We spent a few days in the area and ended up having brunch, cake and a takeaway roast dinner over the three days because the food and excellent service made us want to keep coming back. I would thoroughly recommend this lovely place as the menu has something for everyone and the staff were amazing.

Popped in around midday so there wasn’t much left. Scotch egg was nice and meaty although £4 was abit steep. Coffee £3 was a generic push button machine, zero flavour just milky so felt ripped off. The place was clean and tidy and the gentleman serving was friendly

My husband wrote the last review. So it’s my turn. We returned today for dinner. Again the food was amazing we had the same as we had before hunters chicken for myself, Norada burger for my husband. I would rate it higher than the five stars if I could. The staff are so helpful and are a credit to the business. We are back at the end of May. We will definitely be eating here again with you. Thanks again

Excellent pub. Good food which exceeded our expectations. Great service from the lady behind the bar. Let us order despite us cutting it fine near cut off time just before 2PM and even allowed us to add desert. Warm and welcoming with roaring log fire. Ideal if you are visiting Hickling Broad nature reserve at the end of the road. We look forward to going back in the future.

Stopped on the way back from the coast and fancied some plain wholesome food. We had hot dogs between us and we were very happy. Nice flavour sausages and packed into a toasted soft roll with onions. The lady that served us was very friendly, chatty and I noticed she was very familiar with some of the locals she was serving and knew their names and orders the second they arrived. If you're looking for just the good ol' plain hotplate burgers and hotdogs then this is it.

Absolutely fantastic pub. We have been on the Broads (North and South) for about 10 days now and the pubs have been really disappointing, no music, gentrified, restaurant like not pub like etc. The King's Arms was the opposite of all of that. Proper pub atmosphere , music from a jukebox, a separate restaurant if you're feeling formal, friendly staff, good beer, it made my day. We also ate and the food continued the high standards. I had a pizza and it was the most loaded pizza i have ever had and tasted great. They also do a carvery weds and Sundays but we mis-timed that as I'm guessing that's also going to be top quality. Garden front and back. Can't say enough good things about this place. It has restored my faith that there are still pubs out there that are a joy to be in. I complimented the landlady who was very appreciative. We are going to moor in Ludham again later this week so that we can return here. Well done all involved.

Having chose a what I thought was a safe bet my partner ordered me a ploughman's which turned out something far from satisfactory, the two pieces of bread were stale and the cheese grated and not a whole piece as normal and three pickled onions. Total rubbish and casting £10 never again.

Food was nice, we stopped for lunch. Had Jacket potato which was nice. Ordered a tuna baguette with extra chips. Received a tuna sandwich with no chips. Chased the chips, still didn't come out. Went back to get chips refunded but only 1 staff serving. Gave up waiting and thought I'd let the £1 go. But a member of staff then did come over and ask if we were OK and went and refunded them which was nice of her.
