My local pub, great staff, nice vibe and big pub garden. Dog friendly and nice pizza place around the back that let you eat it inside pub.

I put 5 stars for food but there wasn’t any served at this time so it doesn’t actually apply. It was completely packed when we went but the atmosphere was good, the service was friendly and quick enough. Good to pass through if you’re going to Hertford on a Saturday night but I wouldn’t recommend staying long unless you have space to sit down.

I was warmly welcomed. The food and atmosphere was lovely and I look forward to returning.

Girls in hertford shop make a mean roll. Almost as good as hoddesdon lol. The girls are all lovely.

Really, this is a very good kebab shop, their chicken shish and lamb shish are excellent. Nice guys too. Always get great freshly made food here!

What a lovely place, would recommend to anyone who loves curry and friendly staff

An oasis of calm near the town centre, and has lasted longer than Bircherly Green shopping centre did. Now with added Kevolution and garden stage. The new chef is very good and the Sunday roast is most satisfactory. Sadly the beer is rubbish, generally you have a choice between overhopped, yellow stuff or overhopped yellow stuff. Not good for anyone who enjoys a nice pint of traditional ale.

So delicious! Really great value for money bento boxes at lunchtime. Such a lovely place with delicious food. 🍱 The miso soup was next level! 100% recommend

I was in the Blackbirds this lunch time, Enjoying my pint and the house music When a member of staff sat in the public area and had his phone on speaker with the volume up high!. I assume he was staff because he didn't have a drink!. I had the great house music in one ear and his noise in the other!. I always thought that the customers comfort and enjoyment was a pubs priority, apparently not in this pub!

Bought 2 pizzas and some coffee, bit more pricey than last time. Consumer inflation pricing 🤷‍♂️ Delicious though.

The food was absolutely delicious. Service was fantastic . You have to try the backlava, out of this world . Great restaurant, really good value, amazing food .

We had Sunday roast here,it was very good, The staff were very friendly and efficient, definitely worth a visit

Just an fyi to anybody who ever decides to go here, don’t, member of staff, possibly management thinks it’s okay to hit women, don’t waste your time on this pub
