Used to be great but now pricey and batter on the fish is nasty!! All soggy and wet on the inside. What ever happened to crispy golden batter! The cod is sliced as thin as possible and slapped in thick stodgy batter… and bloody expensive!!

Disgusting service , rude staff behind counter expecially young girl taking order!! , staff need to be more customer service trained & not like your an inconvenience for wanting to place an order! 2 small sausage & chips with curry sauce , 2 large sausage & chips (what was very small) with mushy peas , 2 bottles of coke was £39.00 with the service charge and charge for sitting outside! Disgusting would not recommend to anyone! Rude rip off ars****

Very bad service. Cold chips. Staff looked bored and I felt an inconvenience. Small portions and over priced. Would never return or recommend it to anyone

Visited this chip shop in Great Yarmouth , we had been here before and as it was very nice we decided to eat here again as we could sit outside with our dog . When we finally got to be served we was being served at the till by a young member of staff , who was clearly learning and there was an older lady who I assumed was the owner instructing her , but not in a nice way bordering on almost bully like . We then received the two portions of fish and chips and a drink and the bill was almost £30 , expensive I think . To top it off they add an extra 10 per cent for sitting on the table and chairs OUTSIDE , no table service , just to sit there . To be fair the food was ok

Been going to this chip shop for over 10 years and have always rated it the best in Yarmouth, but this time was awful. Order fish and chips x2 and chips with curry sauce. It was expensive at just over £26.00 we went for takeaway so didn't see until back at caravan, small portion of chips the fish was mainly batter which was hard, I've had more fish on a fish finger then what was inside the batter on the fish. Definitely won't be going there again. Really Disappointed this time

Some of the best chips I have ever had! Battered sausages were also fantastic as was the fish. We came back a second day after eating some outside the day before and sat inside in our return. Restaurant was spotless and staff were very friendly. Highly recommend.

Small takeaway restaurants with an eat in area attached. We stopped for lunch on Bank Holiday Monday. They were very busy but very well organised and we were served quickly. We paid a 10% surcharge for eating in, but had no problem with that, they provided knives, forks and napkins with clean tables and chairs, and there was an eat in or out option. There were a couple of staff members cleaning and tidying constantly, they were also very polite, friendly and helpful. The fish and chips were not cheap, but due to the location that’s to be expected. Fish was fresh and skinned in a crispy batter that wasn’t overly greasy and the chips were good.

I was overcharged at the wet fish shop. I would advise to always check the weights and the prices.

On our first night in Great Yarmouth we wondered into the "Marine" looking for some food. The Pub was quiet, and all the Staff were genuinely friendly. My Wife has Gallstones and is waiting an Operation so has to be so careful what she eats, the Staff were able to adapt a Prawn Salad for her, which we appreciated. I'm a huge Pie guy, and I chose the Homemade Steak and Ale Pie, which was a bit special, and I can't say I've eaten many, if any better. It's truly delicious. Thanks to everyone there for a lovely meal. Definitely drop in and try the Homemade Steak and Ale Pie.

It’s always wonderful to visit Fritton Lake, laid back luxury with such beautiful grounds, great food and lovely atmosphere. Every member of staff is so friendly and helpful, the Club House beautifully decorated. It’s a rare treat to find somewhere as lovely as this, and it’s dog friendly!

Always love a Toby Carvery! It’s great value for money and a nice spot for a meal out with friends. We had Bruce as our waiter tonight and he was so friendly and attentive. Will definitely be back!

Very disappointed! There were 4 of us and the food was not nice. Sausage and mash….mash had lumps and the sausages looked undercooked as were white! Steak & Ale pie….burnt and the inside was dried out like it had been reheated more than once. Beef roast dinner was the worst we had ever had, roast potatoes were burnt! Will never go back there as the customer service was non existent! Not once did someone come to the table to ask if everything was as ok.
