The Brewery Tap in East Hertfordshire

Lively atmosphere and friendly staff.

Several decades since visiting the Brewery Tap due to moving away. Dropped in on a Sunday afternoon for drinks only and had a very pleasant experience. Great atmosphere, and despite the staff being young, they were attentive without being intrusive. A balance where many establishments fail. So, credit to management and staff; you've cracked it! We may live in Bedfordshire but will in future detour on our return from family in Hoddesdon. Thanks for the experience.

Google says open 'til 23:00. Turned up just before 22:00 and there was a lock in and they wouldn't let us in. Not impressed.

Real nice pub. Sport screens all over . The service , Well let's just say they could get you in trouble with the Mrs. You may be going for "1 pint" but as soon as they see you've nearly finished they come over ask if you want another and bring it to your table with a smile. So yeah I went in for 1 and had 4 .

Very disjointed service stood at the front bar then a girl to one order and run off then eventually some lad turned up took and served the rest of the group while the others had to wait. Very strange setup

We like coming here for a drink. Sat outside in the courtyard to watch the sprits tvs. Lovely atmosphere but decor was quite tired, and the place could do with being spruced up.

It's just so fabulous. Darts in the basement are fantastic, and John the landlord was just so attentive and fun. Great atmosphere. A real pub!

Staff are what really makes this beautiful pub so good . I haven't eaten here yet but i would be convenient with it being fantastic.Watching football and other sports. Love it here.Its a good thing for me not living close as I would be in here so much more.

This looked like a very old and quality pub, but I think we were at the on the wrong seats. There were so many flying black bugs that it was hard to relax. The music was good.The staff were subdued but friendly. They were all dressed in black and seemed to have been at a wake or funeral. I was sad for them and figured I'd visit again another day to really see how the pub is. I did see a medieval cellar which I thought I'd like to someday visit

Normally pretty busy more of a middle aged crowd, normally have a DJ or something on weekends.

Very quiet plenty of atmosphere

Great place. Really unique looking inside bar with tiled floors, decent beer list and an outside area which is well heated in the winter, quite an atmosphere gets going on Friday and Saturday nights. The staff are excellent and conduct a prompt and proactive table service which I’m sure is a good earner for them

Small pub with a big choice of ales , good basement bar but needs to have ventilation due to how hot it gets when there are a number of customers in there.

Popped in for Mulled wine, very friendly service and nice atmosphere.

I really like this bar. It serves lovely gin and the staff are friendly. Table service was added bonus. I like the cosy, homely feel. I didn't sit in the outside terrace as it's for smokers, bit too smokey for me, but was busy.

Nice pub, service is quick and pleasant. Various TVs for the sport and varied seating options too.

Fantastic atmosphere, very personable staff. Reasonably priced. Built in 1799.

They are friendly and they sell Old Rosie. Need I say more. This makes it the best pub in Ware.

Visited for my Grandads 85th Birthday. Had a selection of local Ales and was very pleased with them as well as the price. The Barwomen was very friendly and welcoming. Will revisit!

Beers are good. But no chef! So limited food: pies, very good but that's all you get. Seafood sandwich very nice, with crisps and salad garnish.
