Started eating here in 2003, it's a family run easy going restaurant. Hand made pizza, good pasta, wine and beers.

First time at this wonderful Italian restaurant but it won't be the last. Fantastic food. The people are so friendly and helpful. Great atmosphere. Superb.

greatly disappointed, eaten here many times before and loved it, But yesterday wow, Staff outside smoking, that lingered into the restaurant Food was unedible ! Wine tasted off ! Service was appalling ! When we paid our bill we gave our opinions and the manager just stood there and listened but made no attempt to come over and try to rectify any of the problems. Will not be going back again !!

I don't think an authentic Italian restaurant should serve illumenous lemonchello from aldi for £6 and serve it warm in a shot glass. I was expecting homemade and got mass produced. Also no baby charging facilities and sent to tesco. Probably won't come back. How hard is it to make pasta from scratch?

A smallish restaurant but with a great menu and great service. Family owned and run and still take pride in the dishes served - one of our favourites in Ware

Had a delicious lunch here on Saturday, the staff were so attentive and food was fab! Our 2 year old niece loved the spaghetti!

Lovely local family restaurant.

First visit Friday 16/2. Initial impression was that the premises are in dire need of a refurb. Decor really is dated and tired as is the basic furniture. Service was warm and friendly but the highlight was the food. My partner and I shared three starters (calamari, prawns and bruschetta) all of which were delicious and the mains were wonderful too. My partner had the Sfizio chicken and I had a steak. Couple of beers and a bottle of wine and the bill came to just over £100 but felt it was worth it. Will definitely return.

The food was excellent as always. The new plates that my food was served on really looked great, making a change from the plain white that you normally get. Well done.

Very disappointed, the lasagna had next to no meat and just not authentic at all! Also asked for a margarita with bell peppers and got home to find pepperoni on it and to top it off £3.75 for a can of Diet Coke 🤔. Definitely won’t be going back!

Bland food, really no care has gone into it - I had a steak and sautéed potatoes which were burnt on the outside and almost raw in the centre. There was so much to choose from on the menu which is an instant concern for me. Service was fine, nothing to write home about though. Last decorated no doubt early 00s with a lump of what looked like butter on the wall?? House wine wasn’t the best but all in all, it was cheap.

Great family run restaurant. Really good selection, and we certainly felt that each of our main courses had been freshly cooked and were piping hot. I can't abide luke warm food. We were there for them opening at midday and the only people in the restaurant to start with, this makes it difficult to comment on the atmosphere but the staff were very friendly and I would definitely return or recommend to family and friends. Homemade Tiramasu was delicious. Prices very reasonable.

In my opinion the best Italian food in Ware. Lunch deal is great value and the pizzas are very good but my favourite is the Calzone with meat balls in.

I've been here before, and it doesn't disappoint! The food is amazing and the staff are welcoming and friendly. I had the gamberoni alla griglia and the orata alla griglia...it was absolutely delicious!

Went for lunch with my brother on a Saturday. He was extremely impressed with this lovely family run restaurant tucked away in a side street. My brother had calamari which he described as some of the best he’d had. Everything was very fresh and well cooked. My husband and I often enjoy a lovely meal here and have done over the years so it was nice to share the pleasure of this fab place with family. Very family focused and welcoming with good service and no rushing you. Would definitely recommend!

Great Italian cuisine and really good value ! My wife and I went there for an anniversary meal and couldn't fault the food - all of which arrived promptly and was piping hot, which I really liked. The restaurant itself looks a little plain inside with bare wooden tables and chairs and just a few scenic paintings on the walls, but in a way that was good because you didn't feel you were on airs and graces, so you could relax, The staff were very prompt and attentive and we were served quickly with no fuss. Between us we ordered a simple spaghetti bolognese and a canelloni, plus a side order of flatbread, all of which were delicious ! Considering that we had two drinks for starters, plus a glass of house red and an amaretto coffee to finish, the final bill was very reasonable, coming in at under £69 - I thought that was really good value. This place is a little gem hidden up a side street in Ware but is well worth seeking out - we will definitely go again !

