Average taste for a Turkish restaurant. no treats. We even bought the bread after asking.

Fantastic for a fun time with friends and family. We get a takeaway regularly from this restaurant. The staff are very attentive. The food is always good 👍

This is a fantastic restaurant. The food is excellent; so much to choose from either side of the menu (one side Turkish, the other Italian). The staff are very professional welcoming, and the service is so fast. We were surprised how quickly drinks and food came! I'd recommend booking a table, as it seems to be a popular place. We will definitely be back!

I used to love Pircio and it's great if you want a cheesy night out with the singing birthday and hat that get passed around but the food really isn't that great. I have eaten here a few times and I'm not blown away, there are so many lovely places to eat in town!

A stunning venue with great food and friendly, attentive waiting staff. My son has allergies and the waiter was very cautious in checking with the kitchen ahead of ordering and explaining potential allergens. Will be back again!

Great atmosphere and great service

The place is stunning, unfortunately too many Happy Birthday singing were going on. Service was professional and friendly. The food could be a bit better. Starter plate was pretty good, but lamb beyti so so. Small portions and meat were a bit chewy. Not bad, but not perfect. Sorry.

We were in Pircio yesterday evening. Really buzzing. Food was excellent. Lukas was very attentive and efficient. We were passing through otherwise we would definitely be back.

Beautiful setting, both inside and out. Plenty of parking within a short walking distance. Huge menu selection - mainly Italian and Turkish. The portion sizes were good and the food was OK, but a tad overpriced. The kids menu options would be better if they included some veg. Skewered chicken was very dry. A bit of quiet, backround music would have helped improve the atmosphere outside. Far too many staff for the number of customers on the day, yet the service was still questionable, unfortunately. The wine was served with cork floating in it. One of the dishes we ordered should have been "on a bed of tiny fried potatoes", but just came with chips. Nobody asked if our meal was OK or if we needed anything else after serving us. 12.5% service charge automatically added to the bill - always find that a bit presumptuous/cheeky, especially when the service wasn't great. Overall, 3 out of 5 at best. Could be a really great place with a few tweaks. Maybe we just got a bit unlucky on the day.

Another amazing evening at Pircio. All very attentive staff, great service. Food was amazing as always. I can't rate it highly enough. Look forward to our next visit.

The service was really excellent. The food was really really good too. The pina colada was very well made with cream which meant it wasn't watery. Even though it was busy it still seemed private where we were sitting. The fudge chocolate cake reminded me of Bruce in Matilda and it tasted great.

The staff were incredible today, our son is 1 years old and loves people making a fuss of him and that’s exactly what the staff did. It was so lovelly. The waiters were incredible, playing games with him, taking him around the garden, just so good! Greta place for families

The restaurant definitively has a bulletproof reputation of friendliness, high quality food and speed of service, even in busy days. Fantastic the choreography for birthdays. But at high prices, including the 12.5% service charge. Very impressed with the Full Meze, much less with the Cottage Kebab. Next time I will explore other alternatives in Bishops Stortford.

From start to finish made to feel welcome - very accommodating for a wheel chair user and excellent food. Great family owned restaurant who are doing wonders for the Bishop’s Stortford hospitality sector and local jobs.!!

Used to be a really slick place. Food is a bit bland now. It gets very noisy on weekends with lots of birthdays. Service has gone downhill (and they try to charge you for it regardless of your experience). Had a waiter take the wrong drinks order, got told it was my fault, eventually got a replacement drink but it was the same original drink in a different glass 🤯. The Hertford sister restaurant is a better experience currently.

I love Pircio and went there to celebrate my 60th with friends and family. Great Mediterranean and Turkish food, great service and great atmosphere. Be prepared to wear the Birthday hat 🤣🤣🤣

Great service but please!!! Tell your chef not to Over salt the food !!! Very salty My blood pressure was over the roof!! And all my guests were thirty all night It not good! It’s even illegal.

