The best restaurants in Westgate Ipswich East of England

I just wanted to write a review to say thank you, you were very friendly and helpful when my daughter wouldn’t sit near the kitchen as she’s scared of fire. You made us feel very welcome, the staff are brilliant and so friendly as was all the other customers in there too. We found it by accident and found out from other customers it is part of the church, such a friendly and warm welcoming place which was a nice surprise when we only called in for a cup of tea on the way to the town from the park.

We booked the Arbor for an 80th birthday celebration for around 30 people in their upstairs room recently, with a buffet menu. The arrangements went really well before the event and Georgie was really helpful. They took the cake in on the day, and put up the bunting and banner before we arrived. During the event they were attentive and kept the bottles of wine and water etc topped up. The food was excellent and perfect for the occasion. The cost was very reasonable for the food and drinks prices. Nothing was too much trouble. The room was large enough to accommodate us comfortably but was nice and cosy at the same time. Thanks very much! 🙂🙂

Each element of each dish is extremely unique and has great traditional taste. I would highly recommend. Best Turkish food in Ipswich. In matter of fact, best in the UK.

We come here every time we visit Norwich. Greg is such a great dude. The team that work there are also amazing. Massive thanks to the team yesterday and Ashleigh for some lovely insightful conversations. Also, drinks are obviously incredible. Almost makes you wish for a nucular winter 😉

We were recommended by a friend and it turned out to be an amazing surprise. Food was delicious and fresh. Great turkish breakfast.

Fantastic coffee the best around.

Ordered for the first time yesterday, ordered £65 worth of stuff for me and one other as I wasn't sure how much I'd be getting. Discount brought it down by about £15. Ended up having enough for the next day, and we weren't complaining! The food tasted amazing, it's literally just like the photos, it's all packaged so nicely, it was delivered promptly, did I mention the amazing flavour? Will *definitely* be ordering again!

Food was late and at best Luke warm and items missing! Was told chef was very busy but could send out cold starters? Or £15 refund we spent £ 170. For 8 people the chip portion s was half the size of what we normally get and was told they had run out

It's a very lovely place lots of funny characters and a great atmosphere. They don't do food.

Old ale is back on - meals freshly cooked - tastes amazing - staff are the friendliest people you will ever meet…what more do you want in a Public house.