Honestly & wholeheartedly shocking, I can cook better Italian food than this restaurant, wow, stick to restaurants you know or Prezzo, had second thoughts before entering and our gut feelings were confirmed. We all have different taste buds but we all can’t be wrong in our group. Should be on Kitchen Nightmares. Hate giving bad reviews but this takes the biscuit! 0/10 BE”WARE” in WARE, a bit of staff intimidation was thrown in also!!!! which was very unfortunate and uncomfortable.

What a fantastic little restaurant. The real deal, family run. Tucked away in the town, you can park directly opposite, if not, Tesco has 3hrs free parking not 100m away. The sea food is absolutely top notch. A very welcoming, cosy restaurant. No pretentious fakery and not a single crazy price to be seen. 3 of us, 2 courses, sides and plenty of beer, £108! Excellent. A restaurant which undoubtedly has many regulars, plus one now, ofcourse👍p

It's a low key restaurant, nothing fancy, food was ok, bit lacking in flavour. Dishes that had chilli listed on menu, didn't arrive with any. Staff pleasant and food arrived promptly.

I am sorry to say this but it was such a let down. The toilet was so dirty that I was petrified to imagine how the kitchen looks like. Surely you want to clean toilets for the customers… The food was really average comparing to other Italian restaurants in the area. Poor choice of the menu ( which also could do with a clean up ). Sorry guys but a bit of a standard is very much needed as you are serving food. We didn’t want to be disc respectful and just walk out but maybe we should have. I hope you improve 🙏

A group of 11 of us had a fantastic lunch at Sfizio. The food was wonderful - really tasty and fresh. The service was great and we all had a marvellous time. Thank you Sfizio for making our Christmas lunch so special.

A really welcoming restaurant. The food was very good, and my grandson was treated like a little prince. I noticed that the other customers with children were given a similarly warm welcome, so it made for a great experience.

We came here for dinner and got the penne pasta with chilli & added chicken and then the pollo milanese. Good portion sizes and didn't take long to be served. Service was friendly and prompt. I had chilli penne and found it to not be spicy at all but was kindly offered to have more chilli added if I wanted. We found the pasta sauce flavours to be underwhelming but did the job. Good prices.

We thoroughly enjoyed our meal here early on a Saturday evening. The restaurant was pleasantly busy and had a nice homely atmosphere. The menu was varied and was realistically priced. We thoroughly enjoyed our main course and dessert and are looking forward to going back next time we are in the area.

Came here on an early evening on Saturday and whilst it was busy it was not overly busy. The service was very pleasant and polite and also always very attentive. The food tasted great and the portions were a good size even the kids sized meals. All of the food was well cooked and the liver I had was excellent. This was my first visit here and I would happily return and would recommend to anyone.

Nice food went for lunch deal from £5. The only £5 option was margarita pizza which my children shared. Most options was £8.50. I like the Italian music, pictures on the wall and service was good.

Such a lovely place! Our son wanted Italian for his birthday meal and we wanted to stay local-can’t believe we haven’t been here before! Lovely staff and gorgeous, honest food. Even our menu changes were accommodated with no problem: Doors to the street were open and felt like we were at a little holiday restaurant! Can’t wait to go back 😊

Had the Ravioli with spinach and ricotta, absolutely amazing best ever , my husband had the lamb shank special, fabulous and filling , dessert was profiteroles, lemon cheesecake and banoffee pie , so so yummy tasted homemade,, can't wait to come back, 100% recommend, and great value for money compared to all the other Italian restaurant we frequent

We got a takeaway pizza here when our usual favourite place was closed. I had read recommendations on Facebook but never eaten here before. I’m afraid it was dreadful, the dough was not fully cooked, still soft and stretchy, but even worse- it was the most tasteless thing I’ve ever eaten! I tried adding black pepper and chilli oil at home but it was still just so plain, no flavour from the tomato sauce and the cheese was yellow, not like normal mozzarella. I’m afraid I won’t be eating here again, as Zero’s is just so good. Very disappointed.

was looking forward to a nice Italian meal! Starters were nice and good sized portions. However the main meal was not nice at all. The veal escalope looked as though it had been left over from lunchtime and reheated. The saltimboca was lacking a decent veal portion. My son could not eat the veal escalope the waitress asked if everything was OK and when told 'NO' no apology was received. The whole thing was rushed and we felt they were trying to rush us through to get others in. Our table booking was for 6pm and we were back in stevenage by 7.30.

