Had a piece of chicken looks like its been cooked & cooked like its days old . So horrible fed it to the cat .

We went to the White Lion for my husbands 70th birthday. There was 27of us for Sunday lunch, what a brilliant afternoon we had. The atmosphere was wonderful the food was amazing everyone raved about Jennie’s roast potatoes said they were the best they had eaten. Thank you to everyone that made our afternoon a memorable one.

Very good service. I’m vegan and I bought a veggie Mac and cheese meal by mistake (should’ve worn my glasses!) Even though this was totally my fault, the manager let me exchange it for something else, which she didn’t have to do. Thank you to her!

Their pani puri chaat was below average their aloo partha was nothing special but wouldn’t go back overall disappointing

We went into Pizza Express at Lakeside tonight for family dinner. We’ve had an excellent experience at the restaurant. Food quality was great, the ambience of the restaurant was pleasant and nice. We were served by a young waitress Hannah, she was friendly, well mannered and attentive. Great customer service. We will definitely be back.

Oct 2023 Not busy Sunday noon, had to wait for nuggets to be fried, but wasn't too long + they were freshly fried. April 2023 Order fulfilled quickly, contained all the items I ordered. All good as expected. July 2022 Was a lot busier. However, I still got my order in good time. No mistakes were made with the order. Feb 2022 Ordered at counter, was quick to serve, and food was just as expected. This was at a quiet time 10:30 on a Sunday. The restaurant was clean. Update Dec 2021. A full refurbishment has been completed. My experience this time was a bit worse, I ordered ahead thru the app. However, the staff member I went to didn't seem to know what they were meant to do. They gave me a receipt, but it appears that they were meant to get my order immediately, so I was waiting, but eventually I asked about it after 10mins of waiting. The manager staff member sorta rebuked me when I just said I was waiting. How was I meant to know your process of dealing with an app order? So maybe you could train the staff properly to deal with all situations they could be in. Jun 2021 This burger king could do with an update/refurbishment. The service was a bit slow at first as there was only one person at the till. I could see the manager visibly telling others that there is only one, where is the other person... When I did get served, I had ordered online, and so my order was already ready. Was not too overcrowded

Delectable, delicious food. I love vegetables, seafood, fish etc. Great coffee and dessert. Fantastic chef; scrumptious Sunday lunch menu. Super management. Excellent service especially from Phil, whose customer care ensured special dietary needs were accommodated and made our meal outstanding. He is always very attentive to everyone. Thank you so much, all staff.

Food is beautiful and the new owners are so welcoming and helpful. I really do recommend this. We have done takeaway, but will definitely eat in when we get a chance as such a nice and fun atmosphere.

I go into the costa at lakeside retail park bout 3times a week..all the staff are so friendly and kind..at all times..its my favourite coffee shop. Regards kathryn

How is it acceptable or even possible that ikea are serving such low quality food with poor levels of customer service. This type of food reminded me of a primary school in a deprived area. Can't even say its low quality reflects the price because the price is way to high in comparison to the quality. Food was cold, dry considering it was supposed to be a hot meal. Only thing I enjoyed was the coffee only because it was hot!! Never ever again.

really good value for money, and especially if like me your daft and get an large kebab, and large chips you can just about eat it all, although you will feel a bit stuffed, you will go to sleep very happy indeed, very friendly people, and excellent service, and being someone who has gone there a couple of times, they are very happy to see you return there, excellent menu to choose from, sometimes it can take a couple of minutes to decide what you what, especially if spoilt for choice, and there kofta kebab is really one of the nicest kebabs i`ve ever had.

I ate here for the very first time yesterday, and the quality of the food was absolutely amazing. It was like having a breakfast at a decent hotel. Most cafes in and around Thurrock sell you those cheap nasty sausages. It's on the Docks in Tilbury, but open to the public, I only found out about it because I work on the docks. I highly recommend their breakfasts, problem is there's only one young lady who serves and works very hard, because the place doesn't seem to get too busy. I reckon once a few more people have tried their food it will get really busy. Apparently they used to be open 24 hours and do really nice dinner's which I haven't tried.

We been today 08.05.25, food is excellent bit service is very poor, no one come asked how's your wise, waiting for morethan 40 minutes if someone will come ask if we want dessert, but nothing, frustrated so we paid our bill..then we realised that they took discretionary seevice charged without asking or telling.🤔🤔 despite that we are only the customer eating.. but no one to ask...
