Disappointed… that I didn’t have room to eat the entire menu! Service was excellent. Very attentive & friendly. Food was out of this world. The presentation was clean and the flavouring combinations were superb. Decor & seating was warming, welcoming and comfy We ate: Shrimp tacos Black pudding hash We drank: Berry smoothie Cortado Flat white

Great place for brunch and catch up with friends. Selection of fresh juices, coffee and delicious full English breakfast. Hash brown is particularly good and flakey. 'instagramable venue' with genuine substance and good food. Venue does get busy so would recommend to book in advance

Having never been here before, I was really pleased to find the atmosphere so welcoming, the staff so lovely and the food so good! Came here with a friend, so I hoped to select a brunch place that would leave us with a good memory before her travels, a place to match other brunch places in the past we've visited in Hertfordshire. It met and exceeded our expectations. Our server, Kenzie, was amazing from the start, so kind and attentive and added to the positive vibes we got from the place. The food was made well and tasted really good. We both wanted avocados on the side, which wasn't on the extras list, but Kenzie was able to accommodate it for us. She was super lovely, and had a smile on her whenever she was on the cafe floor. The matcha latte with vanilla was recommended by Kenzie and it was a great choice for a novice matcha drinkers like myself. I can't fault the place, even their restrooms were well considered in what they had within! Great find, and one I'd go to again and again!

We've been here many times, we like the food, but previously the service has been terrible. But we can notice a drastic improvement now, with service and the time it takes for food to arrive. Beautiful brunch 💛

The food was ok, I had the omelette which had lots of filling which was great but was quite greasy. I also got the rosemary fries which tasted like the oil wasn't quite hot enough and was well used as the fries were quite dark, had a bitter undertone in the flavour and were soft instead of crispy, rosemary salt on top was tasty. My husband had the breakfast which was good, question the charcoal toast...doesn't really add anything in flavour or aesthetics, we both would of preferred standard sourdough. Very busy spot though so clearly lot of others really enjoy it. I don't agree with the 12.5% service charge unless the service is done very well but it was just ok including having to ask for cutlery to eat of food after it had arrived.

Delicious, best brunch I’ve had in a while. Great menu selection and the staff are lovely. First time in Hertford but I’ll definitely come back and come here again

Very nice experience and good food

Coming from a very good experience in the Bishops Stortford Peach, I was extremely disappointed with this branch. Actually quite angry that a 12.5% service charge was added to a bill where staff didn’t great us & we had to go up to get a menu / order drinks and also pay. Coffee was also not good. I won’t go back.

Went last week and had a lovely experience! Would defo recommend. Especially our waitress Kenzie who was so nice and helpful.

Went to Peach today for brunch , had amazing food and even better service, Kenzie was so friendly and attentive. Will definitely be coming back soon. Thanks Peach!

We went to PEACH for ‘brunch’ yesterday and I had the best breakfast I can remember having in a long time . Thyme roasted mushrooms, perfectly poached eggs, chive hollandaise , truffle oil, all on top of what was meant to be an English muffin , but I had changed to their sourdough toast , for my preference. It was delicious… oh and then I had a Passionfruit Martini to top off the perfect morning . Five stars all round !

We went for brunch yesterday for a friends birthday, food was lovely and staff were very nice, and efficient , they also went out of their way to bring pancakes with a sparkler and sang happy birthday. The atmosphere was great. Thankyou Peach✨️

Lovely food, coffee and nice atmosphere! Food was slightly slow to come out but it was a busy Sunday brunch so this understandable. Also the eggs weren’t runny on the royale but the black pudding hash was super delicious! Would reccomend!

Excellent food and service especially given how busy it was when I arrived. They coped well with a large amount of people and were still very attentive and made sure I got what I needed. Really great to see this level of service and makes me want to support the local business. I’m not sure if you can do anything re atmosphere but it is always incredibly noisy, I think it’s the acoustics of the building. My wife and I have been a few times and it is always very loud even with just a few people dining. Overall lovely experience. Thank you

The food was delicious! Very fresh and flavourful! We ordered the savoury pancakes and the full English which is served with a charcoal sourdough, the taste was amazing! Atmosphere was great. Staff were friendly and helpful! Will definitely be visiting again!

Really lovely place with a nice atmosphere. Good variety on the menu. Had a smoothie and also the Royale. The beetroot salmon was delicious and added on halloumi, which is always a bonus. Great service and nice decor.

