Last night we went to Pircio Restaurant, what an experience, fantastic food, atmosphere was alive, service was fantastic and Mike was a very attentive waiter, can’t recommend highly enough, we will be back! 😋 Highly recommend to book Had to queue but was seated quickly It was very busy but the service was very efficient

Love, Love, Love this place. Haven't been for a few months, but went last night for a 50th Birthday and it was fantastic. I do remember it being good, but last night was on another level, food, atmosphere, service, all were fantastic. The vibe is brilliant and choice of food amazing, Italian, Turkish, Greek, European, not sure where they keep it all stored, but definitely something to please every taste?! Well done guys for making it such a wonderful evening.

Beautifully decorated restaurant in the Drill Hall building, everywhere you look, you discover another feature that along with the lighting adds a real wow factor. The staff are polite, friendly, experienced and helpful. The food was absolutely amazing, the Japanese coated prawns were the best coated prawns I've ever had and the lamb so tender it melts in the mouth. The atmosphere is great, has a novel way to celebrate birthday celebrations and even though really busy and quite a lot of very comfortable bench seating, you still feel like your table is private. Would strongly advise booking...not sure you would get a table without one. For an unforgettable evening, this definitely deserves my 5* rating.

Food tatsy and good range of gluten free. Very busy and quite noisy (may be issue for more noise sensitive people). Staff friendly and sang happy birthday for party member.

Absolutely stunning restaurant the location and decor is beautiful and it has the best atmosphere. The food is to die for we went with a party for 6 with a mix of the Mediterranean and Italian, all of the food was excellent I would 100% recommend. Fantastic restaurant 😊

I have been with family and friends a few times and can't complain. Pircio serve up decent portions of good quality food. The combination of both Greek and Italian food means plenty of choice. They also have a dedicated vegetarian menu, highlighting the choices available. Staff are friendly and the place has a bustling atmosphere. I'd highly recommend the place for any occasion.

We went to pircio for family 30th birthday x was well looked after from the minute we arrived , service was excellent staff very attentive we all had a wonderful time thankyou to management and staff .

Food was average but priced at the more expensive end. Service was good, and staff very attentive. Every fifteen minutes or so, they would play some god awful music to celebrate a customers birthday, where they would place a filthy hat on the person whilst encouraging all customers to clap. Very annoying.... don't think I'll go back...

Went there last night for a friends birthday and threw up in the restaurant an hour after my meal - something I the meal was not right. Had to go home and was sick for the rest of the evening.

Nice atmosphere and great service

Great restaurant, with a good selection of Italian and Turkish dishes, which are all very good. It is always full at weekends so make sure you book. Only downside is it can get a little noisy if you are on the main floor, but this is because it is very popular and always full, so worth it for the food 👍.

We had a really good dinner at Pircio. The Pircio has a stylish ambience and the service was very attentive.

Great venue, awesome staff and service. Vast menu choices. Quality food. I always like to try something new so had the "panicotti con capesante e gambrei" absolutely gorgeous dish, everyone at my table tried it and loved it. The pizzas, puds, salads, mains i cant remember and cocktails, all 10 out of 10. No complaints from the teenagers or us adults. Will definitely be back. Thank you for a lovely evening.

Service was very poor, felt rushed and not looked after. Food was well seasoned, however certain things could have been better. Atmosphere was lively but very loud, feels like they prioritise people in large groups as it is more money making for them even though we wanted to enjoy multiple cocktails.

Very friendly staff and lovely restaurant

The good attention of the waiters was impressive. The food is very delicious, the dishes are well presented. Many birthdays, they put a golden hat on the birthday boy and everyone sings happy birthday to him, which cheers up and cuts a bit of the silence that occurs before and after...in other words, a little musical background would be good. The people are very well dressed. The waiters are very elegant and attentive. It is not a cheap place or to eat in a hurry.

Big menu big restaurant - Italian and Turkish menu - lots of birthdays and food for that sort of thing as menu is big and something to keep everyone happy - Saturday night very busy and noisy so just be aware of that !

Food was amazing, great variety but also really nice, Pizza was incredible. Loved the atmosphere great for family and kids would recommend. Staff were really attentive and accommodating too which made such a difference.

