piping hot food really good quality

The food was inedible. Had battered sausage and chips, but the battery on the sausage wasn't crispy like normal batter, but was kind of soggy and chewy. The chips tasted undercooked. We couldn't eat it so had to throw it away. We will not be returning.

First time ordering from Millers. The cod and Boneless Chicken were excellent and chips were top quality nice and chunky. will definitely be ordering again in future.

Cold chips and soggy batter on the fish that ripped off with the paper whilst unwrapping the food. Nearly 19 quid for that! Was the first time I ordered from then and will definitely be the last!

curry sauce was missing from order phoned them up very polite apologised said they send one ....Still waiting 1hr 30mins

I would give 0 stars if I could, ordered on their website and nothing arrived, phoned up and was told if by any chance I ordered through “order yo-yo” which was the only option on their website. Was then told that they don’t use that anymore so I’d have to phone back up and order that way while also ringing order yo-yo for a refund. Great place if you like ordering and having nothing turn up :)

Have found that although they are a bit more expensive than others, they are worth it.

Highly recommended… if you want a good burger then the meat lovers 1/2 pounder is bang on. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Closed early for no reason other than trying to get home early! Store was completely clean and grills shut down. They advertise they close at 10pm on a Saturday, but the shop is closed and cleaned at 9:50pm! They even locked the door at 9:55pm. If you advertise you close at 10pm, close at 10pm. I won’t be returning. Poor customer service and a wasted journey.

Best fish and chips in Suffolk. We went back to Millers on Saturday 31st August 2024, I had the OAP 's fish and chips ( still the best in East Anglia) cost £5.50. My husband had a kebab which he said was delicious too cost £7.20, but it was such a big portion he took some back home and had it for tea.

I’ve ordered about 4-5 times from this place and each time my order has been wrong, either items not being delivered or when they are they’re wrong, I’m going to find somewhere else.

The best all round fish and chips I've had in years and staff were very polite. I would recommend this shop to everyone. 5 star.

Ordered a first ever delivery and won't be eating from there again. Yes it arrived on time and was hot. But the chips were soft, the batter had no crunch and the so called saveloy, dont bother!

Ordered as soon as shop opened. Nothing has arrived. Telephoned the shop after an hour abd a half and was told the driver had 'just left'. Still nothing has arrived and shop is now shut two hours later.

So so disappointed. Supposedly a well known gluten free cafe but they don’t even do GF battered fish. The service was abrupt even though we were the only customers. The fish was rubbery and the chips were greasy over cooked and dry. We left approximately 80% of the meal. A really bad experience.

First time was 18 05 then at 18.20 i ring restaurant then time change then get food at 18.31 and it was so cold went straight into the bin not worth eating so much money to waste for a disabled person to lose thanks

fish cakes were hard chips where cold and they dinted bring my curry sause or peas what a let down wont be returning

Ordered a takeaway. Food was cooked to perfection, really hot even though it had a 10-15 minute journey. Very generous portion sizes. Great service and will definitely be coming back

Had a look at the menu on their website before going to see what my options looked like - everything was really expensive, except a “battered burger” which was only £2.80. The photo on the website genuinely looked quite nice (attached) and ofc I knew it wouldn’t look as perfect like a stock image when I got it, but it turns out the reason it’s so cheap is because what they gave me was actually just literally two deep fried beef patties (I wish I had thought of taking a picture at the time but I was so genuinely taken aback and disgusted that I just chucked it in the bin). The outside was soggy, and the inside was poor quality. On top of this I ordered a cheesy chips which was supposed to cost £5.20 according to the website (frankly a ridiculous price for a medium cheesy chips) and by the time I’d got home all the cheese had stuck to the paper due to the way they’d wrapped the food - it didn’t come in boxes but instead it was just on a little paper tray and wrapped in paper. And to top it all off, the prices in store were different to the ones online - online it would supposedly come out to £8, looking at the menu inside the store it should have come out to just under £8, but for some reason the guy told me it was £10.30, ended up charging me £10.60, and never gave me a receipt. My review was originally a two star but after writing this all out and reliving it, I will say nothing more than: I definitely would not recommend.

ordered 2 chicken kebabs & got 2 shish instead, asked for a medium on both, wasn't much compared to previous orders.

