The best restaurants in St Albans East of England

Big party for Lunch. We pre-booked the meals and the service was quick and excellent. Great play area for the younger kids (and bigger ones too). All in all we had a lovely visit and I would recommend.

Well done to the young lady who is dealing with all the coffee making. But now it is 12 15 pm the tables, are disgusting cups water bottle crumbs accross the board it's actually very disgusting and loads of people are coming in and walking out I think alot of money is getting lost today, I wish I could publish the photos. I am pretty share you could look back on the security camera. Like I said the young lady who is making all coffee is trying

Rude staff and slow service. Proprietor became threatening, when I dared to complain. Codess on Victoria Street is a good alternative. Avoid!

Would not change the beer and closed early on Sunday

Went there to try something a bit different. Enjoyed a selection of tapas on a Saturday night. Food & service we excellent

First time using this restaurant for a takeaway. Delivered to Harpenden, on time, good tasty food with generous portions and not expensive. I will definitely use them again

Best chicken and chips in the world

This is a very pleasant wine bar. Good ambience, great service. However very expensive and we were charged a service charge of 12.5% on a £46 bottle of wine! Difficult to dispute in these intimate circumstances but inappropriate. We would have gladly poured our own wine!!

The oval cafe tucked away in a lovely corner its very beautiful but only 1/3 of the magic there a bunch of incredible places like the church which me and my school trip visited I would definitely recommend any other school to visit

This was the best fish and chips we’ve had in a long time. The fish was fresh and crispy, not overloaded with batter and not greasy, the chips were amazing. Very polite a lovely people, Thank you guys, you are awesome

Long time customer, the food is always fresh and tasty. There was a technical glitch with the online order I placed recently, but Jack the manager did everything he could to make it right. It's probably best to place orders via phone or in person, rather than online. Totally worth it, staff is great and the sushi is excellent. 5 stars. Will buy again.

We visited Bar Meze today and were very impressed! Can't recommend the falafel and dolmades enough, absolutely delicious. Very friendly service as well, will definitely return when we're back in St Albans