PEACH is a fantastic restaurant, especially for vegetarians and those with dietary requirements as the menu is highly customisable. I live close to the restaurant and will visit it often, so have tried almost everything on the menu - and it’s all delicious. When bringing friends to Hertford, it’s my favourite place to take them as I know they’ll be impressed. Would recommend! 5/5

Ate here in October 2023. Safe to say I was disappointed, there were two main reasons for this. Firstly I ordered a burger with no tomato, the waitress brought the meal and put down the burger announcing it as a ‘burger name’ with no tomato. I look at the burger and I can see a ginormous slice - not even a slice almost just half a tomato - in the burger. I didn’t send it back but it was really disappointing to see the lack of reading from the kitchen. Everyone else’s food was delightful. Then it took a really long time to get the bill - they apologised but still. Maybe it was an off day I’m not sure but I wouldn’t go back.

Peach, Hertford for a breakfast treat was devine. My teenage daughters loved it too. They had the Royale and I had the Ragout mushrooms on charcoal sourdough. All, cooked perfectly, presented well and tastes to match. Their flat white was strong but not bitter. Smoothie for one teen went down well. We absolutely love the decor which is neuvo art deco. Relaxed and good music. Friendly staff. Reasonably priced food. What more could you want. We will be back.

Came into peach on Saturday for my sisters birthday with rather high hopes. The service was really good and the staff were ultra attentive and helpful. The food however was poor the starters were nice but the mains were not great. The chicken burger which I was told was excellent was sadly not very good. It was thigh meat and the batter felt more like a breading than a frying which would be no issue but for the price it costs it wasn’t worth it. The beef burgers looked decent enough so I may try them next time to see.

Beautiful cafe restaurant. When we first visited I was worried that this experience would be “all style and no substance” but the food was 10/10. I don’t know how they cook their eggs but they were delicious. I also loved the iced coffee. We devoured the pancakes. The music was at the perfect level, not too loud. I will definitely be back as I can say this place has style and substance!

Went in new years eve and the atmosphere was great! We only had cocktails which were delicious. The staff were very attentive and friendly. Quite expensive - 3 cocktails cost almost £40 but I guess that's what things are costing now!

We booked a table of 8 for a baby shower celebration today. I would just like to say thank you so much. Everything was faultless. The restaurant was so beautiful and the staff were amazing - so accommodating. They let us set up the table an hour before the guests arrived and even allowed us to stay for a while after closing to finish our baby shower games and pack up. The food was lovely and matched our pre order perfectly. Will definitely return for future events. Baby changing area was great too. Thanks again!

Amazing service today at brunch! Very attentive and friendly, couldn’t have been better. All our (what I can only imagine to actually be quite annoying at a busy Saturday brunch rush) special requests aka no mushrooms, eggs a certain way etc was all accommodated for. Just all in all really impressed! The black pudding with ham hock was incredible, if that’s your vibe I’d deffo recommend!

Regular brunch haunt for me and my wife. The eggs benedict are some.of the nest I've had and their Hash Brown Pave is special.

Not a clue what the good reviews are about???? The portion sizes just about feed a mouse let alone a human, absolutely terrible quality of food for what you’re paying.

Had a wonderful post holiday catch up lunch with my best friend today. From start to finish our 'Peach' experience was absolutely spot on. Front of house staff were happy, smiling and very courteous. Our meal was delightful, we thoroughly enjoyed every mouthful. We shared a cheeky pudding very stylishly decorated with edible flowers. Thank you to every one at Peach for looking after us - we'll be back very soon.

I came here with my friend today and we absolutely loved it! Such a great atmosphere, lovely staff and the food was to die for! I had the Shakshouka and it was honestly the best one I’ve ever had! The fresh juice was also yummy and the coffee was perfection! Everything was 10/10 and we can’t wait to come back!

We come here quite often as we love the food. Overall it's really good but despite coming at quiet times, the service is always very slow. But love how dog friendly it is and it's a nice bright space to have brunch in.

We came here for brunch for my Mum’s birthday and they added a sparkler on top of her omelette and sang happy birthday which was a really nice touch. I’ve only ordered takeaway so no rating for atmosphere! First of all i’m a pescatarian so that’s crucial for viewing this review! I’ve had the plant based Ndula Burger, the Plant based cheeseburger, the plant based truffle burger, the plant based chicken karage burger AND the Bai Buns. Everytime i’ve had to check my order to make sure i’ve not ordered the meat version cause this stuff is amazing! It tastes amazing and it satisfies the ex meat eater in me! For vegans/veggies this stuff is amazing to a point when i think this is either meat or they’ve put narcotics in the burgers!

