Came for lunch today and was served by Hayley who kindly checked we’d put in our car number plates so we got free parking. She was very friendly. We had the two course set lunch which was good value for £13.99 and you still get the free salad bar. Lovely lunch, will return soon.

Staff is very friendly, food is good. Definitely a nice atmosphere, with customers that go almost every day. We visited with our dog, totally loved it

Greeted by a pretty cold unfriendly receptionist. Was told we had to produce Id which was news to us. I asked if she wanted me to nip back home to Yorkshire to get it, that fell on deaf ears. I’m Quickly learning at this point not to try and lighten the mood with an attempt at a joke. Anyway luckily our son had a pic of my passport from a trip he’s organising. We went to our room which was a twin and looked more like the cleaning cupboard size wise. The beds and bedding were real comfortable 👍. The shower although powerful was a waste as the shower tray didn’t empty fast enough and would soon have overflowed. The room was generally tired and uninviting. May have to stay again when we visit friends as there isn’t an abundance of accommodation on Canvey. If there was we would use it. Sorry Oyster fleet, must try harder.

Amazing food and even better service. Staff are brilliant and can’t do more for their guests. Food is 10/10 everything we’ve ever had has been so tasty. Would highly recommend.

Waited over 2 hours for food when told it would be 50 minutes. Then got told it’s on its way then waited another half hour. When food finally arrived it was like warm so didn’t take the food off the driver. £50 order as well. Shame as their food is nice. Will be trying elsewhere in future

Shampan now last 2 years now named Everest Tandoori-could not find a listing under the new name…. We have been using this very local takeaway for over 18 months now and the food has been good but the service has been appalling we have had the wrong food delivered, we have collected only to get home to find dishes missing on 2 occasions. This time we waited nearly 90 minutes at 6pm on a Sunday. I called up to be told it was on its way only for it to be another 15 mins and I can walk there in 2 minutes. Maybe one more try and that’s it…..ridiculous service 😩

Much improved food quality from 2 years ago with new owner. Like most Chinese takeaways, the same menu for the last 60 years.

Utterly disappointed with how we was treated, food turned up up soggy tasteless and full of oil phoned back to complain was told we could have another delivery to see if any better and agin the same food turned up was then told we could have a refund and how sorry they were was told to make sure we keep the food which we did hours went past no refund the next evening we phone back to ask where the refund is and was told we was never allowed a refund £50 worth of Chinese still sitting on the kitchen side to be picked up was spoken to horrendously no apology nothing so no food and no refund discusting really wouldn’t use this place I know loads of people myself that have had same problems and will also not be returning utterly shocking the customer service is discusting and so is the food if I could score lower I would

We often go here when in Canvey, used to be good, then it never seemd to be open for a long time. Now seems to have new owners. Anyway, we all ordered a breakfast, I asked for mushrooms on mine, which weren't normally on that one. When the food arrived, everything seemed OK, tepid, not hot, except my mushrooms: instead of the soft juicy little fellas I usually expect, these were like crisps! They were so hard I couldn't eat them!

Tried 16 times to call the restaurant to chase up a order of just 2 pizzas on a Sunday. No answer, order never came. Took my money though. Will now have to visit store. SHOCKING CUSTOMER SERVICE., this is why dominoes is better

Great kebabs and chips. Tasted fresh. The best kebab in a long time. Will certainties from there again
