Greggs in Great Yarmouth

Food good but service and hygiene poor every table was dirty had to ask to have it wiped and we were the only ones in there Just really basic stuff 😞

Drinks and food ok as expected but the toilet has not seen a clean for weeks, begs the question “what is the kitchen like that the public don’t get to see?” Was frankly appalled especially in light of the current pandemic risks, told staff who apologised but did nothing about it or even checked!!!

Dropped in to collect three Breakfast Baguettes and three coffees, an easy order by any standards. Imagine our disappointment when we got the order gone a couple of minutes later to find rock hard baguettes smothered in ketchup and cold bacon and sausages inside absolutely drowned in tomato ketchup, not one of them was edible. To make matters worse one of the coffees had a teabag with its tag attached floating inside. I rang the branch up to discuss the issue and was eventually informed when they finally answered the phone “Sorry can’t help you, you should have complained in store at the point you bought them” they then hung up! Absolutely disgusting customer service.!

Disgusting attitude from staff , order was incomplete with no refund after being charged full price one staff was completely rude and unhelpful a formal complaint to customer service has been issued with a formal complaint to the main corporation. 159 orders on my account with numerous of places never have I ever been spoken and treated the way I have . Shame on u greggs shame on u

Ordered some sausage rolls, yum yum, tea, cappuccino and hot chocolate for breakfast. Not the most healthy but it was nice and reasonably priced. Sausage rolls were nice and fluffy. Drinks were nice too. Service was friendly. It is take away only. With social distancing, they are only allowing a few people in at a time so a queue soon builds up. Would visit again.
