Chips are pricey for portion size. Fish cooked to order, always lovely. Jumbo sausage and chips under £5

Food was ok, however the service was awful. It felt as if I was frowned upon because I had bought a 'Top Good To Go' bag, and the staff had no manners whatsoever.

Absolutely love the 1/2lb burger, ever since Ive discovered it, I have had to buy it each time. Burger chains need to take notes, Millers' burger is so much better!

We ordered last night for the first time. I was impressed how quick they delivered our food via Just Eat. Their Cod's delicious, crispy from the outside and juicy on inside. My son liked their battered sausage as well. We all enjoyed the food. They even gave us free fish bites. Thank you. Definitely will recommend!

Thumbs up for the staff as they were friendly. But the meal we had wasn’t the best, some chips were only partially cooked and tasted unpleasant. But - it may have been a one off. I won’t go back though.

Vile response from staff, small portion if not local pick up. I was a regular until I moved now I am extremely disappointed in the service and rudeness of staff

Really disappointed with the food tonight. Chips where clearly reheated and dry. The sausages where cheap and mushy. Cod was ok. Iv been there few times over the years and its always been good but tonite was a real let down. It was 9.30pm near closing time but still no excuse. Updated after looking at there reviews we where not the only ones who have had horrible food from millers also noticed that they never ever reply to peoples google reviews. Old people who had the buisness a few years ago cared and looked after there customers. Lets see if i get a reply but dont hold my breath

I normally steer clear of foreign owned fish and chip shops. And this one is a few hundred yards from me, so have never used it. It's nothing to do with nationality, just they never seem to get the concept. The oil has to be right the fish, the choice of potato type,etc etc. But wow! This place has it down pat .just had medium cod two scallops and a gherkin.( Hard to tell medium from large cod) I always put my oven on to freshen up the fish when I get in. And have to say after 5 to ten minutes crispy up this was the best fish and chips I have had in many years.And at a competitive price to boot. Will not hesitate to recommend. I have to edit this review one year later, Todays visit was disappointing ordered a large cod and scallops as usual. Received a medium cod and stale scallops. A shame as this shop is now just "ok" like many more in Ipswich, the food was as I say "ok" and the portions no longer generous and no longer of a quality to make it worthwhile using above many others. For the owner there is a valuable retail lesson to be learned here, better to make a small profit from a customer returning a hundred times than to make a large profit twice from the same customer.

Nice food. Chicken shish was lovely and served nicely with salad and bread separate. I only took a star as the chilli sauce was a let down for me. Wouldn't stop me ordering again but I'd like more heat in it.

I am gluten free so Ican't have much off the standard menu but they are always very helpful.

Food is always good but depending on times and I'm assuming wether they are busy or not food can be a little stale. When it's fresh it is delicious.

Ordered through 'Too good to waste' and didn't realise I had to bring to l the same device as I ordered on, after I died the problem they kept telling me I was still wrong even though I couldn't do anything else then after he realised he was wrong gave up, told me to leave and never come back. Terrible service which is a disappointment in comparison to the food, won't be returning.

Fish and chips ordered. A superb large haddock was served and a big portion of triple fried hand cut chips. Very tasty and high quality.

What a let down. Have had a delivery from miller's before but tonight it's was a let down. Fish was dry. Chips where raw inside. Sausage was like it had been sitting there all day . Such a let down. Won't be ordering again from them Wasn't worth the 43.00 I spent on them

The most awful fish & chips I have tasted. Cod had an unfresh taste to it, while the chips were also unpleasent. I paid £9.00 for a poor quality take away. Location of the shop is not the best either.

Not the greatest to order from if you're vegetarian, ordered several times via their site and not one have they separated the fish ordered for someone else, it's always everything in one wrap, no matter what has been ordered. I've even specially requested things separate on a previous order, still ended up like this. You shouldn't have to specially request this in the first place.

It was the Best Fish & Chips I have ever had in my whole life. And also, portions are really huge. I strongly recommend.

Ordered a too good to go bag and less than 10 mins notice of cancellation although they had sold others around 30 mins before collection. Clearly closed when I arrived dodgy males outside. One to avoid Disappointing

Perfect fish, chips and kebab options everytime. Friendly and generous staff always up for a chat. Parking access can be an issue given location but happy to walk for the quality.

Freshly prepared, fresh oil, drained well so that the food wasn't greasy. Reasonable prices considering the increase in food prices, etc

Delicious Cod & Chips. The batter was light and fluffy, the Cod was fresh :-) Chips above average and friendly staff.