AVOID ! ! ! I've thrown away the food after tasting it. Rubbish food, full of oil, old and bland. God knows when they've changed the oil last time. And to top it off, no manners and rubbish attitude as theirs food.

The food arrived later than planned, the curry sauce was too thick and could not eat it, no fritters with our order. We do use these a lot, disappointed on this occasion. The driver did say they were rather busy.

the rock eel had the skin left on....the fish cake was stale....the potatoes used for the chips were old as they were brown....will not be ordering from here again...which is a shmae as normally great food

Food was really quite poor in all honesty. Soggy and slimy battered halloumi. Cold chips, bun was so stale even toasted and buttered it was dry and falling apart. And the vegetarian nuggets were foul tasting, soggy inside and burnt outside. What a waste of money. Order placed 90 mins in advance and we're still 20 minutes late.

The batter on the cod had gone soggy when it arrived but the fish itself was really good. Chips were pretty spot on and the doner meat was really tasty. Food also arrive really early which was nice

I preordered my meal before lunchtime and the restaurant confirmed order. Since then I believe the bridge is now closed so traffic is gridlocked but if they knew this before my order was due they should of cancelled the order and my family would not have wasted an hour waiting for food that has still not arrived. No food to review.

Food is much better than I've had previously had here ..a little confused about the curry pancake roll was no curry inside just a beg roll and side of sauce .but all was very tasty .

Food was ok, however the service was awful. It felt as if I was frowned upon because I had bought a 'Top Good To Go' bag, and the staff had no manners whatsoever.

Cod was beautiful as was the sausages and doner meat. Chips could have been better. Were quite hard and dry.

We ordered last night for the first time. I was impressed how quick they delivered our food via Just Eat. Their Cod's delicious, crispy from the outside and juicy on inside. My son liked their battered sausage as well. We all enjoyed the food. They even gave us free fish bites. Thank you. Definitely will recommend!

Thumbs up for the staff as they were friendly. But the meal we had wasn’t the best, some chips were only partially cooked and tasted unpleasant. But - it may have been a one off. I won’t go back though.

Vile response from staff, small portion if not local pick up. I was a regular until I moved now I am extremely disappointed in the service and rudeness of staff

Really disappointed with the food tonight. Chips where clearly reheated and dry. The sausages where cheap and mushy. Cod was ok. Iv been there few times over the years and its always been good but tonite was a real let down. It was 9.30pm near closing time but still no excuse. Updated after looking at there reviews we where not the only ones who have had horrible food from millers also noticed that they never ever reply to peoples google reviews. Old people who had the buisness a few years ago cared and looked after there customers. Lets see if i get a reply but dont hold my breath

I normally steer clear of foreign owned fish and chip shops. And this one is a few hundred yards from me, so have never used it. It's nothing to do with nationality, just they never seem to get the concept. The oil has to be right the fish, the choice of potato type,etc etc. But wow! This place has it down pat .just had medium cod two scallops and a gherkin.( Hard to tell medium from large cod) I always put my oven on to freshen up the fish when I get in. And have to say after 5 to ten minutes crispy up this was the best fish and chips I have had in many years.And at a competitive price to boot. Will not hesitate to recommend. I have to edit this review one year later, Todays visit was disappointing ordered a large cod and scallops as usual. Received a medium cod and stale scallops. A shame as this shop is now just "ok" like many more in Ipswich, the food was as I say "ok" and the portions no longer generous and no longer of a quality to make it worthwhile using above many others. For the owner there is a valuable retail lesson to be learned here, better to make a small profit from a customer returning a hundred times than to make a large profit twice from the same customer.

Nice food. Chicken shish was lovely and served nicely with salad and bread separate. I only took a star as the chilli sauce was a let down for me. Wouldn't stop me ordering again but I'd like more heat in it.

I am gluten free so Ican't have much off the standard menu but they are always very helpful.

Food is always good but depending on times and I'm assuming wether they are busy or not food can be a little stale. When it's fresh it is delicious.

Ordered through 'Too good to waste' and didn't realise I had to bring to l the same device as I ordered on, after I died the problem they kept telling me I was still wrong even though I couldn't do anything else then after he realised he was wrong gave up, told me to leave and never come back. Terrible service which is a disappointment in comparison to the food, won't be returning.
