Having had some really good experiences with Chinese Buffet, we thought we'd give this one a try but quickly regretted it.
There was very little choice in dishes, the food that was there looked and tasted like it had been sitting around for too long. There was one choice in desserts which was a bit of stale swiss role and the drinks were insanely priced.
The place felt grubby and unloved. One of the kitchen staff wasn't very pleasant to us when I asked her if she could top up the food but she's probably used to people complaining. The young waitress appeared embarrassed, not surprisingly... I really did feel sorry for her.
We would never recommend this place. They shouldn't' be running this business.
Used to be great but now pricey and batter on the fish is nasty!!
All soggy and wet on the inside. What ever happened to crispy golden batter! The cod is sliced as thin as possible and slapped in thick stodgy batter… and bloody expensive!!
Our order was a medium all day breakfast and a fruit scone.
We waited over an hour for our food which was all microwaved.
Neither of us were able to eat our food, the scone which was microwaved arrived on a plate that was swimming with water. The bottom was soggy and the top was chewy like a rubber band, completely inedible.
The breakfast was microwaved to death, apart from the egg and fried bread. Egg was undercooked and there was fat pouring out of the fried slice.
Worst food we've had in a long time.
Save your time and money and go elsewhere.
The young girl behind the counter was very rude and the man didn’t no what on earth he was doing putting vegan cream in our frappe the photo I put on is what it was supposed to look like instead all I can say was it was disgusting

Absolutely horrible , smelt vile , oil was extremely dirty like motor oil , really I should have read the reviews bad choice , however it was the only chip shop claiming to have no dairy in the batter , unfortunately I believe this not to be the case as I did have a reaction not anaphylactic thank god !!
But could have been bad for someone if that was the case.
I literally ate 2 chips and couldn’t manage a 1/4 of a large cod I paid for , binned the lot.
Shocked they are actually in business will be sure to avoid terrys / Frydays fish & chips.

Not even worth the 1 star staff extremely rude, unfriendly, very blunt. Don't waste your time or money with these people. Then the staff have the cheek to moan about customers in front of them. And just to add after we ordered and was handed the food, we saw how dirty the place was!!! Place needs investigating!!!!!
I had been wanting a Chinese for a while now and my god this is one of the best I’ve ever been to the man behind the counter was polite and mad me feel welcome and assured me that the time it would take wouldn’t be to long this was whilst they where very busy the chef was hard at work cooking and the food looked and smelled amazing I couldn’t wait for it with a matter of a few minutes no longer than 15 my food was ready I took it home and I must say the food was amazing would highly recommend eating here I think that this will be my new spot for when I fancy some Chinese food
Empty restaurant and 2 cars in drive thru but still took 20minutes to get my food from counter (shocking service considering its supposed to be a fast food restaurant) got home to cold fries lukewarm coffee and burger that looked as if it had been run over won't be using these again, no staff attending the counter or even checking customer to make sure everything is fine, in my opinion the customer service is appalling and looks like no training has been given in that area or in the preparation areas either just so shocked at the level of service for such a supposed highly regarded franchised company
While on holiday in Great yarmouthYarmouth, we stopped here for coffees and initially found it very busy. We ordered 2 Cappuchinos and as there were no available seats outside, we sat inside .
The coffees were good and the staff friendly however they were having trouble with the scanner accepting our Greggs app to pay.
After several attempts, it finally accepted our code - staff said it is always playing up !
The table had been cleared but not cleaned properly and the shop looked a little “battered” as the shelves were messy and several empty.
Maybe because they were so busy they did not have time to clean but there were only 1 on the till and one behind her doing ? We could see people in the back maybe someone should have offered their support, especially as the card reader was playing up and causing lengthy delays.
Thoroughly disappointed. The staff were friendly enough but their queueing system had us and another group confused. The slush I received was basically flavoured water rather than the crunchy ice you would expect.
We have a family feast every Friday with the grandkids the chicken has been quite small and dry over the last few weeks culminating in todays fare which was very small and very very dry absolutely awful will not be eating there again even if it is convenient an absolute rip off

Hard to find a clean table as lots of tables ha not been cleared. Waited a very long time to food to arrive, had paid £3.50 for a breakfast egg roll which should have 2 fried eggs in it but when it arrived was only 1 egg in a roll. Complained and staff offered to cook another egg but couldn't afford to wait a long time again so I left. Will not be eating there again, not a pleasant experience
