The best restaurants in Bishop's Stortford Central East Hertfordshire East of England

It's not a Portuguese restaurant. It's a mix of Portuguese, English and Spanish food. I can understand the English food, since we're in England. But why on earth they play Spanish music and have tapas is beyond me. I suggest they try some French food, maybe they'll get more customers!

Christmas can be a tricky time to celebrate a birthday in a restaurant but these Guys made it great for my daughter today! Immaculate,excellent customer service and amazing food!

Delicious and freshly made fish and chips right in front of you. The prices are great and the staff are really nice! Highly recommend Dali’s.

well prepared in time and after that, that delicious chicken tikka panini has become one of my favourite on the menu. Being honest I’ve been a regular customer of this Cafè now. Lovely staff as well as the atmosphere. Would defo recommend. 😚

A first visit to Penny and Lou - a warm and friendly welcome, efficient service and an excellent breakfast/brunch. Not a huge menu, but perfectly served and good value for money. Will visit again.

Ordered a delivery of kebab, chicken wings and cod with chips. Unfortunately My cod was soggy. Like wet bread. The bottom had all fallen apart. I phoned up and spoke to the chef. He was rude, patronising and didn’t want to admit he had given me a badly cooked piece of fish. Mistakes can happen, but when they refuse to be taken seriously, the business and other prospective customers should know. No compensation, no respect. They’ve lost a customer here.

Great pub, especially for sports

This is a lovely restaurant - I had the shish kebab with bulgar rice ( sensational) followed by the baklava and Turkish coffee.. they made a real show and memory for my daughters 12th birthday singing to her in a traditional hat and bringing our extra baklava with a candle - wonderful memory and service - thankyou.

Blooming lovely fish and chips 🐟 🍟 I’ve had uber eats from this place a few times now and always thought it was great - went up there in person and was so impressed clean organised efficient - great systems and just proper great chippie so wanted to take the time to give a great review. On a Friday when you’re tired after work can’t beat it - highly recommend!

Place is amazing. I’ve literally had the best beef fillet, I've ever tasted in all my life!. The service is incredible and they have a huge gourmet wine list…this is going to be my new local ❤️

We went for lunch with family for the first time and we loved it. The food was flavorful, fresh ingredients and lots of choices. Some dishes felt a bit too sweet but we didn’t mind that too much because everything was tasty. We will definitely come again and order delivery as well.

Ordered on deliveroo early evening. Whole chicken and 2 portions of chips. When it didn't show up I checked the order, which FishNChkn had cancelled due to "unavailable items". It's a chip shop called FishnChicken. I ordered chicken and chips. What exactly had they run out of? And why can't they message you instead of letting you wait over an hour until it's late and then having to find something else to eat (and start the wait all over again). Not surprised. Bad service everywhere now. Just disappointed. And hungry. And won't have time to eat dinner now. Only ordered in because I didn't have time for anything else.
