like this.

Ordered online and it took 1 hour 25 mins to arrive. I called the shop 10 times until they answered the phone. They gave me excuses and promised the pizza is on its way which was a lie. When the pizza arrived it was barely warm. RIDICULOUS. I will never order again

Today I placed order 7:35pm when we order he says half an hour after 90 min not received order and I spoke manager Vinay and he provide worst customer care and says come to collect after pay for delivery charges . PLEASE NEVER ORDER this Watford store st Alban road

Avoid this disgusting restaurant and the manager Virek lied and lied about the food. The most dishonest guy ever encountered in any restaurant. Rude and dishonest and disgusting food. Other reviews tell the same story -- the blame is with Virek. Close this restaurant.

Shocking service from this store, order wrong on arrival, but was sorted once called and reported. Within in this order we ordered oreo bites which had no oreo in whatsoever, we pulled these apart to try see exactly what was going on, again rang the store and reported again new item was dropped off, but demanded we give the old one's back, the the driver then proceeded to argue with me telling me we ate the inner contents, "saying this no good" "this is no good" accusing me of lying. An absolute abysmal service would not recommend

This place is a rip-off!! Avoid to order here. They overcharge the pizzas, I asked for the receipt and they said they couldn’t give it. We order by phone 2 pizzas, he charged us £10 more and he said it was by mistake, afterwards he said he can make us another pizza. Be careful!

Refrain from using St.Albans road, Watford. I have been a customer for many years. When they forgot my garlic pizza bread sticks they refused to rectify or take the rest of my order back and refund. When i opened my actual pizza the order was entirely incorrect. I would of let this slide on this occasion however their customer service was so dibological that they have lost a customer. I reccomend you use Dominios Bushey.

I have never had a worse experience from Papa Johns than today. My food took 90 minutes to arrive, it arrived cold, and the staff think it’s okay to lie to customers and put the phone down on them when they ask for a refund. I am flabbergasted that they make enough money to trade if this is how they treat their customers. The worst experience of my life and frankly makes me think Dominos would be better. 😱🤬

This store is very poor. Ordered a XL pizza and they sent me a large one. When I complained, they refused to change it cause I had open it… on a different order, seal came open and a piece is foil was on top of the pizza has it was a topping. VERY POOR SHOP! I have photos of all of this. This shop should get new management and quality control

I have a receipt and order number but when I eventually got through to the store after our dinner hasn’t arrived an hour in a half later the guy tells me to have a good night and it’s not his problem, speak to customer service - open mon-fri 9-5 - it is Saturday night. Then slams the phone down. Daylight robbery. If you want your order to arrive I suggest you look for somewhere with integrity.

Ordered online for a birthday party, order came in 1h40min and incomplete. Driver came back with the remaining order plus 1 pizza extra for their mistake. This store is 5 minutes driving from my place. You delivered in 💯 minutes.

This unit is extremely unprofessional and do not maintain usual standards you find in papa Jones pizza. The pizza is very often found with quite less toppings and severe delays in delivering. Perhaps the unit owner is making money by cutting short on quality and service. Extremely rude staff. Stay away from this place... Papa Jones needs to take strict action against this unit as it's causing their brand a serious damage.

Worst pizza, worst customer service and longest delivery ever! 3 cold, hard pizzas delivered an hour late, was hung up on when I phoned to ask where it was and I was still charged the full ticket. Do not buy your pizza from here do not give them your money you will be sorry. That's as honest as I can get.

One of the worse experience ever. I never imagined eating a pizza without cheeses. It was a waste of XXL pizza. Once one garlic sauce came with the XXL pizza. Extra sauce were 50p each for a time tub and he garlic sauce was water thin and looked like diarrhoea. Another thing which put me off when collecting the pizza from the store was that the staff were using a small dustpan "brush" to whipe the cheese which had fallen on the work station and was put it back the container. Surly the brush is only used for whipeing the counter but it did not sit right with me and I didn't want to see it. Papa John's pizza is normal nice but the branch on St. Albans road need to up their standard.