Lovely bank holiday surprise, cycling along the river we stopped in ware for some lunch. Remembering this place from a previous visit thought we would try for a table (4 adults / 2 children) the owner although was busy managed to find us a table with no fuss. Service was excellent. Prices very reasonable. The food was so so tasty . The restaurant is authentic Italian in every way. Will definitely be coming back.

Been a couple of times. Not fantastic decor or ambience but that can and should be allowed if the food is great.It isn't. It's average.Pizzas were OK. Nothing to write home about. Had the sprats for starters and they are clearly out a bag in the freezer. Beavey on the batter. Not a light dusting over fresh fish which is what I was hopinf for.Wine was OK. Again, nothing special.I was expecting more.Still looking for that banging authentic independant Italian that you'd go back to again and again.Sfizio's is OK. Nothing more though.

On a balmy August evening, this felt like an authentic family run Italian restaurant. Prompt service, fabulous food, and great value.

Very nice place! I'm Italian and I'm very skeptical when going to Italian restaurants abroad but I must say that this place is very nice. The owner was very cordial and professional.I had a nice linguine with seafood whilst my wife chose the tortellini and they were delicious. Potions are big, we were so full that we couldn't try the homemade tiramisu. We will be back!

Tucked away in a side street off the Main Street in Ware is this fabulous restaurant. Serving traditional Italian fare – cibo di cuore (food from the heart), a claim that they make and well deserved. Their lasagne is a dish that, in my estimation, is the best outside of Italy. Nice photographs of the Almafi coast decorate the rooms and the service is second to none. Friendly, yet professional. I believe they have music nights to accompany the good food. We will probably try that one night in the future.

Great little Italian restaurant in Ware. Feels like being in a busy cafe in Italy. Friendly and welcoming. Buzzing atmosphere for a Wednesday lunchtime. Great value lunch menus. House wine is fab, and cheap. Recommended. We will be back; probably next week.

Came across this lovely little restaurant whilst walking through ware, so decided to pop in for some lunch. We were shown to a table straight away with a very friendly approach from the waiter. We shared a lovely bottle of wine and ordered a main each. Absolutely lovely. I had the linguine alla pescatora and my partner had the 10oz sirloin. Both meals were very filling and beautifully cooked. Both owners were very friendly and amusing. Will definitely go back.

Dined here with a colleague whilst in Ware on business. Just off the main road it would be easy to miss if you weren't specifically looking for it. Traditional Italian menu, but extensive with additional specials and good wine list. We were lucky as we got the last unreserved table, this place is clearly in demand even on a wednesday night in December. Food was really good, big portions, hot, and delicious with traditional Italian hospitality and humour. Also prices were incredibly reasonable for the great quality. Highly recommended.

As always, a great meal was had. We visit fairly regularly. The waiters are all very friendly and courteous.

Always a good shout for the lunchtime special, great value, fast service for the lunch menu. I miss that they don't have the sandwich anymore on the menu, their pasta is always good, you can always rely on the quality, this is a tried and tested place to eat which is always consistently good.

We recently went to Sfizio when staying at Fanhams Hall Hotel nearby. It was a delicious Italian meal with lots of choice. The service was also excellent.

I literally love Italian food my favourite by far so I’m so fussy when it comes to my pasta, this place is absolutely beautiful the food is unreal the pasta is made with love and it’s up on my top 5 Italian restaurants; this family business should be proud of themselves x

We absolutely adore Sfizio! Their margarita pizzas are the best I've ever had, and I'm a massive pizza lover. For their lunchtime weekday menu, you can get a big margarita pizza plus a salad/garlic brad for just £5 and it's delicious! Highly recommended.

... but was disappointed. The service was fast and he seemed uninterested. The food was bland and not presented well. There was no atmosphere. the dining tables looked like they belonged in a cafe. Sorry but I won't be recommending, nor coming back.

Went on Saturday night (27th Oct), a lovely family run restaurant, food , ambiance and service all excellent. Would highly recommend. All food freshly cooked on the premises with specials available, great tiramisu!!!
