The best restaurants in St Albans East of England

Thai Square is my regular spot when staying in St Albans. The food is always great and Ken and the team are always super welcoming.

Live it a great feel to the pub. Had a music after with 2tone great time.

We have had good food here in the past but this visit was a disappointment. It started badly with quite a ride member of staff, just all wrong and not in keeping with the general friendly attitude here. Both our mains were poor and we left feeling it had spoilt the visit although we love the Spa!

OMG had chicken tikka takeaway rice and garlic nann absolutely the best . And service is wonderful Thank you so much the food is amazing best in Buntingford by far !!! 10/8/24.

Absolutely rubbish and very rude once I placed an order I have been told I made a mistake okay? Second time third time no extremely rude service and the food is not good at all shall not be using never ever again.

Came today for breakfast. Asked if we could have a table and told no as we hadn't booked and they were full. Whole pub and car park were empty. Not a single other person in there. Website states that bar tables are on a first come first served basis. We were definitely first to come but alas sent away without serving...

Sue was just incredible! The food is DELICIOUS, the pub itself is super quaint and even dog-friendly.....an absolute must and can't wait to return!

Just bought this pizza from TGF pizzas in camp Road St Albans 899 for 13 inch not bad at all give it a full star all round

Excellent food, but I only have the warm salad, which is beautiful, which you can add salmon too or other offerings

went today after they had promised they had amended their bad taste supposed Halloween decorations. Yes they are amended and are worse. Despite being education by a suicide prevention charity and so many people saying how upset the image had made them.. the upped the anti.. Now a noose is around the neck of a body bag.. I just cannot understand how a community pub cannot listen to the community it serves. Whilst they seem to have no understanding and there are many that don't have issue with this , to ignore all of those that have been very upset as well as the suicide presentation charity is irresponsible and immoral. Hanging bodybags are nothing to do with Halloween!

my son came for a visit so for a quick tasty lunch came her but before our meal we saat outdoors for a short while enjoying the sun for a and autumn colours before moving indoors for our lunch and I could not make any suggestions for improvement as the staff was friendly, the food good and the atmosphere pleasant

Food is pretty average but probably the most expensive peri peri original I've been to and they keep upping the prices. The prices they put on delivery apps are insane, definitely marked up significantly more than what the companies are charging. Super overpriced for some okay food.

Very nice pub. Never been there before. Well worth another visit.
