Bosphorus Kebab in East Hertfordshire

Very rude customer service, we asked for no tomatoes, obviously we had tomatoes inside. Meat is very odd

This is an okay place to get a kebab, as Hertford does not offer many choices. The staff are friendly and generous with the portions. Be aware they do not like you paying by card. Last time I visited, my cooked chicken skewers were placed touching raw chicken skewers on the grill. The doner meat was also taken out from the back and quickly reheated. I got a very upset stomach the same night.

I’ve been eating at the Bosphorus for over 10 years now. They use high quality meats and ingredients. Highly recommend the lamb doner with their homemade chilli sauce. Staff are also very friendly.

DO NOT EAT HERE if you have had drinks beforehand they double charge you for food as they think you're drunk. They lie about the price then you tap your card they don't give you a receipt and then the next day you realise they have double charged you. How disgusting of a buisness to do this.

Picked up two large chicken shish kebabs from here last night and we both thought they were SO good! It's an easy 10/10, really nice!!

1st time here with the assumption all kebab places are the same. But Bosphorus has totally changed my mind. Food was the best we have had, salad was fresh, kebabs cooked to perfection and not greasy. Even the chips were good. Staff were very friendly and polite. Very clean premises which is why they are a 5*. Parking very easy. Will defo be back when we are in this area again

Burgers are good however not all their meat is halal, apparently only the chicken shish and burgers. Doesn't make much sense there are halal suppliers in the doner and lamb all around Hertford

This kebab shop is top notch! Juicy kebabs, fresh pita and friendly staff make it a great experience. Try the mix kebab for a taste of everything. A must visit for authentic Turkish food.

This kebab shop is amazing! I was in the area and ordered the lamb shish to-go and was blown away by its quality. The meat was juicy, flavourful and cooked to perfection. The staff was very friendly and the service was quick. I highly recommend this place for a delicious and convenient meal. 5 stars for sure!

I ate Adana kebab with my family and we loved it.

Ordered a lamb shish, the meat was bland and tasted off. Needless to say I did not eat it. Will not be going back.

You just will not find a better kebab shop than this and the staff and service are excellent

Great selection of Turkish kebabs. Prices have risen quite a bit in recent years and disappointing that they don't accept contactless payments. However, food is always good and they will add salad items to your particular taste.

I tried other kebap places in London but this is definitely the best one and just like how they originally make it in Turkey! The meat is fresh and the taste is awesome. I can't eat any other kebabs now, it has to be this one👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Best burger ever and a real hidden gem. Kebabs very good with great salad vegetables and fabulous chilli sauce (why bother with the supermarkets for salad!). Place spotless and staff so friendly. Came across this place as everywhere was shut and it was just an amazing find.

Food was lovely and fresh. They didnt accept card payment though which was a bit of a pain

First time using this takeaway probably the last, meat was tasteless, chips had been re fried and staff were lacking smiles! But can imagine it tastes lovely on a Friday night after 10 pints!

Was the best Kebab place in Hertford last Koftee I had was not great put the prices up and the quality down. Meet was not great quality i threw half of it away as it was not nice. Shame used to get food here a lot.

Had a cracking chicken shish which went down perfectly alongside my warm can of strongbow dark fruit opposite the “notorious” Jungle Bar 🥴 But i must add, bossman was exquisitely polite and generous with the condiment (Burger sauce and Diet HP sauce). Would definitely recommend to all of my deeper sound, shuffling brethren!

Always a great kebab from here. they know our order well. Chips are good too and staff are friendly. Really enjoy when we can have a kebab from here as a treat.

Excellent experience. I rang ahead and ordered 3 chicken shish kebabs with pots of garlic sauce. Real busy but with 5 guys cooking/serving on a Fri night, it took no time at all. Food tasted great! Tip. You can park in the M&S car park for a £1.
