The best restaurants in Theobalds Broxbourne East of England

We had recently ordered a birthday cake for me so we went for a coffee and small cakes. Highly recommended for the cakes and superb coffee.

The best food as I eat in my life

Amazing food, fast and friendly service. I can’t enough of the pork giro wraps, they’re a banger! If ever I’m driving by I’ll park up across the road and grab one to go. They hardly ever make it home as I just eat them in the car. Highly recommend.

Wrong night to visit as there was a birthday party and the noise was staggering. But everything else was spot on.

Food was delicious, staff served me very quickly, and were pleasant. Really can't complain, and would recommend anyone a visit. Also they do cumberland sausages which is very important to me😂

It was a restaurant I ordered from online. But unfortunately it's a place I will never order from again. They sent the stinky bulgur and rice. The meat was never cooked fresh. It's not the beyti they sent as chicken beyti. Even though we were really hungry, we could never touch the 'chef's special' dish we ordered. Very terrible service!!!

Delicious food and plenty of it! Thank you 🤩 Makes a nice change to visit somewhere and get food that tastes good and value for money. Plus it makes a great change to eat the usually takeaways.

Fabulous little restaurant to have on our doorstep -great value, wonderful food, lovely atmosphere and brilliant service. We used to travel up to Ware/Hertford all the time for a decent meal - so glad we rediscovered this place. Try to pop along at least every month if we can

Nice quite pub with pool table reasonable prices

Absolute Kebab Heaven! I can’t stop thinking about this place—it’s hands-down the BEST kebab spot I’ve ever been to! From the very first bite, I knew it was special. The kebabs are next-level: smoky, juicy, and bursting with flavor. Every bite melts in your mouth, perfectly seasoned and grilled to perfection. The lamb? Unreal. The chicken? So tender and flavorful, it’s addictive. And don’t even get me started on the beef—it’s like it was made for kebab lovers like me! Pair it with warm, pillowy pita, creamy hummus, and that ridiculously good garlic sauce, and you have a meal that dreams are made of. The service? Amazing. The atmosphere? Perfect. The only downside? I can’t eat here every single day (but trust me, I would if I could!). If you love kebabs, this is THE place to be. I’d give it more than five stars if I could!

It's a great little cafe that services good food, it's not going to win awards but its fresh, hot and tastes ok. The coffee is good, the star of the show is thier hot chocolate with the extras.

Fabulous little restaurant to have on our doorstep -great value, wonderful food, lovely atmosphere and brilliant service. Would definitely recommend for a chilled, relaxed evening. Its even nicer if they have live music - it's not too intrusive and really adds to the ambience. So important to support our local restaurants!
