My local pub, great staff, nice vibe and big pub garden. Dog friendly and nice pizza place around the back that let you eat it inside pub.

Quality Gunness and good atmosphere, very good service

Terrible overall.Not very organised.Went for desserts with my family and didn't have any of the desserts available apart from 3. We ordered 2 cookie dough and 2 portions of 2 scoops of vanilla icecream. After 35-40 minutes only one cookie dough came out and forgot the other parts of our order. The cookie dough was terrible,oily and very liquidy not impressed at all. Could not physically eat any more so eventually left and were told we didn't have to pay. Staff were nice but unfortuante about the circumstances.

Girls in hertford shop make a mean roll. Almost as good as hoddesdon lol. The girls are all lovely.

We placed an order for collection. Food was really lovely and fast collection. However. We paid £8.50 for prawns in the image. We could not believe it when we opened the box. Some very anaemic prawns… for £8.50!!! As I said. The food itself was lovely. Just a shame to see such a tiny portion for such a price tag! This review is more to allow other customers to double check portion sizes

The room upstairs can do with improving. Many pubs are moving away from the classic pub concept and embracing the pub / cafe / restaurant plus venue solution which is child friendly and child inclusive . They should consider this too. Otherwise a great place to socialise with friends!

Not the best we have had from this restaurant, poppadoms were all smashed. Food not particularly hot. Just not very enjoyable. - prices have gone up and we feel the quality has gone down - not worth the money.

Great coffee ever awesome great experience

Seen lots of people in this cafe many times and thought “why not give it a go”. Sat down and was given a menu, first of all not a lot of choice so ended up just going for the scrambled eggs on toast and added bacon, my mum had the florentine pizza. Had to go to the counter and pay upfront. The scrambled eggs were watery and had no taste, the bacon tasted like it was expired and the bread was tiny and slightly burnt, also the orange juice tasted watered down! The pizza was soggy on the bottom and didn’t have any taste, only managed two slices before giving up on it. This is definitely not authentic Italian. Waste of time and money.

Delicious. Absolutely delicious. 12 of us ate here for a 40th birthday lunch, and it was brilliant to see a varied menu with plenty of choice for so many people. The meats were cooked to perfection, alongside delicious breads, dips and halloumi. I had the Chicken Iskender, a first for me, and the delicious food blew all anxieties away. You know what it’s like trying something new. The service was brilliant. Attentive, understanding, patient and made the birthday boy feel very special. The portion sizes were larger than expected, but that’s not a bad thing. Just be mindful when ordering lots of sides. Make sure you leave room for the main dish. We had lots of left overs and the restaurant gave us to-go boxes to take it home and it was still delicious when we ate it later that evening.