I lived in middle eadt, Istanbul and the med and this food is not up to standard. Its also over priced for what you are served. The staff are friendly the location is nice but the food needs work. I now refuse to eat here. You try you decide, who am I anyway.

My husband fell on the steps outside the restaurant and cut his face on the iron railings. The care and attention given by the staff was excellent in every way.

Great food, staff were good but it was so busy they would come by rarely but still very lovely.

On our to London for a dinner and got stuck in 3 hour queue. Had to abandon London so detored to this restaurant. Absolutely fantastic all round food, service and atmosphere, and also venue. What a pleasant surprise as never been before. Now going to make it a regular as 5***** enjoyment.

I appreciated the chilled ambience and Mediterranean decor of this lovely restaurant this Monday lunchtime . The staff were attentive and the food was very good. We will visit again!

Way too busy screaming baby on the next table at 10 on a Saturday night. Couldn’t wait to get out of there. The Tara is absolutely awful thin with zero flavour, the humous isn’t far behind. The Ezme salad was also tasteless. The meat was nice. Service was great. Venue is nice and prices not too bad. Don’t think it’s for me this place. Shame

It is extremely busy place but no delay about service such a food and drink service. It is like a rocket science, fast service and good vibe always in this beautiful place. Friendly service They focused to customer service they called us as a guest so We feel confident. I highly recommend this fantastic place Menu is Italian and Mediterranean Huge wine list and cocktails. Birthday celebrations makes smiles on everyone faces . Happy to come again and again

It was my first visit to Pircio, whilst staying with a friend in Bishop's Stortford. She wasn't sure if it was for us but we loved it. Although it was early on Saturday night (circa 6pm), the large place was really busy and in a good way. There was a great atmosphere and vibe yet the food and service weren't compromised by the busy-ness. We both had meat kebabs - lamb and chicken - and they were both beautifully cooked and really tender. The Turkish house red wine was very coiffable. We didn't try the cocktails but will next time!

Had a great night at Pircio! The food was great, with a nice selection of food from Italian and Turkish cuisines. The atmosphere was top tier, with staff who were very welcoming, helpful and friendly. Will definitely be returning.

Beautiful location, unfortunately the food was disappointing. The “fresh mussels” we had as a starter were actually frozen ones. I believe it is against the law to advertise “fresh” and then use thawed frozen seafood. The mussels tasted dry and old. The grilled plates were better, especially the lamb. Chicken shish was dry and breast meat (=tasteless). The sauce provided with the grilled prawns was industrial packaged Asian Chili sauce. Would have expected WAY better in a Turkish restaurant that has even a bit of pride.

Went there with a big group and we were surprised that considering was fully packed ,the food was more than perfect(especially Sea bass) and the cocktails as well.Highly recomand!!!

Brilliant place for groups.. huge dining area, beautifully decorated, lively atmosphere ( this is not a place for a romantic table for two!) Really wide choice of food, something for everyone. Service was truly excellent.. super accommodating, and really took care of the kids in our group. Can't comment on the VFM as we were guests, so didn't pay the bill. Would definitely book, this is a super popular place!

Party of 4 and we sat upstairs to celebrate my partner's birthday. Want to say staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, however the wait for food, and particularly drinks, was really long; for example we ordered cocktails before ordering mains and, despite asking waitors about it multiple times, they still hadn't turned up after mains were eating. On the other hand, we were treated to some shots to make up for the wait. Quality of the food was absolutely fantastic and cannot fault but value for money may not quite be there for some dishes. Atmosphere was great as it was a very busy night and had a fun vibe, especially with the flow of birthday announcements throughout the evening, but may benefit from some music or live performance Overall, will definitely return at some point but would be keen to try some of the surrounding restaurants first

My Turkish pizza came out cold & raw - unbelievably bad! The management seem to want to get you in, empty your pockets double-quick, then get you out so they can repeat the trick! Over priced & over hyped.

Great restaurant a nice relaxed atmosphere, a little noisy though, Great Italian and Greek food . Veg was a little hard else I would have given it a 5 star, A lovely outside eating space for good weather eating as well .

Fantastic venue, never seen so many waiting staff in my life! A few orders were mixed up but we got our orders correct in the end and to be fair it was very busy! Great atmosphere and the waitering staff were very jolly.

