The best restaurants in Hertford Castle East Hertfordshire East of England

Went there for a few drinks for the first time, the staff was so so nice and welcoming to us all and our little dog, felt so heartwarming and homely, the best service I have ever received in any pub, thank you so much team for being fabulous people !

Disappointed… that I didn’t have room to eat the entire menu! Service was excellent. Very attentive & friendly. Food was out of this world. The presentation was clean and the flavouring combinations were superb. Decor & seating was warming, welcoming and comfy We ate: Shrimp tacos Black pudding hash We drank: Berry smoothie Cortado Flat white

Came in here to see the ale line up very impressed london pride and tribute and rev James on tap great selection and in good order staff very pleasant pub and toilets very clean ordered some sides to keep me going very tasty great size onion rings really recommend

A LOT of people are reviewing the wrong establishment here. If you think you dined here in the evening - you did not. You went to Il Vino's RESTAURANT on St Andrew's Street towards Hertford North Station. This is a café that closes at 5pmon Fore Street in the town centre Been here numerous times, nice spot for lunch after a stroll round Folly Island and Hartham Common Park, they do excellent medium size pizzas (amongst many other things), and the prices are reasonable. Good service, piping hot food, tables outside for the vapers and smokers, and a room at the back for additional space.

Superb as always, Chicken Tikka Balti is a 10/10. Our favourite Indian Restaurant

No where to sit good if you're a teenager though.