DO NOT deserve even a Star - Papa Johns - St. Albans Road, Watford branch. One of the worse experience ever. Oder pizza on Friday evening online. After waiting for an hour app shows your Pizza been delivered but NO deliver received. Try to call branch over 20 times but one one bother answering calls. After almost 2 hours (110 minutes) later pizza arrive. When called brach was given excuse we are busy on order. Zero Customer Services, no time to listen to customer’s concerns and totally ignorant toward customers. Was promised manager will get in touch and full refund for the order in 2-3 working days. Heard nothing from anyone since week, so called again and spoke with Area Manager - Ms Wiktoria, unable to resolve issues, promised a lot but delivered nothing. Her excuse was she was on annual leave and no one there to response to complaints. It took her two weeks to refund full money and promised twice to call back but heard nothing back from her. On top ignored phone calls and emails. Highly unprofessional not only staff but also management team too. Diabolical rather acutely unprofessional bunch of team at Papa Johns Watford (St.Albans road).

Yesterday I order 1st time with the papa John’s pizza and I got the unique Test and today I visit the store I can’t explain behaviour and the cleanliness of the store. Store is very clean and all staff is very friendly. I would like to visit a store again.👌🏻

Awful service. Pre ordered at 16:00 for 19:15 and it arrived an hour late. Tried to call them and got (when they answered which was rare) a load of rubbish how he was just leaving, now I would understand if the driver went from Watford to Watford via Kazakhstan but I assume he didnt. Won't be going here again. I get better service from roadkill.

Best and fastest delivers delicious food

We ordered a £5 feeds 4 which included two sides and two medium pizzas with a drink. They were all delicious and hot. Can’t complain, got exactly what was expected.

We went into the beach and the manager behaviour was absolutely disgusting, he was extremely Rude and told us we did not deserve a refund and he knows the pizza were late and so what! This is completely unacceptable behaviour and whilst I was in the branch he told his staff who we placed the order with to pay out of his own pocket if he wanted to refund us. I advise you stay away from this branch!!!

Worst customer service. Food came over 1 hour late, we called 3 times after 45 min (which was the delivery time promised) to see where our food is but was left was ambiguous info. 3rd time the phone was closed in our face, had to call from another number & the manager was unhelpful and rude. Have used this store ever since it opened but after my recent experience would not use it again. It was a wintry Friday evening, we did not feel like going out so we ordered 2 x medium pizzas and 2 sides and watched the status go from Ordered to In The Oven, to Out For Delivery. Normally this is the point where we go get plates and cutlery and drinks ready on the table. We waited, and waited. Finally about 45 mins after "Out For Delivery" had popped up, I called the store to see what had happened, as it is less than half a mile away. We were assured it was out for delivery. OK. About 10 minutes later the delivery driver makes an appearance, no apology or care about it, even though he says that his manager has already been on the phone to him about it. The pizzas and sides are almost stone cold by this point so we have to reheat them in the oven to make them palatable. I call the store and inform the manager of this, he says there is nothing he can do except maybe we can call up some other time "when they are quieter, like a weekday", and he will see what he can do. Meanwhile I get a "How did we do?" email survey request and I fill it in honestly based on the facts that we had slow delivery and cold pizza. Fast forward a few weeks, we fancy pizza again so I call the store and ask to speak to the manager to see what his "offer" is. He laughs and tells me that once he saw I had given him a "bad" review, that he struck off the note that he had previously put on the system saying "Give a full free order", and now all he is prepared to offer is one medium pizza. All because he took offence to an honest survey, seen by no one else except him and his own line manager. How pathetic. I rejected the "offer" and we ordered from Domino's instead, who delivered hot pizza in good time (and I would recommend anyone to use again in the future). And now my review is on Google for EVERYONE to see :-)

Ordered an £18.99 pizza meal for home delivery. I give the driver twenty quid and he tells me he's got no change, then stands there, with an expectant look on his face. I tell him I need my change. Bloody cheek. Eventually, he says he'll drop the pound off later. He doesn't. Spoke to manager on phone next day, who said he'd have the money delivered. He didn't. WARNING.....All pizzas served hot...with a complimentary topping of BS!!! Note to Papa Johns: Enforced tipping is THIEVERY!!!!

Please don't use this Restaurant..POOR POOR SERVICE..Ordered a Pizza online which took over an hour and a half to be delivered, tried calling the restaurant around 8 times to complain but no one answered, to top it off I was sent the wrong Pizza, so tried calling again, only again to have no one pick up. Managed to speak to a member of staff late Sunday afternoon to complain, no apology and was told that they were to busy to answer the phone and short staffed, made a complaint to head office demanding a refund which they declined but offered a free pizza..WONT BE USING THIS COMPANY AGAIN..

