The best restaurants in Great Yarmouth East of England

Just picked up a bacon sandwich to take home with me. What a glorious sandwich, just the right amount of bacon and brown sauce. It is even in a heat retaining bag. My first visit but certainly not my last.

Waited two hours for main meal, due to lack of staff and very loud groups of people ruined evening, food was ok on arrival over priced

I placed an order like I always do, I have had teething problems before from here like missing chips or missing a pot of salad. And have always let it go because we all make mistakes plus by the time I have explained to them missing chips, I would have eaten with my family so no point. However tonight was just awful, I’m usually not one to complain but I want to warn others of such poor quality in the food. I have provided photos to show. The pizza was burnt £12 for that!! And a kebab a large special £12 pita rock hard and no salad either. I definitely will never buy from here again. I would be embarrassed giving that out to customers.

Long waiting time, the burger is only a bun and meat, there should have been some vegetables, e.g. lettuce, cucumber, good quality meat but dry burger, the service was not very nice, he only spoke to English speakers

Was this place alive with atmosphere? Not at all with one couple dining in and myself waiting for my food, however... I did not come in for the atmosphere I wanted good food and quickly. I was very pleased with my meal and have to say that despite other reviews, mine was nice, cooked well, did not want long, but I did order in advance on the Uber Eats site. There was parking just outside, which was handy. I did like it and would go again.

Just had a cheeseburger from my regular takeaway and it was spot on—juicy, tasty, and perfectly cooked. Staff were friendly both over the phone and at pick-up. They told me it would be ready in 10 minutes, and it was bang on time. Great service and great food. I’ll definitely be ordering again! Added a photo so you can see how good it looked too.

Missing portion of fries, the one that turned up was barely warm... Everything else was hot.

I have never waited so long to be served a coffee, the service was so slow and the staff so miserable. I would suggest if you are that unhappy to be at work perhaps a career change?. Was going to get something to eat but after waiting 30 mins for a cup of tea I hate to think how much longer I would have to wait. Perhaps I should have ordered food then walk to India to get the tea and it might be ready! The worst cafe I have ever been too!. Oh and just to make it even better if you have a food intolerance don't bother either as apparently according to the staff they do not deal with that!

Decent chinese, not the worst, but by far not the best. Food ordered online, pricey at that, compared to other local resturants. Then you place the order, and food hasnt arrived within an hour. Phone call to the resturant, and they are polite, but surprise, the food is now on the way. Food arrives and is decent, but the wait time is not the best.

Staff are very friendly and quickly helped us join the club as new members. Bingo is very good and the hall is modern and spacious. Bingo is cheep and the £1.50 lunch deal before 12pm offered fantastic value with a great Sunday dinner. Overall excellent.

Having had some really good experiences with Chinese Buffet, we thought we'd give this one a try but quickly regretted it. There was very little choice in dishes, the food that was there looked and tasted like it had been sitting around for too long. There was one choice in desserts which was a bit of stale swiss role and the drinks were insanely priced. The place felt grubby and unloved. One of the kitchen staff wasn't very pleasant to us when I asked her if she could top up the food but she's probably used to people complaining. The young waitress appeared embarrassed, not surprisingly... I really did feel sorry for her. We would never recommend this place. They shouldn't' be running this business.

Used to be great but now pricey and batter on the fish is nasty!! All soggy and wet on the inside. What ever happened to crispy golden batter! The cod is sliced as thin as possible and slapped in thick stodgy batter… and bloody expensive!!

Our order was a medium all day breakfast and a fruit scone. We waited over an hour for our food which was all microwaved. Neither of us were able to eat our food, the scone which was microwaved arrived on a plate that was swimming with water. The bottom was soggy and the top was chewy like a rubber band, completely inedible. The breakfast was microwaved to death, apart from the egg and fried bread. Egg was undercooked and there was fat pouring out of the fried slice. Worst food we've had in a long time. Save your time and money and go elsewhere.
