MOD Pizza - Watford in Watford

I love the pizza here! Honestly fantastic! And such good value for money! Their chocolate milkshake is also scrumptious! I’ve gone back many times and never been disappointed. I hope they never leave and expand across the country. Only critique is that my friend said the vegan pizza (especially the cheese) was not good.

Been in about 5 times now, love it. Great quality food and good value. Lovely staff and quick service - can’t go wrong.

My son came here for his friend's birthday and hasn't stopped going on about wanting us to try it. So we did, but as a take-away. First off, there was no staff around to ask where to collect my online order and no sign postings anywhere either. So I queued up behind a large group who looked like they were celebrating a birthday. Considering the number of people in front of me, the wait wasn't too long. When I got to the front and requested my collected, I was redirected to where I was supposed to wait to collect my order. The girl who served me must have been new because she seemed to be very confused by everything, she couldn't seem to assembly the takeaway box lid and base together, nor work out how to put the wax paper inside the box. To her credit she kept checking the receipt instructions against the instructions on the wax paper repeatedly, but unfortunately despite even after her 5th time checking she still missed off the instructed finishing - I didn't realise this until I got home. Second off, if she's new, please give her some help. If she's not, then give her a nudge to smile a bit and communicate when your order is complete and ready. My order was almost 10 minutes over its collection time and when it was ready, she didn't even tell me. The verdict, when you order from the restaurant itself, it's like ordering from Subway and it seems to work - it's quick and seems seamless. When ordering online its also an easy process. The pizzas are very good value, the size, the amount of toppings and the taste makes this a worthwhile visit.

Popped in last night after the cinema to get two pizzas to take home. Restaurant, which looked warm and inviting, only had a young chap hanging about and another couple waiting. Staff looked so unhappy to be there, wow! Not friendly at all! When we got home we tucked in - great pizza! But then my husband found a long blonde hair in a slice. Ugh! And then I found one also! Baked into the pizza! Thinking back, none of the staff wore any hats/hair nets - this whilst preparing food! Is this allowed? This was so gross. Needless to say both remaining halves went into the bin. I'll go back to making my own pizzas again.

Found it friendly, service was great and food and drink great value. Would definitely visit again 😀

I visit mod Watford today with my family staff was really friendly and chatty, plus pizzas were delicious. We will be back :)

1st time customer and definitely not the last. Under £8 for 11" Pizza with as many toppings as you like, Perfect!

Had only 30 minutes before the film started. Popped in MOD pizza so quick and easy. Taken to a table and then it is over to you. We gave our order to the staff making the pizzas. For speed we went for a set one but you can choose your own if you have time. Paid and got a buzzer which told us when it was ready. Got drinks from the pay point surprising good selection including pints of draft lager and ale. Great idea with soft drink free refills. Food prepared quickly delicious pizza disappeared in seconds and then off to the film. We went to see Last Christmas a must see this year we loved it.

I really like being able to make your own pizza and change up the recepie every time to make it perfect. The preset pizzas look bland so you only have yourself to blame if you don't like the food - make your own. that's where the fun and flavour is. They used to bring the pizzas to your table but now you collect it: didn't make a difference to me but you may feel differently about it.

Went for the first time with family members today. We shared two delicious pizzas and loved the one price whatever the flavour. The young man in charge was so friendly, enthusiastic and professional, which made our enjoyment of the evening even better! I'd go again for lunch or a catch up with friends and family. Great value.

I went to MOD pizza with a couple of friends, as there was a shopping event and they were giving a free build your own pizza (which of course led to a bit of a queue as everyone loves a freebie). I must say that despite how overwhelming the situation was and some of the customers being very rude & annoying, the service was fantastic. The staff were very friendly and well organised, and the pizza was yummy! We'll be back for sure!