While passing through Bishop's for one night, we discovered this restaurant in a pretty cul-de-sac. The decoration is neat and the staff very welcoming and smiling. We had a hard time deciding because the menu made us want to eat everything! The dishes were excellent and very generous. A very warm atmosphere as well. I highly recommend this restaurant!

Definitely a good restaurant to go to for a celebration, a general weekend evening or for a night out. The atmosphere and service were brilliant - will definitely visit again.

I definitely don't recommend Pircio and I don't understand why there are such good reviews? We went for dinner as a family, looking for an Italian restaurant!!! Pircio advertises itself as an Italian restaurant, but the only thing they have in common with Italy is name and an ad on Google - "serving Italian cuisine from pasta & grilled meats to seafood & wine". The wine is Turkish and the food is tasteless, watery and cold. If someone is looking for an Italian restaurant, Pircio IS NOT an Italian restaurant!

I'm trying a new dining experience today. This place is delightful (old drill hall)full of atmosphere and service is great (very friendly). Great food, great staff. Very busy book early gonna be a good addition to the restaurant trade in Bishop Stortford.

One of the nicest restaurants I've been to for a while. Great atmosphere, lots of families which was great to see. Fabulous Mediterranean type food. Would definitely recommend.

Birthday meal for 18yr old nephew - 12 of us across 4 generations. One of us was late arriving and so our party ordered food late. Despite this, starters arrived promptly and were very tasty. Mains followed - also delish. Pizza, pasta, burgers, all yummy. Attentive staff removed surplus glasses, bottles and cutlery and kept us topped up with drinks. Special birthday cake served, music, clapping and an unexpected but v. funny Turkish birthday hat brought out gif the birthday boy to wear. Photos taken and bill paid, everyone said how lovely the staff were, how tasty the food was and the birthday boys dad who stumped up for the whole meal - said it was good value. Decent tip added and smiles all round. Well done Pircio. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

For several years this was my favourite restaurant in Bishops Stortford however the last 2 visits have been a real disappointment. Food standards have dropped, not worth the money. Several plates on the last 2 visits served food which should have been hot, fish, lamb and veg. Fish was not fresh. Another person mentioned that you could get a better burgers in McDonalds.

Very posh dual dished restaurant. Turkish and italian mix very well. Pricey but delicious.i had the kleftiko and it was a very generous portion cooked perfectly

Very hit or miss. If you go in as just a couple you are pushed to one side, originally we were near the toilets and all you could hear was the hand dryer going off. Luckily we managed to convince the waitress to move us. It has a good atmosphere inside however it is SO loud inside you really have to shout at each other. In terms of the food; we had two dishes, one was lovely (although the portion was rather small) and the other was a 2/5 very bland, no seasoning and the garlic pizza bread was very underwhelming. As we left people were queuing up outside the restaurant to get it, all I could think of was “gosh have I missed something”. It’s not amazing it’s a little bit mediocre and it caters for groups rather than couples. I think I will go back and give it another go to see why people are knocking the door down to get in. But I wouldn’t rush back.

A truly wonderful place. The experience stared by being greeted at the door by someone who knew that members of my party had already arrived and what table they were on. The staff are attentive and friendly and the food is lovely.

Very enjoyable meal! Despite the circumstances. I had taken my employees for a final meal after closing my business. I was advised this was a good restaurant that catered for different tastes and requirements . The advice was spot on. To have several different tastes within the same group, It was difficult to find somewhere that we could all enjoy. The drinks, non alcoholic and with alcohol. Plus, the range and selection of food ensured that we all enjoyed a final meal and some much needed time together. A big thank you to Mike, our waiter

Very poor service. We received the food without cutlery and the waiting time was annoying. We asked for the desert menu which never arrived. Pircio used to be a good place... Our family went home very disappointed.

Really good service and food. We went for lunch and there was a lunch menu which was great value as well as the full menu. Many varied drinks available including Asahi on draught! Lovely.

I absolutely love pircio! We’ve been coming for years, as a family, girls lunches, dates with other couples.. every single time we’ve had the best experience. Love the team there, the food is amazing, great value, cannot recommend enough - the best! Xx