Dropped a star off only because it was rammed so we had a tiny middle 2 seater table.. but nice decor and like what they're trying to do. Had the Royale with extra hash brown and a nice coffee.. menu looks great so will go back.

Had a lovely brunch here at the weekend. Everything was cooked to perfection. We had the full english and the shakshuka. We particularly enjoyed the charcoal sourdough. The coffee was great, and so were the smoothies. Service was lovely, but food did take a while to come... but when it tastes as good as it did, it was worth the wait. Thank you..

Taco Tuesday Went to Peach on Tuesday and discovered Taco Tuesday. Delicious Tacos, reasonably priced and a pleasant change to their usual excellent food. Tried both meat and veggie options, both superb. Melon Keg cocktail was also a treat! Will definitely be back again.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Peach, and I must say, it was an absolutely outstanding experience from start to finish. This restaurant truly deserves every accolade it receives for its impeccable service, exquisite cuisine, and inviting ambiance. Upon entering, I was greeted by the warm and attentive staff who made me feel instantly welcomed. The atmosphere was elegant yet cozy, with tasteful decor setting the stage for a lovely evening. The service at Peach was impeccable. The staff members were knowledgeable about the menu and were able to provide excellent recommendations. They were attentive without being intrusive, ensuring that every need was met throughout the evening. I’ll defiantly be coming back and would recommend to anyone else.

Worst experience of my life in any restaurant I have ever been in. Just walked out of Peach and have never felt so unwelcome anywhere in my life. Had to ask to order drinks which was fine and the waitress waa really nice however we had been waiting for our food for over 45 minutes so I kindly asked the lady I assumed was manager as didn't have on a uniform and she said it won't be long it's coming! She saw my shock in how she shouted that at me so eventually came back and said it would be 5 minutes. 15 minutes later the food came. Went up to pay at the till with the nice lady who took our drinks and I couldn't believe my eyes when the manager was rolling her eyes at me for asking for a recipt! Kept staring at me giving me horrible looks. I told her to stop treating customers like that and walked out. I now wish I made a bigger deal about it but instead I waa kind and even paid!

Went back to Hertford today after many yrs of being away, to find this restaurant, light and airy tables not to close together, menu not extensive but adequate and reasonably priced, staff were attentive and only a few empty seats remained when we arrived. We will go back again.

Lunch so a bit quiet but great food. Omlette with charcoal sourdough. Fresh and hot. Great banana bread too.

Nice food, staff are not very attentive if you are waiting for a seat or if you are waiting to be asked if you would like anything more. Just left on two occasions when I would have liked another coffee and some cake.

Was a quiet afternoon when I attended with a friend (only 2 tables) and the service was very slow. Although very friendly and the food was amazing!

Quite a loud echoey environment so was hard to chat, but that may have been the clientele that day. Overall it's a nice interior, cocktails, smoothies and food were delicious, sensible prices, service was mostly good but at time hard to get people's attention. On a hot day it was nice and cool inside. Nice simple brunch menu, so would definitely go back.

Very loud environment due to lack of soft furnishings, was overstimulating. It doesn’t help that they’ve squeezed too many tables in. Food was incredibly average, and was not hot. Staff all seemed very unhappy. I think this place is massively overrated.

First visit here today,a lovely little restaurant which smelt amazing as soon as you walk in!! On the Negative… The waitress looked frankly put out that we had even bothered walking through the door (we were the only customers,I would understand if she was run off her feet) Really off putting and unprofessional,I wouldn’t put her front of house !. On the Positive.. Omg the food was delicious and beautifully presented!! The Pistachio tea and Matcha Latte were gorgeous. Definitely worth a visit and was really reasonable prices .!!

Had an Elvis lunch which was great value and an overall great experience. The service team were first class. My only gripe was that my burger was not cooked to my liking and was red in the middle. If the chefs policy is to cook burgers rare the customer should be asked how they want theirs cooked! This aside a brilliant lunch, Elvis Shmelvis was superb!

First visit, it will not be our last Nice menu, I had a fantastic omelette with carbon sour dough toast. My partner had the pancakes. A good choice.

Amazing Turkish eggs. Have never tasted anything like it. Coffee was nice, cool cups and I had a strawberry juice, which really did not go with my food, but my fault. My mrs drunk it instead and loved it with her avocado.