The freshness of the fish and quality of the food is just amazing at this very traditional chip shop. Not greasy cooked with fresh oil, piping hot and the curry sauce and peas just perfect too. Staff were very friendly and helpful .The whole place is immaculately clean. Well worth a visit!

Be careful not to ask for an extra skewer of meat. £6.80 for a single skewer kebab, £8.30 for a double skewer kebab. I asked for an extra skewer (which isn’t on the menu) and I was charged £4.50 for that single skewer! I raised at and the older Turkish guy started shouting and getting angry, in front of all the other customers. I’ll never go there again. Terrible behaviour from the owner and disgusting policy to charge £4.50 for an extra skewer. Avoid!

Whatever you do DON’T order an extra skewer of meat on top of a large kebab. £6.80 small kebab 1 skewer; £8.30 large kebab 2 skewers. I asked for an extra skewer of meat and they charged me £4.50 for it! £12.80 in total. Manager became irate when challenged. Shouting at me, telling me he didn’t want me to come in again. I feel sorry for his wife and sons. The man has clear anger issues. Avoid!

The order was incorrect. My mates have what they have ordered but I ended up without my dinner...

Hard to find good chip shop nowadays but I was happily suprised that the chips here were lovely as was the battered sausage & lovely crispy (unhealthy) scraps 😁

Ordered last nigt , i got meat and chips - the chips were soggy and the meat was cold- i waited 1 and half for delivery when it said 45min's and if that wasn't bad enough... I've been stuck on the toilet since 3am.. absolutely rank avoid at all costs

Normally enjoy fish and chips from here but awful experience yesterday! An hour after ordering I phoned the restaurant and spoke to the rudest lady. Basically telling me the driver had been knocking at the flat and that they also called my mobile. No missed calls and when I told her that no one had buzzed she basically made out I was lying! I then spoke to the manager who was also rude but not as bad as her! When the delivery finally came the driver was standing outside the wrong block of flats so he infact hadn't been knocking on our flat so I was right. I was so upset because of how I was spoken to that the driver apologised and offered to bring me my money back today. As expected no refund! Will never order from this place again! 👎👎👎👎

Called into Millers (not really expecting much to be honest),. We needed a quick lunch as running late and still had shopping to do in Lidl opposite! WOW - the best Fish & Chips we have had in a very long time. Freshly cooked, everything perfect - a real treat. We highly recommend and intend making Millers a regular stop off from now on. Excellent.

The best chips ever had, beautifully soft inside little crunch and notably not fatty as some hubby enjoyed his saveloys, unfortunately I didn't enjoy the spring rolls, bit too doughy in the middle, however chips were amazing and wonderful tasty curry sauce. Will be returning to try the fish.

The BEST for miles around. After disgusting soggy fish from a reputable Chantry shop we tried Millers. Total reverse superbly cooked crispy batter generous portion of well cooked chips 6 stars out of 5 Give it a try you Won't go elsewhere

Delicious Fish n Chips, loved it

Ordered food through uber eats got the wrong food delivered and after calling the restaurant was told it wasn't there problem which is understandable but no sympathy and constant sarcastic tone and eventually hung up on after trying to sort out with them how to get our actual food delivered. Will not be using them again if they are not decent enough to try and sort it out after having paid 25 pounds for food we did not receive instead getting someone else's order and therefore I presume ruining there evening aswell.

Best chippy around. Scallops ate amazing and so is the curry. Wish I'd never found it as its not helping my diet 😕

Worst chippy in Ipswich, sent me the plainest blandest burger for £7 - why say it comes with cheese, sauce and salad then send it dry as the Sahara? Disappointing!

Second time we've been here. Lovely good, very friendly service, good prep/collection time. The food is great quality and was freshly prepared while I waited.

Been here before and pleased with food. Went last week and got some chips. When I got home discovered they were burnt and inedible. Complete waste of £2.90

For no other reason than that we were hungry and the shop was just across the road from where we had parked, we went into this shop. We had to wait for our meals to be cooked, no problem, and the piping hot fish and chips eaten out of the paper were superb. Some of the best take away fish and chips I've tasted for a long while. People who live nearby are spoilt. You've got an excellent fish and chip shop.

Im often wary of kebab shops that serve fish & chips, seldom are they good but Millers is truly the exception. I had burger and chips and both were delicious! The chips are proper chips (not fries) and are hot and fresh as was the burger. The two guys serving are friendly and personable. Im often sent to Ipswich for work and have been looking fir a chippy to frequent with my colleague - and you guys at Millers have yourselves 2 new regulars!