I've been having pizzas delivered from here for quite some time with never a problem. Even the pizzas were quite nice. However a few weeks ago I ordered a pizza and when I opened it, it wasn't the pizza I ordered. I called to complain and to give them their due they did send the correct one. However last week I ordered a pizza for myself & a friend to be delivered at 18:00 At 18:20 I called to find out where it was only to be told that it had already been delivered. When the manager asked the delivery guy, it was apparent that he'd delivered it to the wrong address. I guess that was my fault for paying in advance! However he said he's resend the order with a complimentary bottle of Pepsi and would be another 20 mins. An hour later the order finally arrived whereupon I discovered that both pizzas were wrong! Both my friend & I tried calling the shop (I tried almost 50 times!) but they were quite obviously refusing to answer the phone! It's patently obvious to me that the "chef" can't read his own menus or the orders and aldso that "the manager" cannot manage!!! Don't bother with the menu ... just order anything ... It'll make no difference to what you receive!!!

Ordered at around 3pm online for 5.30 pm delivery. 7.30pm and no sign of delivery although, the online tracker said it had been delivered. We called about 20 times and no answer. We went to the shop and was told their delivery driver had had an accident. Very hard to believe. Anyway, we asked to cancel the order and refund the payment on my debit card. They were unable to refund on my card so they gave us cash in hand. DODGY & AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Never going here again.

Ordered through JustEat, which said the delivery time was 7:30. I checked the app again at 8pm, and it said the order had been delivered - which was NOT true. I tried to call, no answer. I spoke to the JE people, they tried to call, no answer. A very nice lady at JE cancelled my order and I gave up and went out for groceries. When I got home, there was a strange man on my driveway, who complained to me that he'd been waiting to deliver a pizza for 10 minutes. I looked at him in shock and told him he was over an hour late and I had cancelled the order. Then he got snippy with me and told me he was "just the delivery driver, I don't know". Absolutely shocking, if I could give less than 1 star, I would.

Ordered delivery twice from here, first time , actualy forgot the pizzas, secondtime forgot all sides, were told we would get a free order next time but they have conveniently forgot, place is a joke!

Workers from the Indian subcontinent who can not make a decision , if you make a complaint , the "manager" will never be there . Save your money and indigestion, and don't use this place !

Usually like papa johns, just ordered from this branch for the first time, got a terrible service, nearly an hour and a half for delivery, phoned the store they were very unhelpful had trouble understanding what I was saying. When pizza turned up they tried to deliver to next door and pizzas were cold and not very fresh. Not even an apology from the store or driver.Won't be ordering from them any time soon.

Tried to order staff unable to speak or understand English, bad customer service generally and very tight with toppings went with Dominoes.

Found several large black hairs in my pizza, wanted the town centre branch to deliver but the Papa Johns website would not allow so forced to order from St Albans Road. Called the branch and staff did not speak English and found him very rude and abrupt. Also they are very clearly after the monthly sales bonuses due to the lack of toppings, anyway all the pizza went into the bin and will buy from Dominoes or Pizza Express in future.

Found a biggest black hair on my pizza never going bk again

I have been ordering delivery services from the Market Street branch for over 2 years now and I am very happy with the quality of food and service I received. But last night I tried the newly opened in St Alban's Road and I am not at all impressed with it. The delivery took just over an hour to arrive - I live less than 2 miles away - and when it did, the bottom of 3 of the boxes were oily. The sides - garlic knot - were saturated in oil, heavy and soggy and the general quality of the pizzas were not of great standard of the Papa John's I knew. It reminded me of the same poor quality of the pizza company (a rival) that was there previously - they were shut down - replaced by Papa John's. I was wondering if the shop setup and franchiser is the same as before - just name change. This will be the first and last time I'm ordering from this branch. I will go back to my original branch in the future.

My son ordered a pizza delivery from Papa John's new fast food take-away in St Albans Road, and it arrived with human hairs baked into it. Please look at the picture. He called them to complain only to be told no one would be able to help him because the manager was "off till Thursday", two days away. "It's not my problem," the employee said. It turned out that the person who answered the phone was one of only two people who work there - one who makes the pizzas, and the other who delivers them. When I called Papa John's, Imran, the driver, who answered the phone said it was his job to answer the phone and to make deliveries. The cook was "off on a break." And when I asked him if he was able to do anything about the pizzas, he said only the manager was able to make such decisions, and he was off for two days. When I said this was appalling service, he replied "that's your opinion." He showed absolutely zero empathy and really didn't care at all. I would advise the you avoid this Papa John's like the plague.
