Popped in for a Sunday roast, beef and turkey roast dinners. Absolutely gorgeous, very tasty and good value for money. Exceptional pudding after as well

Whist staying in the area we have visited twice, once for a main meal and the next for coffee and cake. It is a fantastic place to visit, staff very friendly and helpful. The main meal was great something for all of us and the coffee and cake was delicious the portion sizes are massive. Definitely worth a visit.

Went every day on our hols and every member of staff who served us were a total delight ,sat in the dog house with lexi and the food was top notch see you next year

Come to this cafe everytime in Norfolk,5th visit this year, been plenty more times over the years. Very good choice of food and cakes at very reasonable prices. Very clean and friendly staff, can get very busy but worth the wait for a table, they also do takeaway.

When you are looking for a breakfast stop this little tea room is a must. A delicious full English breakfast. All washed down with a large hot chocolate. For those that need Gluten Free, there is a GF breakfast and a separate GF menu.

We moored at Potter Heigham and wandered over the bridge and found this lovely place. A warm welcome the staff were very friendly and attentive. A good choice of homemade cakes which were lovely although large portions. Well worth a visit, they have an extensive menu and all the food looked lovely.

The food was on point, the staff were so friendly and the experience was amazing. We are here as a family for an early breakfast before a boat ride. The selection of homemade food was incredible. We visited with 3 children and a baby and were welcomed with the staff being really friendly with the kids. A must visit and we have found our new Sunday morning spot.

Wow a small and large fish n chips The small was larger than the plate and surprised my wife. Really hot and freshly cooked with beautiful batter

What a lovely restaurant. We visit every time we are on the broads or holidaying in the area. From the friendly welcome you get when you walk through the door right up until the second you leave. This is the second time we have had a cream tea. The first time a couple of years ago in the restaurant, this time as a takeaway to take on a day boat. (The chocolate covered strawberries are heavenly) What can I say?! Absolutely fantastic food. Very generous portions that will keep you going all day. Tasted delicious and looked wonderful. Their cakes are something else again, a cake lovers paradise. If you are in the area I highly recommend you pop in for a cuppa and a cake, or maybe lunch. All their food is really good. We stayed in the boat yard opposite and visited often throughout the week. Well done Bridge Stones! Excellent service, amazing food and a welcoming environment. We thought we had missed lunch,but to find this wonderful welcoming place open and busy was perfect . Having a large dog with us was no problem as we were shown The dog house . A tucked away side room where our Fern enjoyed the company of two other dogs . We all had haddock and chips. The fish was a large potion with the most delicious light batter & perfectly cooked . The puddings and cakes looked fab but our we were full from the generous portions . Note to self - perfect detour from our base in BACTON . Great service as we popped into the main cafe to compliment on the food and service . We will certainly recommend to others

Absolutely terrible food, the toasted sandwich was dry & had no colour to it what so ever, I’m not sure the bread had even been toasted at all, no filling, we were very disappointing indeed, the chef was picking up food with his bare hands & wiping sides of plates containing food going out to customers with a dirty oven. I messaged Bridgestones twice with my concerns regarding the food we had ordered that day hoping to get a response from them but they just completely ignored both my messages, I have been in the catering trade all of my life so I am well aware of standards etc & astonished to see this establishment has a 5 star rating, I will leave it at that!!.

Always make a point of visiting bridge stones when in potter heigham or any where near lovely atmosphere very kind friendly staff imaculate toilets food is the best around give them a try you will not be dissappointed

My husband and I come here every year for Christmas lunch we generally bring our grown up children and their partners, but they couldn’t make it this year We had a very good Christmas lunch I had Turkey and my husband had Beef the portion was very good plenty of meat presented in a large Yorkshire pudding accompanied with roast potatoes, roast parsnips, sprouts, carrots, peas and pigs in blankets, there was gravy on our plates but we asked for an extra jug and they were happy to oblige. The food was nice and hot and the table decorated with Christmas crackers, and the decorations in the cafe were beautifully done, we couldn’t manage pudding but we did take some delicious cake from the cabinet home. Definitely will be coming back here in the new Year congratulations James and your team 10/10

