Fish Inn Kebab in East Hertfordshire

We had this meal for our conjoined wedding anniversary celebrations and we all enjoyed it thoroughly. So thank you very much. Fantastic food.

I cannot express how impressed I am with the incredible service from this restaurant. I was running late on my way to the hotel, and the owner and his team went above and beyond by kindly waiting to ensure I received my food and the food itself was absolutely delicious! I was so grateful for their kindness!

Delicious food and great portion size! I got the deal which included doner meat, chips, salad, two pieces of chicken and a drink. I got two meals out of this!

avoid this place like the plauge food poison heaven not cooked savaloys fish not cooked raw chips waited over 2hrs and not even edible half the order wrong no offer of a discount staff rude and driver smells go to kings kebabs hatfield heath been to this fish in 8 times thought would give them a chance and nah still rotten food everytime will be contacting health and safety

We ordered cod and chips and haddock arrived which we hate. We made our own food at home because we were hungry and called the restaurant. They said yes we sent you haddock because we were busy but I haven’t yet received a refund.

I am very disappointed with the size of the chicken kebab. It cost £12 and had 6 little pieces of chicken in a pitta bread . The kebab is really a rip-off. We had burgers and chips which was great and good value.

Outstanding value for money, very lucky to have such a great takeaway in the neighbourhood. Fast delivery service. Good portions and a good quality to go with it. Have had the Fried Chicken set meal and Cod and Chips so far. Looking forward to trying more in the years to come.

Kebab was nice but fried chicken was pink, they kindly gave me extra piece for free but uncooked. The chips tasted like flour, which is surprising for fish n chippy. Shame as heard amazing things about this place. Might just be one off

I ordered at 20:20 delivery time was supposed to be btween 21:20 and 21:50 the food arrived at 20:50 The order was correct and delivered with a smile. A big thumbs up for them. I will order from them again

We are always ordering from this place, they’re soooo good. Even thought they got one of our orders wrong tonight, we rang them and they soon came over with the right meal, at no extra charge. Couldn’t fault them.

Fish and chips much more greasy than usual and batter was soggy. Disappointing because we have always been pleased with other orders .from here.

We ordered late and were surprised to find that they were still taking orders. The meal arrived 20 minutes before the eraliest expected delivery time. The driver was friendly and the kebabs were up to their normal high standard. We enjoy using them for both collections and deliveries and always get a friendly welcome 5 stars are not enough

The usual very quick delivery with large portions of excellent quality fish and chips

we ordered from Fish Inn Kebab a couple of weeks ago yes the food was early but the quality was extremely poor we ordered 2 items, a donner kebab and haddock and chips the meat in the kebab was so dry and shriveled up it was inedible, the haddock was not haddock I'm not sure what it was it was tasteless white fish both meals went in the bin, I made a complaint to Just Eat and so far nothing has happened not even an apology.

We don’t get our fish and chips, burgers or kebabs from any other shop in town as this place is just exceptional when it comes to food quality and taste and how polite the staff are. We never want this place to change in anyway, just keep doing what you’re doing.

As usual the service and food were excellant apart from a small error by the driver of forgetting to deliver the cold drink for which she apologised and handed it to me when I asked. I will be using them again as we always get friendly service when we go in there.

Usual quick delivery, food was ok but not up to the usual standard. Fish batter soggy and chips a bit greasy compared to the usual.

Delivered quickly. Way to many chips which were undercooked (white) and soaked up in fryer oil.

I ordered just after 4:30pm to be delivered as soon as possible and when the order was complete, the order said delivery would be from 5:30pm. Received the order circa 5pm. The order didn’t look or smell the best. Chips were a bit dry. The meal just didn’t look that fresh. My son’s gherkins didn’t appear appetising and neither of us would eat them. The cheese on my son’s cheesy chips was barely melted. My son wasn’t keen on his meal. I won’t order fish and chips from Fish Inn Kebab again. Thorley is better. Pineapple pudding would have been better put into a paper bag. They had gone soggy in the plastic box.

Have used them for a long time now, used to collect from shop but now have trouble walking so have been having delivery. The person that delivers is very polite and nice. Thank you for the good food and delivery. Top Class

Very happy with The Fish Inn, have used them for a long time now, used to collect until unable to do it and the staff were alway pleasant and always good quality food, so pleased to see that they still use proper rolls and not the sweet brioche, please keep it that way. Extremely small portion on the grilled chicken. Way too much chips. Delivery driver didn't enter country code when provided with so didn't reach my phone. Had to call the restaurant to get my food after waiting over an hour.

Great as always, however you forgot our two extra drinks that we paid for 🥲 we should of got two with the meals and then an extra two that we paid £4 for. But great food etc otherwise!

I often order from here and the quality and portion sizes are always excellent. Unfortunately, on this occasion, the chicken was very dry and the haddock was very thin and more medium sized rather than large as requested.
