I just wanted to write a review to say thank you, you were very friendly and helpful when my daughter wouldn’t sit near the kitchen as she’s scared of fire. You made us feel very welcome, the staff are brilliant and so friendly as was all the other customers in there too. We found it by accident and found out from other customers it is part of the church, such a friendly and warm welcoming place which was a nice surprise when we only called in for a cup of tea on the way to the town from the park.

I have now visited three times and not been disappointed. Roast Beef with all the veg first time - Full English Breakfast the second time and today Cheese and Ham Quiche with new potatoes and salad followed by Black Forest Gateaux with vanilla ice cream. The best Quiche I have ever had! The staff can't do enough to help and there are many regular customers. With its own car park at the back and the magnificent 82 acre Christchurch Park just round the this is an excellent venue. Open Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.

My first visit to this cafe and it will be my first port of call for every visit to Ipswich. Large free car park for customers using the cafe and then shopping in town. Amazing. My bacon sandwich and coffee was superb and the cafe menu was sufficient for this cafe. Every thing was freshly made and to see the cakes being made was a treat in itself. The large space inside made good distancing between tables and the COVID safety checks were faultless. I felt very reassured that this would be a good place to eat. The opening time is now 8.30am and a good place to stop for a coffee before work. Closing time is 2.30 pm. Us oldies remember this place as the Running Buck which should help locate the cafe if you haven’t visited before. This is the place to come. Hope you enjoy your visit as much as I did. The staff were lovely with all food served at your table.

I went here with my husband last week and had tea and delicious apple and cinnamon cake. The staff and volunteers are lovely and the Covid precautions are excellent. Tables are really clean - signing in is perfect either written or with the app and it is just a lovely peaceful atmosphere for enjoying a break whilst in Ipswich shopping. Thank you for making it such a pleasure. Will be visiting again.

Had a lovely full English Breakfast, and lunches here, although this site says coffee shop, it is so much more. A different dish of the day daily with vegetarian option so cannot recommend a particular dish but I have not had a bad one. They also serve snack foods here. I recommend this for a low price good quality meal with free parking (Bonus) but it is only open Wed, Thurs and Fridays.

Pleased to find this open at 10 am on the day we visited and enjoyed our drinks (tea and coffee) and superb cheese scones. Though attached to a Baptist church there is nothing "in your face" and based on some language I overheard everyone is very welcome. Limited opening times so possibly only later in the week is the best time to visit.

A really charming place for a break in busy Ipswich. The food is fresh, the staff friendly and polite. As a lunch stop it is great. Enjoyed Turkey for lunch. Seasonal but fresh, hot and not expensive. What more do you need.

Excellent place for a meal or snack and very reasonable. Buggy friendly although it can get really hot inside the building.

Perfect sandwich shop. Fit for Notting hill. Great coffee used, great menu. Flowing with Italian roots but really has a sandwich for everyone! Under £7 for a luxury sandwich is not far off subway, but