Supposed to be Italian, turned out to be a Turkish Restaurant with Turkish Chef’s??? Why call it an Italian then? Food was awful. I would avoid at all cost, unless you’re happy to chew on rubbish and spend £40+

I came here with 2 friends, we hadn't booked but the staff said no problem and gave us a table outside as they were busy so no tables inside at the time. The menu has plenty of choice, and they also have a vegan and vegetarian menu which I was really pleased about as a vegan. I was interested to try the vegan Turkish boat pide as I hadn't heard of this before, it was very tasty, containing what appears to be vegan cream cheese and accompanied with a side salad. I had the vegan platter alongside this which included 2 falafels, hummus, stuffed vine leaves, olives and a selection of salad/veggies in tomato sauce and a basket of bread. I definitely ordered to much as just one platter/pide would have been enough. The service was fantastic with staff regularly checking in to ensure the food was good. Would recommend!

Lovely restaurant. Mix of Turkish and Italian. Dinner with friends. We were able to talk easily even with a little noise going on. Would recommend.

We came here by mistake and well, it was the best mistake we ever made ! The staff is lovely, the food is excellent and reasonably priced and the place is wonderful: quiet, nicely decorated etc etc. I think everybody should try going here !

I can't give less than one star. that's why I put one star. They took my money and after that they don't answer my calls. I do not recommend it to anyone.

Its a big restaurant with a choice of Turkish or Italian food. A very popular place and one of those places where the staff start off and encourage whooping, clapping and singing for anyone who has a celebration. If you enjoy the 'drunken stag night' type of atmosphere you'll love it.

Food was nice, nothing amazing but nice. Service was weird. I asked for a vegan menu and the waiter literally went to take the regular menu out of my hand. I said I wanted to look at both and he visibly made a face at me and shook his head. Then when it came to ordering I ordered some seabass and a side from the vegan menu and which point he actually started laughing in my face. I have an intolerance to milk and only eat fish, I work in a top restaurant in central London so I know how to navigate a menu and like to take the stress away from the servers when I go out. This guy was just patronising and it made me feel really uncomfortable, I was with my family celebrating my brothers birthday too. I look young for my age but I’m a 30 year old woman and I truly believe the waiter would have not acted in this way had I been an old white man. Never in my life at nice restaurants have I been laughed at in my face by a waiter. It’s really put me off coming back which is a shame as it’s a lovely location. But I think I’ll stick to dining out in London where people are a little less ignorant.

Great from start to finish...lovely decor the staff were brilliant being both attentive and patient giving good tips on not over ordering as the portions are ample. Food didn't disappoint and they even gave a separate gluten free menu! We had a great time for my friends birthday, the staff all clap and sing happy birthday separately for each customer celebrating ...whatever the celebration. Great

Excellent food and service. We visited this restaurant for a birthday dinner and were pleasantly surprised with the whole experience. The food and service were both excellent. The restaurant is quite big with plenty of seating indoors as well as outdoors. I can see it getting quite busy here on the weekends or in the summer when the outside seating is available. Overall an excellent experience and I would definitely recommend this place. We will be returning soon.

Its a lovely place with good food and I have been a number of times without intolerances/allergies. However, as I have a child with dairy and soy intolerance, this time I had a restricted menu which is fine, but the lack of understanding of allergies is a concern. I was rudely told by the waiter there “maam, in giving u dairy free, gluten free, everthing free” in a rude manner after I questioned to double check allergens especially soya. I was given an allergen menu initially which was good but i felt they were annoyed by my request even if it wasn’t too busy (the bread was not checked).

An enjoyable experience for a family birthday. They have a special thing they do around birthdays and lots of dinners were getting involved. Not everyone likes that, but it adds to a lively atmosphere. Hard to have a good intimate chat though. There were lots of gluten free options.

Food and drinks were amazing! Our waiter was so lovely. However, I came back after I left because I had left something behind. The lady at the front was very lovely about it and took me back to my table to have a look. The men However were very rude, one of the waiters pulled the chair over my foot and didn’t apologise and one said behind my back “ I’m not surprised they left something behind” very rude and childish of them was such a shame to end my birthday night like that!

Love, Love, Love this place. Haven't been for a few months, but went last night for a 50th Birthday and it was fantastic. I do remember it being good, but last night was on another level, food, atmosphere, service, all were fantastic. The vibe is brilliant and choice of food amazing, Italian, Turkish, Greek, European, not sure where they keep it all stored, but definitely something to please every taste?! Well done guys for making it such a wonderful evening.

I can't thank the team at pircios enough for their service and making sure that my twin girls had a special 16th birthday meal with their friends. Will definitely be back soon
