Cosmos Benfleet in Castle Point

Have not received my order and can’t get through to the restaurant

food arrived on time but took a long while. The order was missing chips which was strange as they were not on the receipt on the bag but could see them on my order on just eat (just eat refunded). Food wasn’t that great, we had two mixed kebabs. Chicken was so dry and was different to normal and the kebab meat just wasn’t that great. Disappointing

The salad was missing on the kebab, which was disappointing, as i love the salad and always buy extra salad, but the kebab and chips were lovely

Operating out of another branch, not clear on website of this. No way to contact them to closed branch

Waited 2 hours for delivery - phones not answered. Will not order again

the delivery time was so long. the food was not up to it's usual standard. little disappointed.

Delivered within given timeframe but was still more than hour from ordering

They called us to say Benfleet was closed and we would have to pay for delivery, so we collected from the canvey and we had to ask for the salad and chips only got one salad after ordering two only to be told that is two in one box the food was rough chucked most of it away.

Food arrived cold, no drink included as they had run out. Told that when we next order we can have a drink free

An absolute joke! A different Cosmos had taken our order as our local was closed. Food turned up stone cold been ready 40 minutes. Worst £40 ever spent, never again!

Portion size seems to have become less recently, but otherwise good

This is a little gem of a shop in the hub of Benfleet reasonable prices BUT the food is letting the place down as it is so bland there is no flavour to sauces or meats. Tried kebab and chicken kebab won’t be back soon although will try again perhaps in the future to see if the food has improved.

My friend got an upset stomach form the chicken but the pizza deal is the best however when we was mucked around we did get upgraded to the bigger pizza

The chicken Shiah was dry, Kofte dry and over cooked. Chicken wings so chilli they unpleasant and we enjoy hot food. Edible but would not order again. Disappointed.

Food labelled as delivered and hadn’t been had to ring the shop they then said it was on its way food was pretty cold and average won’t be returning

Appalling service. Pizza delivered over an hour late . Replacement delivered an hour and a half later and stone cold again. Manager dismissive and rude. Don't take orders if you can't commit to delivering what you advertise. Cosmos you've let your customers down badly !!!

Appalling service, advertised delivery within 30 mins of oing order, then changed to over an hour when the food was finally delivered only to be stone cold. Rang restaurant to be told they will deliver another pizza but it will take over an hour !!! Will never use again

Food had no taste chicken wings was under cooked pizza was very bland not enough fillings. - shame won’t be using it again.

Order said it was on the way at 5.40, at 6.30 I called and said it hadn't arrived and was too late now and the older man was really rude and abusive. It turns out that at 5.40 they sent it to the wrong address. The food was cold when arrived.

Bit disappointed in the lack of chicken on our bbq chicken pizza, it was more sweetcorn than anything else . On the positive side , it was hot.

Chilli sauce could be hotter .chicken shish could have abit more flavour. All food was cooked well lamb,chicken,donner,chips,pizza 👌

This takeaway in Benfleet does amazing pizzas. Also their lamb doner wrap kebabs with chips are excellant. They are very large and filling. This shop closed september 2022 for about 6 months we really did miss it. Now its back so pizza is back on our menu. A place we'll worth a visit.

It was over cooked, chicken dry,lamb burn,t! Pitta bread over cooked and I asked for 1 chilli sauce and 1 garlic mayo! They delivered 2 mayo instead

Recommend Cosmos. Food excellent and so much, Beautifully cooked, salad so fresh. Definitely try this.

The food was delivered 10 mins after it was estimated, however, I had received notification about 40 mins prior to say food was on its way (I live max 10 min drive in traffic ). Food is usually really good but it was cold. Very disappointing.

Recently we have taken over a construction site, so we thought we go for a meal. Cosmo pizza and kebab was on the list to visit. To be honest we are happy there were seven lads, all nice and well cooked and the governor looked after us. Thank you ❤️🇹🇷🇹🇷🇹🇷🇹🇷🇹🇷

The food was delivered with efficiency however the cheesy chips none of the cheese was on the chips it was separate and just a block of cheese melted together. Therefore I would like a refund for the cheesy chips.

First time ordering since they reopened and was not disappointed! Very happy with all we ordered.

