Location spot on. Tucked away in Bishops Stortford Town Centre. Very busy on Friday and Saturday. Noisy but you can still have a conversation. If you want it to be less busy ask to be seated upstairs. Staff very attentive. Me and my wife had Garlic Bread with Cheese and Caramelised Onion, Whitebait, Battered Prawns, Chicken Kofte, Pollo Milanese. We had a Coke Zero, Coke and water for the table. Came to about £95 with service charge. Worth it. Food was spot on. Everything was tasty. Portion size for white bait was generous. Prawns could’ve been a bit better on the portions. Chocolate cake for dessert was nice but I’ll try the chocolate fondant next time as I don’t think it’s worth £8 a slice. Second time here and hasn’t disappointed either time.

The food here is fabulous and very good value. The staff were friendly and efficient. The room is amazing and full of interesting art. I cannot recommend it highly enough. My only complaint is that it is an hour and a half's drive from home.

Tucked away but worth a visit. Lots of interesting spaces. A choice of Turkish and Italian menu. Great decor.

This is a lovely restaurant - I had the shish kebab with bulgar rice ( sensational) followed by the baklava and Turkish coffee.. they made a real show and memory for my daughters 12th birthday singing to her in a traditional hat and bringing our extra baklava with a candle - wonderful memory and service - thankyou.

Took mum here for mother's day. Seems all bookings were forgotten about (most likely overbooked) and we had to wait outside in the wind for 20 odd mins. Food selection is decent, priced very well too. However the atmosphere was a bit of a cattle market/school cafe vibe. I get it, it's mother's day and you want to make as much money as possible but I went from thinking I booked an upscale restaurant to realising it's a very standard eatery, just dressed up a little. I probably would eat here again, just not on a holiday

We ate here for the first time today. Restaurant, food, drinks and service were all excellent. Looking forward to a return visit soon.

The monkfish, rare to see on menus recently, has warranted a return visit. Perfectly cooked. It was the staff who truly elevated the evening. The level of service was unbelievable. Dishes arrived simultaneously, hot and flawless, like you’d get at a high-end wedding. To Goham (spelling?) and the team: thank you. Kudos to the Chef(s). Love it when there's a celebration on another table and you feel welcome to join in! Great atmosphere.

Extremely busy and noisy venue, but it was a Saturday evening. I attempted to buy drinks while we were waiting at the bar, but was totally ignored, not even acknowledged. Please place a sign saying 'no bar service'? However, we were shown to a table quite promptly. Service was excellent and the food was very good, hot and delicious. It was a shame that our significant wedding anniversary was completely ignored, even though I'd mentioned it when booking. They made a great fuss of those celebrating birthdays all around us! We would return on a different day when service could maybe be more personal.

Went to Pircio’s with my friends for a meal that I was thinking I’ll enjoy - Having had friends telling me that it was a very nice restaurant but was completely disappointed in the lack of food!! The waiter was acting really weird as to telling us that he can only take drink orders when my friend clearly stated that she wanted to order her food as she was really hungry and I was also fasting. I had very very high expectations with the food as my friends had previously been there and always telling me how nice the food was I ordered a traditional Turkish dish thinking it will be well presented and the portion will be quite similar to the ones I had in other restaurants but I was very disappointed when my food arrived with the lack of portion!! I would also like to add that Pircio may look very stylish and the decor may look pretty but I have been to better restaurants then here. Normally in a Turkish restaurant they would give out starters and hot Turkish bread etc … we just sat there for 15 - 20 mins just looking around and waited a long time for the waiter to come and get our DRINK orders …. The dessert was the only good thing about my meal which was well represented and actually was a good portion. The service charge was another nonsense as we paid £16 for nothing… Overall Would I go again? Don’t think so….

Beautiful setting,friendly and attentive staff, got the balance right. Not at all irritating. Food was incredible. Definitely going back. An Italian menu and a greek/Turkish menu. The Italian was amazing. I will return to try the Greek menu.

To start, atmosphere and service were excellent, very attentive staff! Of the four dishes we ordered, two were very good (pizza polletto and vegetarian boat pide) and two were unfortunately subpar (calamari rubbery and adana kofte seemed to have lots of gristle). All in all an enjoyable visit if you know which dishes to pick.

The service and atmosphere were great. The seating for large groups was a bit snug but manageable.

My family and I come here all the time. The food is always great and the cocktails are strong. We cannot fault the restaurant. They always make sure to celebrate birthdays here too which is lovely.

Nice food and good environment, but there is a waiter talked to me very bossy, sounds like a mentor trying to “TEACH” me how should I finish my food. I guess he is just a very funny guy trying to TEACH a young girl how should she finishes her food in a CORRECT way, very “heartwarming” behavior, so cool that I come to a restaurant to enjoy food and got a free bossy lesson, I learned a lot from him.

Priced at nearly £30, the so-called “lamb cutlets” were a profound disappointment. Instead of the delicate, tender lamb best end chops one would expect from a restaurant of this caliber, I was served gristly lamb middle neck chops—an inferior cut that has no place on a menu at this price point. It’s misleading and frankly unacceptable to market these as lamb cutlets. Furthermore, the service left much to be desired. The waiter unceremoniously threw the plate in front of me without any semblance of courtesy—a gesture that only compounded my dissatisfaction. Pircio presents itself as a Turkish-Italian fusion dining experience, but if they continue to cut corners on quality and service, they will fail to meet even the most basic expectations of a discerning carnivore. I sincerely hope they reconsider their approach to both ingredient selection and customer service, as the current standards do not justify the premium pricing.