We travelled from King’s Lynn to Winterton on Sea to visit friends . Having had some good meals at Bridge Stones over the last 5 years we decided to take our Friends who had never been . One had Breakfast then three of us had the over 60s Specials @ £9.95 each two cod & chips I had seen bigger fish fingers very disappointed. And the Scampi well more like a child’s portion . Will never have an over 60s meal Again here . Would far sooner pay the £13.50 for standard cod & chips absolute rip off . We needed a desert as still hungry . My friend had one small bottle of Larger only 330 ml @ £5.50 !! Another rip off . For that I would have expect a 500 ml bottle / can . The Service was abysmal no one seemed to know what the other waitresses was doing ! Yes they was busy it was 1.15 pm . But no Excuse . No one said did you have a nice meal was everything Ok . We done a 140 mile round trip to visit Bridge Stones ! Won’t be doing that again Fishers at Hunstanton knocks Bridge Stones into a Tin Hat !!

Nice clean restaurant with a friendly warm welcome. Service was prompt and friendly too. Quite an extensive menu. We both had a Sunday Roast (me beef and my wife the chicken), with the normal trimmings and selection of sauces. Oh and a pot of tea which was just right. Food was well cooked and plentiful, especially the half a chicken !!, so no complaints. Only areas giving food for thought was that, given the size of the portions, the plates could be bigger. Secondly, and I don't know how you would resolve this, the cold draft that comes through the door when open was off putting. Mind you that could be helped by some people having the common sense to move inside and close it !!

Taken here for a surprise on my 60th birthday by my friend and daughter . Had afternoon tea which was absolutely delicious and plentiful, so much so we had to take some home . Staff were lovely and made sure the teapot was topped up . Would highly recommend and will be back to try the main menu .

We stopped for lunch as a family of five including two mobility impaired older folk. The staff couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating, even though the place was busy. And we soon found out why it was busy, as the food was truly excellent - honest British dishes like fish and chips and a steak and Stilton pie all done to perfection. Great service and a great atmosphere. We'll be back any time we're in the area!

We spent a lovely week on the Norfolk Broads, for the sixth time, and we always spend a day in Potter Heigham so we can visit BridgeStones for a lovely meal and a cake from their selection of delicious treats. We’ve never been disappointed. Now we’re about to make our way home to Kent, we’re here again, and will be back in 2024

Visited today following a recommendation. We brought Teddy the golden retriever along and sat outside, had a look at the menu and cakes and the process was very smooth and food and drinks were ready within 10 mins. Cakes were delicious and the Latte was as nice. Highly recommend

Quite an exceptional brunch experience. The food is cooked perfectly and the staff are warm and friendly.

We stopped over for a coffee after a visit to potter heigham and after seeing the menu we booked ourselves in for an afternoon tea the following day. The service, food and setting were superb. We treated ourselves to a bottle of prosecco as well which finished the whole afternoon off so well. Will definitely do the same again. Well recommended.

Excellent service and food . Served with a smile and was piping hot. Husband had the all day breakfast it looked delicious and presented nicely. I had the double toasted cheese,ham and pineapple toastie it was delicious sorry when I’d finished it.

We hadn't pre booked as required and arrived before 2.30 when they serve afternoon tea. We kindly asked if it was possible to get afternoon tea for two. WOW!!! They pulled out all the stops and within about 15 minutes delivered to our table the most abundant of feasts!! Sandwiches of our choosing, salad,coleslaw, crisps, cheese scones, fruit scones, jam, cream, chutney, the most delicious strawberries dipped in chocolate, grapes and beautiful sponge cake, Apple & cinnamon. Well we had to take some of it with us because we couldn't eat it all!! Amazing tea along with great service, all the staff look busy & happy, what a great place. All the food that was being served around us looked delicious!! We'll definitely be back!!
