Good franchised coffee with standards you’d expect all in place. Good service and menu choices along with barista style drinks, served quickly and slightly over-priced. Well situated, clean and comfortable.
First and last time trying Cafe Giardino. I ordered the poached eggs, with avocado and tomato on brown (breakfast option), it was shocking.
My food arrived and as soon as it was put on my table I could see a shell still stuck on one of my eggs, so not a great start but these things happen sometimes. Where do I start.. the eggs which I could see them poaching in the microwave had a hard boiled centre when I cut into them, not runny how a poached egg is meant to be, with no seasoning whatsoever. The eggs were on top on 2 burnt bits of brown bread. On the side of the plate was a cold tomato which had just been taken out of the fridge, chopping into a few slices and put on the plate, along side a few slices of avocado which had already been cut earlier in the day as it was already turning brown, all of this with no seasoning at all. The blandest and worst breakfast I have ever had. They charge £10.95 for 1/2 bland cold tomato chopped into slices (no seasoning) , 1/2 browning avocado again cut into slices & bland (not even cut into chucked and mixed with lemon juice a bit of salt and pepper), 2 burnt pieces of brown bread and 2 over done microwaved poached eggs. After the first bite I left the food and cafe, I was shocked that they could serve something like this. It’s safe to say I will not be going back.
Ordered salt & pepper chicken, sweet & sour and egg fried rice for 2 ppl.
The food was delicious! Crunchy, fresh, juicy and decent portions.
We will be back
As a regular visitor I felt compelled to praise what they do for others to enjoy. Firstly, convenient location, always free parking available if dining. Friendly welcome by staff. Relaxing, comfortable and spacious restaurant with large glass windows allowing plenty of sunlight. Menu is comprehensive and very reasonable prices. Food arrives quickly and cooked perfectly. Everything is super clean (a standard that many restaurant chains don’t seem to uphold). On my latest visit, Ned and Savanna served me and provided excellent customer service. We needed to make a change to one of the dishes after we had ordered and they saw that it was no problem. As you can see, My family and I highly recommend The Rising Sun.
I have visited this Caffe Nero many times over the years but today will be the last of those visits.
They are supposed to serve strong Italian coffee but what did we get - BROWN WATER.
They can no longer claim that this is Italian coffee as any Italian would be embarrassed by that claim.
Avoid this Caffe Nero at all costs, it is actually worse than Starbucks and that is really saying something!

Review: Tim Hortons Customer Service
Tim Hortons is a staple for quick and satisfying meals, but the customer service can be a hit or miss depending on the location. At its best, the staff are friendly, welcoming, and efficient, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience. Employees often greet customers with a smile and handle busy hours with a sense of urgency while maintaining professionalism.
However, during peak times, there can be occasional delays or order mix-ups. For example, long queues may go unnoticed, and some employees may seem overwhelmed. While most staff try their best, a few locations could benefit from better training in communication and prioritization.
A standout aspect of Tim Hortons’ service is their commitment to accommodating dietary preferences. Whether you’re ordering a meatless sandwich or need help customizing a drink, the staff are generally cooperative.
Overall, Tim Hortons excels in creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere most of the time. With slight improvements in handling peak hours and consistency across locations, their customer service could easily match their delicious menu.
Just had the worst Cappuccino ever, badly made and atrociously presented. Staff clearly need retraining as this was an appalling example of how to get something so simple so wrong.
What a waste of money, sadly back in car before lid came off to reveal the disaster.
My order tonight was very bad not cooked the chicken was raw and smells like bad eggs I would like my money back please so bad the food so bad and last week my husband had someone teeth in the food
