Peri Peri Original in St Albans

Very amazing service and food is very nice.

The peri peri chicken I know of and have been buying from elsewhere isn’t wat I got. The sauce was too watery and the chicken felt as though they just put them in the sauce and dished as it didn’t have the flavour I know it for. The fries however was on point.

The order was ready at the restaurant there was just no driver to deliver it so not the restaurants fault.

They decided to replace an item I had paid for, with something I didn't want. No regard for allergy requirements. It is not ok for someone to decide what I want or spend my money

Updated Review 26/12/21 I'm a regular for the Meal 4 Combo Wing and thigh& My nephew has the same with Leg and thigh. Juicy chicken chilli sauce and chips mmmm tasty. Fast service ring to collect ready within 10mins delivery 30/40 mins depends if they busy.

Food is pretty average but probably the most expensive peri peri original I've been to and they keep upping the prices. The prices they put on delivery apps are insane, definitely marked up significantly more than what the companies are charging. Super overpriced for some okay food.

The food is usually good, but this place does have a habit of missing out items. As you can imagine, it’s not fair when someone spends their hard earned money only for the food to be missing. Will for sure think twice before ordering next time.

Great place to eat if your hungry and in a rush, no messing about food is hot and fresh in under 10 minutes, fries ready to order and the peri peri seasoning is up there with one of the best in the country 👌🏼 Nice place to sit and eat and they are generous with the sauces when you eat inside, they have a toilet to wash up before you eat and provide utensils and napkins. This peri peri is the best flavourful peri peri I've ever had in the UK, I always end up going over and over absolutely amazing 👌🏼

I am extremely disappointed in the service from just eat driver/order service. I ordered at 6.18pm for a scheduled delivery and this came over an hour later than expected. My food did not come until 8.15. It’s Ramadan and I’m have been fasting waiting for my food. I am extremely frustrated to have had to wait this long for my food. Lose of appetite and waste of food. I ordered with adequate time. This is unacceptable as my family were left waiting. The food has been cooked and been left waiting for over an hour to be collected not the restaurant fault. But that is not what I expected my food to have been like.

Hooray! Peri Peri make food for the adults. I adore these grilled chicken peri peri burgers and wraps and think the heat level is perfect. A quick look round showa loads of people complaining its "too hot". Why on earth would anyone order food called "Extra hot" and then complain that it's hot? For crying out loud, what is wrong with some people? I regularly take my family to Peri Peri and am not irresponsible enough to feed them the "Extra hot one" just in case it ruins their day. But I sometimes have mine with extra sauce if I'm feeling cheeky although mostly it is perfect as served. The thing is a delight, the grilled chicken is soft and tasty and the sauce is lovely and tasty as well as having some kick, and at only grilled calories they are fine as lunch or even a snack. If you like spicy food you'll love this.

Third visit. It is not that big with only 5’ish tables inside. I think they mostly cater for take aways. Ordered meal with whole chicken, chicken fillets and 2 sides. Peri Peri chicken was nicely cooked. Wedges and Peri fries was plentiful and well cooked. Salad was fresh. The combo was good value for money. Much better vLue for money than Nandos. Will definitely be back.

Been here a few times now and foods been good every single time. Customer service is spot on and they are fairly quick (taking into consideration they can get busy)
