The best restaurants in St Albans East of England

Cliquey strange atmosphere. Been in several times and its like something from Royston Vasey with bar staff avoiding eye contact with anyone who walks in that they don’t recognise.

Love coming here to have lunch, the food is great and would happily recommend it :)

Big party for Lunch. We pre-booked the meals and the service was quick and excellent. Great play area for the younger kids (and bigger ones too). All in all we had a lovely visit and I would recommend.

All Costa have to do is follow the order instructions. Asked for 4 sugars in the bag and a large latte - received what is clearly a large filter coffee with 2 sugars. Having worked for Costa I know it’s quite easy

Great choice of beers and lively Saturday night crowd.

Don't know if there is new management, but does seem to have gone down hill a bit recently. Food was ok last time I went, but they never write you're order down, so they either repeat it back wrong, or deliver the wrong food to the table, because they didn't remember accurately what I asked for.

Stopped by for lunch today, beautiful decor, food was delicious, service was great. Our waitress Jackie went above and beyond to make sure we were happy (we really were) We will definitely be telling others about this gem!