Good quick service food was ok, but I don't think it was worth what you paid for its bishops stortford, not central London

Went to pircio last night, Saturday. Omg the food was amazing, I was in love with the lamb cutlets. U have gotta try them. Simply delicious. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Luke the waiter was also brilliant. Would give a 10 for this resturant. Definitely will be my pat day treat.

What an amazing place, a nice number of people in there on a Wednesday lunchtime. which, in my mind, is always a good start. The staff were friendly, efficient, and provided first-class service. The food was amazing. My party of three had the lunchtime 2 course menu for £17.95 and the portion size was just the right amount. The decor is brilliant to look at, beautiful lamps, various statues. They have hit the right amount of eclectic style while still maintaining elegance. The seating was comfortable, and the toilets were spotless. Would throughly recommend, and I will be going back.

Went in for dinner by myself, unusual combination of Turkish and Italian menus in a very unique environment. Service is very good and can recommend the pida and bakalava, chips were a bit disappointing but would definitely recommend.

What an absolute joke. If you are looking for somewhere with great food and good service, this DEFINITELY IS NOT THE PLACE. When we arrived they had completely messed up our reservation, they had no record of it, even though I had called twice to confirm. They stuck us an a small table that was completely useless, the service was shocking, the people that run this place are so rude and dismissive that it’s actually laughable. The place was packed full of 18-25 year olds so I guess they can afford to get away with being rude and offering terrible service, you can clearly tell they don’t really care what the customer thinks.

Great food, good service as always

I've been here several times now, and always enjoy my visit. The place is lively and busy but they have loads of efficient and friendly staff so service is always fast and the food is always fresh and delicious. The lamb kofte is my favourite, but I've also had good pizza here. Today I also had dessert, and particularly enjoyed the chocolate fudge cake with icecream, despite being incredibly full from my main!

Very nice the steak is amazing and they are nice the service is good and if it's your birthday they put a hat on you and sing a song . Decoration lovely the inside is warm .

2 full menus on offer at Pircio, Italian and Turkish, although I assume their focus in Turkish and that's what they should stick to. I ordered a pizza and it was probably 2/5 but everyone else's food looked to be much nicer (they all ordered shish). The baklava was outstanding, not overly sweet and a good size.

Beautiful fusion restaurant is didn't know we needed, turkish and Italian food served in a great building. Food is cooked fresh and fast. Great for groups at it's quite lively so not so great for an intimate dinner for 2 I would say.

I called yesterday to book a table reservation. I made the booking, but today the manager called me from a private number. It is not good manners to call from a private number. This is unacceptable behavior for a restaurant; you need to show respect.

You feel welcome the moment you stepped into the restaurant. Service was quick and excellent. Servers was really attentive and friendly, they kept checking in on us to see if we are happy with the food. There’s 2 sets of menu to choose from, between Italian and Turkish. We ordered Italian and food came within 5 - 8 mins. Serving was generous even for kids meal. I’m positive we will be back

A cool restaurant with delicious Turkish food and kind staff. We went there as a huge group with kids (34 people in total). I tasted lahmacun, pide, etli sarma beyti, chicken shish, liver, and ottoman kadayif. All of those were above average and delicious. I found only the "Old Fashioned" cocktail below average, it could be a bit stronger. The average main dish price is £15-25, average starters price is £5-10. Beers are around £5. Just keep in mind that the restaurant doesn't have a car park. There are some paid car parks nearby.

Beautiful restaurant. It gets incredibly busy. Food is average but it’s a solid compromise for large groups. There are steps into the restaurant. There was a foldable ramp but this wasn’t in use. The staff were really nice and proactive - helping to lift the buggy without being asked.

Pircio was an unforgettable experience! The chicken sheesh was the best I’ve ever had, and everything else, including the chocolate fudge cake, was absolutely amazing. The atmosphere was vibrant, and the personal happy birthday singing made the evening extra special. Highly recommend!

The Italian food in this restaurant is mediocre but the Turkish food looked brilliant. If I return, I’ll try that part of the menu!

This is the third time we’ve been back now - what a great place! The food is amazing, the atmosphere is great but what makes this place is the staff. We were lucky enough to be served by Lucas last night and what a great asset he is to the team. He remembered who ordered what dish, nothing was too much hassle, he questioned a drink choice when a different beer was asked for in error so thanks to him we got the right drink and he even wished us a nice holiday when we left that we mentioned once not long after we sat down. Super impressed and cannot wait to come back. Thank you.

First time visiting area and food was very good.

Popped in for dinner and fortunately was quite quiet. Service was good and very attentive. Food was excellent opted for the mixed grill x2 which could probably feed 4 people. Price i think is fair for quality and quantity. Also was given complimentary Turkish delight and brakhavk as well as Turkish tea. Would definitely go back again, maybe order less next time as not a fan of wasting food.

Good food good service good atmosphere. The only thing I don't like is the service charge added automatically to the final bill. I like to pay what I believe is fair. If the food was rubbish, I'd be pretty peed to leave a tip if the meal didn't warrant it. Lucky for me, the food was great. I know I don't have to pay, but I wouldn't embarrass myself or my family.. However, it was a nice evening, thank you.

This is a fantastic restaurant. The food is excellent; so much to choose from either side of the menu (one side Turkish, the other Italian). The staff are very professional welcoming, and the service is so fast. We were surprised how quickly drinks and food came! I'd recommend booking a table, as it seems to be a popular place. I used to love Pircio and it's great if you want a cheesy night out with the singing birthday and hat that get passed around but the food really isn't that great. I have eaten here a few times and I'm not blown away, there are so many lovely places to eat in town!

The place is stunning, unfortunately too many Happy Birthday singing were going on. Service was professional and friendly. The food could be a bit better. Starter plate was pretty good, but lamb beyti so so. Small portions and meat were a bit chewy. Not bad, but not perfect. Sorry.