My first visit last night on the back of the Watford Intu VIP Shopping Night Event. The place was packed due to the free pizza offer, the staff were incredible given the pressure they were under and the pizza was bliss. I will definitely be going back

We were a group of 3 adults trying for the first time a MOD pizza on Sunday. This store seems to be run by very young people -the manageress looking in my opinion too young to be running this place. The cutlery served was dirty and when asked if there were any cleaner ones were told that’s all we had -that’s in the container. The manageress would not even hand wash them to make them cleaner. We found cleaner ones. I guess that’s because they were cleaned in a dishwasher that doesn’t work efficiently. The place had air condition turned up high-which was turned down at my request which I’m happy .I ordered a “Tristan” which clearly states “Pesto and veggies” -NO Pesto was on it so when I asked for the Pesto there was no apology as to why there was none on. The pesto was then added on top and was very runny. Overall young staff should not be running a fast food place if they have no training in food technology.

Amazing staff who are very helpful, food tasted absolutely amazing, definitely worth the money. 😁😁

Walking through the town center we were offered a tiny slice to try - as we were getting hungry we tried, liked and decided to give the place a go. Welcoming, friendly, clean and reasonably priced. Minor critic .... too quick - asked what sauce on pizza and gave us suggestions, buffalo we said & with same breath changed our mind, it was too late and it spoilt our meal because we had to eat the pizza!! Despite been told after collecting our first item that the rest would be brought to our table we had to keep getting up to collect when the buzzer went off because everything came one at a time :(

Just sitting in mid waiting for a refund on drinks. When we arrived we took a seat and we're told it was about 15 min wait because they'd run out of lots of toppings (yes really!). We were told the waitress would let us know when we could order!!!! We waited for 15 mind when another waiter let about 10 people go and order. When we questioned him about it because we had waited 15 mins we were told they were only ordering sides because it was a 20 min wait!!! Unbelievable. Quite frankly, really poor management that a pizza restaurant can run out of toppings before more being prepared. Not acceptable.

I walked in and was a little lost as I saw menus on entry. As ppl were seated I thought you had to wait for a table. Regardless, a lovely lady who works there (Emilia) soon smiles at me and explained the menu, pizza sizes and options etc

You get what you pay for. Yes it’s cheap, but never have I had to eat salad & unsliced pizza with a spoon because they ran out of forks and knives. Service was zero. Pizza was standard. Other customers are noisy slobs. Fail

About 20 of us went to mod for a colleagues leaving do and had a great time, pizza really fresh and tasty, prices good and service was fast and friendly, we will definitely be going back again 👍🏻

What can I say but another great pizza and garlic strips we had at MOD pizza in Watford,The toppings is so fresh and so much to choose from me and my fiancé absolutely love it here great food and great value for money so worth the visit :-)

Fed up with pizza hut greasy pizzas. This is pizza back to basics and really good. It's nice to see that you can add however many toppings you want without them hitting you in your pocket for it. My wife had a huge salad which looked great. Nice to see Innocent Bubbles available too.

Super disappointed. Won’t be back - even the drinks dispenser was flat (both of them but assuming they’re pulling from the same gas tank) and wasn’t changed whilst we were there.

Brilliant pizza. Tasty make your own and very reasonable price. Drink machine has nice mango drink fully recommend

Friendly & efficient staff. Good for kids, they'll like the choice of pizzas & ability to choose their own toppings. Tip: no table service, order at the counter; but this does work well. Pizza's are OK.

Went to mod pizza after my friends and I had finished work for dinner found a couple of members of staff very very rude, one of them saying to my friends go and sit down and sit down quickly! Also felt like they were rushing us out the restaurant, when picking our toppings for our pizza one staff member was looking at us with disgust! Felt very unwelcome and definitely won’t be returning!!

Don’t order MOD for delivery! Have used Deliveroo but order has been repeatedly wrong. Wrong salad, wrong toppings, wrong sauce. When they get it right, it tastes great. MOD have admitted it’s their fault but they don’t seem to be learning from their mistakes. I fear for people with allergies....you are unlikely to get what you order

Went to Mod for the first time with my friend. We had such a fab experience. Every single staff member went out of their way to make us understand the concept, talk to us about our day, and make sure we were having a great time. I have never been to a restaurant that has had such BRILLIANT customer service. From the start to finish.

Came in here on a Friday evening before the cinema - service was good and the pizza's we had were very tasty. Good to have something different on the high street in Watford.

