KFC Tarpots - London Road in Castle Point

Chicken as always good but once again the chips . Just looked not appealing and warm . Other places get it right hot and nice . Why can’t this shop get it right always the same

Chips had to go in microwave. Burger ok. Was told £10 more like £13

order took an hour from payment to delivery. Food was lukewarm and was only delivered from restaurant 5 minutes away from my home therefore would expect it to be hot on arrival

I did not receive my chips I managed to tell the driver he said it was KFC fault and he would raise a complaint then deliver the chips if they realise the error. By the time that happens the burgers will be gone. Not good enough

This place is likely to go out of business soon. You can only order at one of the screens now???? Didn’t bother and went else where. Customer service obviously doesn’t exist these days. Additional to my previous review. Head office say that you can’t do customer service. Well done kfc head office. Dominoes has my custom instead. Much better 🤣🤣🤣

did not receive all of the order 2 x large beans was not delivered

Didn’t receive the full amount of beans and replaced with gravy, which I do not like so have had to pay for something I cannot eat. Also had 2 drinks missing so not impressed

They never delivered my order and I was trying to help them locate my house!!! I’m furious this happens all the time and just eat just ignore

Today's delivery was very disappointing, as I ordered a 10 piece sharing bucket and was given 6 leg pieces and 4 thigh pieces and no breast pieces. not an even amount of chicken pieces. when you go in the shop to order they say they have to give you an even amount and they can't not give you no legs at all, yet it's not the case visiverser, not a far deal won't be ordering that again.

Very poor chicken wings. The food were just warm when delivered. The wings were all dried and not-fresh. One of the worst KFC experience I ever had. Delivery took 75 mins to arrive from time of ordering.

I chose for the delivery be 1630. But the edt was between 1610 - 1630. It arrived at 1620, which I wasn’t ready for. And was caught doing something.

The delivery time just kept increasing from a proposed 15-20mins it became over an hour wait. (the restaraunt being a 5 minute drive away).

Asked for no buttermilk dressing due to allergies, meal turned up with the sauce smothered all over it. Straight in the bin

the driver did not knock on the door to say that he arrived, they just left the food on the doorstep without telling me. by the time I knew my food was there, it was cold

No pop corn chicken that o ordered

Went here last night. No one at the tills so use the electronic ordering machine. Card reader faulty so you have to take receipt to tills to pay anyway. Fair enough, technology breaks down every now and then. 15 minutes of staff totally ignoring me despite coming to the counter multiple times. Not even eye contact or a " be with you shortly" to acknowledge my existence! Just left in the end and went to Progress Road instead. No technical issues and served food within a couple of minutes. Won't bother trying tarpots branch again. Customer service is an unknown to those staff. Last time I went here they completely screwed my order up but I thought try again. My mistake!!

Missing chips and recipt, asked for no lettuce and Slaw and got more of both than the burger and chicken. I don't know why I order from this place anymore, they always miss items or get my order wrong or it turns up cold.

Every time I come to this KFC, I’m greeted to employees being incredible loud and lazy. Today I go in to eat inside, 7 employees I see and a total of 7 tables dirty with nobody cleaning them (was not busy standing around) I always go in and hear the staff they so loud and annoying. Today I’m greeted to a lovely conversation about a “fat customer who came in earlier that day with domino’s” and another employee talking about how we might as-well be shut we make £200 only from 9pm. It’s not meant to be a prestige place but my god the employees here are so young and loud and just lazy. Whoever the manager is needs to fix up and look at this. Been an issue for months now. Good also was cold as all precooked as usual.

At busy times they ask that you place your order on the 2 electronic screens. I wasn't able to find what I wanted, so one of the staff members came from behind the counter to assist me with my order. I may aswell have ordered from the counter in the 1st place. Other people came in and had similar problems or couldn't finalise their payment. It ended up being counter productive. The staff are helpful, but it was just a bit of a waste of time. The food was good and as expected and even when we got home it was still fairly hot. Scrap the automated ordering system, it's not fit for purpose.

yet again kfc never cease to amaze me by there low standards regarding delivery. I ordered 3 mini fillet burgers sweet chilli bites chicken fillet burger meal 1 coke 1 tango. but I get the correct drinks no chicken fillet burger meal 2 chicken fillets 1 mini fillet burger & poor portion ov fries ..never again

What is the point of an estimated delivery time that keeps changing? In our case, one and three quarter hours after original delivery time!! The chicken was luke warm and the chips cold and inedible!!! Very, very disappointed

I ordered of just eat my order got cancelled I ordered again 5 mins later ,ordered again and food came 25 mins later opened it to enjoy and firstly it was cold the only thing that was warm was the beans also found hairs and couldn’t be me becasue im bald

I asked for no Mayo on one of the mini fillet burgers but it still came with Mayo. I don't believe they read any notes. so be careful when ordering from here.

We were really looking forward to this meal, but was extremely disappointed when unpacking to find that we had been given yet again 4 legs of chicken instead of 2 legs and 2 other portions of chicken. Two of the legs had very little chicken on them. This is not the first time this has happened. However when we collect, we always seem to get very decent portions of chicken together with legs. Therefore, we are not very happy as we pay a lot more for delivery, which we expect, but we also expect the food to be justfied to the price.

Didn't recieve the correct meal order was completely wrong. Deliver driver wasn't interested and when we phoned the restaurant they kept hanging up on us. Disgusting service never again

Technology over load. When tired and hungry and just need a couple of pieces of KFC I don't need to stand in line behind a group of youths that can't make their mind up what they want on a computerised menu/ordering on a wall. Staff are standing around when they could be serving tired and hungry people. Sorry but I for 1 will probably never use Tarpots KFC ever again! World's gone mad! If its not broke, it dont need fixing! Good ol customer service will always win through. Ordering on a computer and I think CARD ONLY' is a disaster for Tarpots KFC!

when ever I order food it's only KFC, and on several occasions in my experience the service has been very very poor. the chips were cold ,the fillet burger was good but unfortunately they forgot to case the bun around the chicken ( hence no bun) no slaw. I'll be keeping well clear of KFC tarpots benfleet from now on...