Worst takeaway I’ve ever had ! We ordered Hawaiian pizza , 3 pieces of pineapples 3 pieces of ham . It had the strangest taste “ that was not pizza “ ? The whole family couldn’t eat it ! Chicken wings that was so spicy 🌶️ you just couldn’t put it in your mouth! The kebab was edible and thats about it , only because we was hungry! . Never order again

Absolutely terrible. This wasn't a kebab!!! Worst I've ever had and will NEVER order from these again. Chicken kebab, pitta was soaking wet, chicken was so hard and dry it tasted disgusting and you could chuck it at the wall and it would bounce back at you! chilli sauce what there was of it was like water.

Best takeaway me and my parents have had in ages! Generous with portions and we ordered mediums, very quick and great quality. Will be our go to kebab place from now on 👌

It was really nice food We ordered a comos mix lots of food and really tasty

I don’t know how this food was sent out today abysmal and disgusting. The hot dog was two barely cooked not hot sausages on a massive bit of bread. Not in a bun or even a tortilla. The ketchup in the hotdog was all over the wrapping paper and bread. If you don’t have the ingridents to cook a hotdog eg an actual roll let me know or don’t accept the order? The burger bun was wet and soggy. The chips were brown and overcooked wouldn’t even feed them to my dog. On ur menu it stated order a sauce for the inside of the kebab wrap and then a pot of sauce. I asked for garlic Mayo in the wrap and a pot of chilli. Instead I got a wrap that wasn’t even wrapped up covered in chilli sauce dripping out and no garlic Mayo sauce at all. The only things I could enjoy from my order was the cans of Pepsi. Safe to say I’m never ordering from here again. And please don’t respond to this with a snarky comment like you do the other reviews. Absolutely diabolical food.

Fodder was early and hot. But very soggy and kebab was to spicy for me. When I've had it before it's never spicy.

Food was cold even though we phoned to make sure it was hot as a pregnant woman would be eating it, when we rang the woman was rude, no one was helpful and I wont be ordering from there again

As always great delivery time, the driver was the owner tonight so was great to meet him. Once the kebab size is insane huge and bread is fresh not a pita its much better. Best kebab shop by a mile

Terrible service haut ordered and they forgot the sauces and drink and one of the meats missing from the platter. Food delivered cold and when calling to ask for it to be rectified they tell Me they have been busy and now shutting so they can’t do anything about it! No offer for a refund and terrible customer service won’t be ordering again!!!

I’ve only given one star because I have to to leave this review. I’ve always let their mistakes go as have used them for years but tonight i think the left their customer services at home! Girl on the phone took the order down incorrectly that’s ok we are only human but we sort our errors out but no not cosmos! You call nicely to be told no they won’t send another pizza despite it it being their error. No drivers… well wait until one gets back? If i wanted just a tin of sweetcorn on bread I’d have done this myself at home! also please note that you have charged for a whole pizza of farmhouse. More ingredients on one side! Shocking customer services and not a care give it was the well that’s what you got attitude. Remember we have paid for this pizza it’s wasn’t free!

Oh my word, best kebab we've ever had from Cosmos! Portion sizes are huge, meat soft and tender and the flatbread instead of pitta was out of this world! Rice and salad too, just delicious!!

Delivery time always pretty fast. Driver also always polite… now one thing i must say!!! The portion sizes are INSANE HUGE… if buy like XL Kebab cos you starved want to be filled up you might regret buying this size as i feel i am bit of pig and this kebab can feed me for 3 days, it really is huge!!! I think Cosmos needs to be put forward for some sort of reward for the biggest kebab size in Britain :) anyway also the kebabs are top quality as well… for me i do wish they would put the sauces and salad on the kebab NOT in separate boxes but i guess no room cos size of kebabs. I do hope you all agree with me and this feedback helps you to decide to buy from Cosmos as they are a great takeaway i love them and been buying here many many years now

Pizza was ok, stuffed crust was the thinnest layer of cheese ever, like always they forgot part the order so had to wait over an hour for everything to arrive after 3 calls. Sometimes the food really good, sometimes it isn’t, but every time they will forget at least 1 item you have ordered.