What can I say! I know how many calories I am consuming because the menu provides you with nutritional information (wow). Now to the Pizza I had the full house meat feast and well I have never consumed good so quickly or glutinously. It was delicious and so yummy. Highly recommended and all Pizzas are under £8 bargain.... sorry Pizza Hut have found a new favourite.

We had seen MOD pizza in London and wanted to try it so planned to visit while staying in Watford for my son’s 11th Birthday. The staff where excellent and went the extra mile for my son’s bday which was great! Tasty pizza and we liked the drink options including a mango flavoured juice. Please open a MOD in Bromley!

While I do really enjoy the food and the atmosphere, however something has always gone wrong with my order almost everytime I have visited, like mixing up my pizza with another table's or not including all of the ingredients for example.

Was looking fast food today but found this place Fabulous service, excellent food choices and the bottomless drinks are fab not just cola and fanta. Will go back to watford just to eat here Cant rate it high enough

Good Pizzas made to your specification, any toppings and portions required are plentiful, service is good and drinks are refillable. The pizzas are cooked and brought to your table, as a result you have a tailor made, tasty hot pizza with minimal wait As for the cost, well I don't think there are many establishments which will be cheaper.

This was the 1st time I had been to a MOD Pizza. I really enjoyed it, you go and select alll the things you like, it is then cooked and brought to the table.

What a fantastic pizza and a great customer service. Loved the toppings and taste of the pizza. Good value as well.

First time visiting a MOD and it was excellent with attentive servers, quick service and very tasty food ! The lemonade was great and as a non dairy person being able to eat a pizza was great !

Thankfully a party of people were just leaving as our party of 6 were choosing our pizzas, so we could sit together.

The style of the restaurant is that you can select from a range of Pizzas or select your own ingredients. The price is the same and very reasonable at that. I have been three times as it is quicker than most places for a take-away and the selection of items for toppings is very good.

New to Watford, but already becoming a favourite. Choose the size of pizza you want and then what toppings you want. MOD - made on demand. Great for lunchtimes.

I needed a meal in a hurry so popped in for a pizza. Was surprised by the menu and the short amount of time it took to be ready.

Went in to MOD with my wife because it's new and we wanted to try it out. We ordered a 12 inch pizza with our own toppings and two soft drinks. This was at 5pm on Sunday 16/December 2018. At 5.35, we were still sitting there without our pizza and they weren't very busy. I asked the waitress to check on it as we had been waiting a long time and it turned out they hadn't put it in the oven. We had to be somewhere so we couldn't wait any longer so we asked for a refund. My wife had paid for this on her card and wasn't given a receipt so wasn't sure how much she paid. \they insisted she had ordered a 7 inch and reimbursed her for that . We still had to pay for the soft drinks. I will never go there again.

Really can’t understand the positive reviews. Ordered online through deliveroo and quality was very low. Yes you can choose among loads of toppings but what’s the benefit if the pizza is awful? Probably the worst pizza I’ve tasted in London. Won’t order again

This place is great for quick and delicious pizza. Food arrived in under 10 minutes and service was great (especially Lola who helped advise me on what would best suit my dietary requirements). I will definitely be back

Went to MOD pizza in Watford for the first time ever the restaurant has only been open for a short time I really enjoyed it the make your own pizza was brilliant with lots of toppings to choose from,the strawberry lemonade was lovely I will definitely be having that again,well worth a visit

A quick pizza after festive shopping? This was super fast, but I never felt rushed, the friendly staff who had "gratitude with attitude" and genuine smiles, catered for all my guests individual needs, allergies and tastes, from piled high meat feasts to simple gluten free cheese and tomato. I particularly enjoyed "The Jam" playing in the background and the butternut squash. MOD has found that middle ground between restaurant ambience and fast food efficiency.

A discovery. Easy dining. Great value. Situated in a good part of town. Not too busy at 8.30pm. Good quality fresh food, cooked in front of you. Really good vibe

Super fresh, stone baked yumminess with multiple unlimited toppings for one set very reasonable price. Delicious dips, kids sizes available too, friendly service though they need to quicken the order process which I imagine will happen in time. I can’t wait to go back for my next one! And they’re on Deliveroo too, hooray.

The pizzas are delicious (although mine came out slightly burnt) however, the service is disappointing.
