The best restaurants in Forest Heath East of England

Great new place for a snack or cakes. Fantastic selection of cakes lot home made. Sausage rolls looked nice three different types. We had the home made fruit and cheese scones. These were both tasty with plenty of fruit and cheese and mustard. Nice cup of tea shame about having to fish out the tea bag though from the cup. Service very good throughout. Very busy if in a group best to book a table. Will have to return to try the a sausage roll. I heard them say the could not heat them up which is a shame as they heated our scones up.

Delicious Indian food in a lovely setting. Excellent service. Highly recommended.

Great Sunday lunch and lovely atmosphere

Great food, incredible value Sunday Banquet!

I asked them to add veggies before ordering, and even before I got the to go box, I asked them again if they added veggies, and they said yes. But what is this? No veggies at all. Just meat and a pita? Who eats kebabs like this? I know it's close to closing time, but they should have listened to my request correctly. I'm so disappointed.

Lovely place. Good prices. It's a lot better astomophe than the previous manger. The brownies are scrumptious.

Good place to enjoy and time pass , good ambience and many more, the pub is traditional and the owner is so cool and chill, love to go there again and again, highly recommended for who is looking traditional pubs even can park your car outside as well

Amazing cod: crunchy and not greasy at all. The chips are of great quality as well, which is an usual thing to find as of lately. And the cherry on the cake is a super friendly owner.

I have placed an order at 19.15 and I was aware that they might be busy as there was an event happening in town at that time. I have used the app and it showed me delivery time of 20.01 which I found reasonable. At 20.06 I called the restaurant for a status update as the order hadn’t arrived. The told me it will be 20 min and apologised. At 20.40 I called again as my order still hadn’t arrived. Then I was told that they will call me back after they call the driver. They indeed called me back saying the driver will be with me within a minute and indeed he was here within the next 5. I understand that places can be busy and there is traffic but I don’t appreciate being told 20 min and take 35 when it’s already late.
