I had a fantastic experience thanks to Ahmet’s excellent customer service. He was incredibly helpful and attentive throughout our visit, going above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. When my daughter unexpectedly got sick near the restroom entrance, Ahmet handled the situation with kindness and professionalism, quickly helping us without hesitation. His positive attitude made all the difference, turning what could have been a stressful moment into a manageable one. Thank you, Ahmet, for your outstanding service!

The chicken döner I got as takeaway was stale, extremely salty, and the worst döner I’ve ever had in my life.

Me and my partner booked a table for 9 30 PM last nite we arrived at 9 15 to an empty place witch was being cleaned down in the food area was told to sit and order quick as it was closeing and staff wanted to go home starter and main course was put on table in 5 mins of arriving together we was so disgusted and disappointed with the service we boxed our food and left paid and left and was charged 15.75 service charge would not recommend and return as local business owners we would expect better customer service it caused my wife to have a panic attack and end up in hospital we are not after a free meal maybe a little something to say sorry

The staff is very polite and the introduction is professional. The food is good, especially the mutton kebabs, which are delicious (even if they are frozen). I will order them again if I have the chance.

Lovely restaurant in Cheshunt with attentive, friendly staff. The food was very tasty, and the decor and atmosphere were really nice.

I had wings and rice. My wife had chicken. The meat read cooked good. However the salad was warm and the rice smelt a bit funny. Been throwing up all night.

I’ve managed to have the experience of b’fast, lunch and dinner at Lai La, and I have enjoyed all of it. Good size portions food, very tasty food and more of all a lovely professional service and great atmosphere. My son really enjoyed too which is a massive achievement as he hates going out to eat. So thank you to all Lai La team for making us welcome and for the lovely experience.

Great food and atmosphere! We went for lunch and ordered from the set lunch menu. The food was delicious and portion sizes were fabulous. I had the calamari as a starter which was cooked perfectly. Follow by a mixed kebab main which was exceptional. I then finished off with a classic baklava which was huge for the price you pay and oh so tasty 😋 Service was 10/10 and prices were affordable. Thanks for a great time!

Staff are very friendly and nice, food very good although a little too salty. I ordered a chocolate bomb and the waiter poured all the hot sauce over the whole desert, where some melted and went on the table, the dessert was a mess and inedible. They add 12.5% service charge but do not mention it, only when payment is made and its on the bill. I wanted to complain about the dessert but people were behind me in the queue and I didn't want to make a fuss. I did, however, ring the restaurant this morning, the person I spoke to said they would talk to the waiter, but he did not offer a refund of the dessert, just did have a nice day!

After hearing a lot and reading the reviews I thought id give it a try, and to conclude simply, this is just another place more for aesthetics than quality. The price we paid unfortunately didn’t justify for the quality of food or service with the constant nagging waiters. So plenty of other options around and at a lot better prices don’t waste your money!!

Normally, I love the food at LaiLa’s. But unfortunately, today is not that day. I had the lamb shank which was supposedly slow cooked for 18 hours. And yet, I found myself chewing for a long time and struggled with meat getting stuck between my teeth on top of it being extremely bland. When I informed the staff, I was told there’s nothing they could do. Had I told them straight after they gave me the food, then maybe something could have been done. Mind you, it was barely 5 minutes after I got my food. Let’s just say it’ll take some serious convincing to get me to come back here again. Which is a shame coz I actually like the place

So we've tried many kebabs around Cheshunt, Broxbourne and Hoddesdon. This was the first time ordering from Laila's it was our anniversary and wanted to try something different. It was amazing, loads of food, hot and just perfect in every way. Meat was lovely, cooked to perfection too. You won't be disappointed, great portion sizes

I recently had the pleasure of having breakfast at Lai La kitchen, charming Turkish restaurant that exceeded all our expectations. From the moment we walked in, we were captivated by the classic and meticulously clean atmosphere, with decor that deserves a solid 10/10. We started our day with the Mediterranean breakfast, a delightful array of fresh and flavorful dishes that perfectly encapsulated the essence of Turkish cuisine. Each bite was a testament to the quality and authenticity of the ingredients used. Complementing our meal was the freshest orange juice we’ve ever tasted, adding a refreshing touch to our breakfast. The service was nothing short of outstanding. We were attended to by a friendly and efficient duo – a guy and a girl who made our dining experience truly special. They were attentive without being intrusive, ensuring that all our needs were met promptly and with a smile. In conclusion, Lai La kitchen offers an excellent culinary experience that we are eager to repeat. Very warm welcome and service...

I dined at Laila Kitchen with my parents during a stay in Cheshunt. My family is part-Iranian and we enjoy the similarity Turkish cuisine has with Persian. We got a table even though we were asked if we made a reservation. It was a late Saturday evening and I reckon other days and times may require reservations. We ordered the large Mixed Hot Platter to start. It was a lot for the three of us, especially as an appetiser. I would suggest ordering the small option if there are less than four people at the table. For the main dish, I ordered the Chicken Bayti. It was well presented with rice, salad, and yogurt. The taste was amazing and the size was just right. I would recommend this dish. My parents ordered the Laila Platter, which should serve two according to the menu. However, the dish was too big and we could not finish the meal. I would say the Laila Platter would either suit four people or two people without an appetiser. I would like to compliment the staff member serving us because he offered drinks on the house after our main course was delayed due to their own error. I would recommend Laila Kitchen once you are aware that Laila Platter and large mixed appetisers are very large, and that it might be worth reserving a table beforehand.

Celebrated my daughter’s 18th Birthday here. The service was amazing and the staff were very accommodating. All the food came together. Even though it was a large booking it was perfect. Thank you very much!

Well presented place to eat. The reactions to the presentation of food where along the lines of... "Oooo" & "Wow." Not to mention the taste too. Well priced and friendly faces of the buisness to greet and seat you.

Food was unbelievably expensive. The turkish spread breakfast was bland and small portions. The service was excellent, no complaints there. It was a very hot day and the air con was not on. It was roasting inside. Overall not a great experience.

Our breakfast was incomplete and when we told this to the waiter, he said it was not ours, when we asked for another meal instead, he added it to our extra bill and was very rude to us. We will definitely not come again. Poor service

I had a great time dining here; the food was good, and the staff was delightful. However, I found it odd that I couldn't order coffee after my meal, as they clean the coffee machine at 9pm and won't serve coffee afterward, even though the restaurant doesn't close until 11pm.

Very friendly and helpful service. Great food. We have had breakfast, lunch and evening meal at the restuarent and all was good value.

Firstly after placing our order they come back to us a whole 20 mins later saying they are out of the sandwich bread I chose and needed to order something different!!! Secondly when someone asks for oat milk in their coffee make sure you bring them an oat milk coffee not a cows milk coffee but then lie and say it is oat milk when questioned. And only to be found out that they had in fact lied and brought a cows milk coffee when the bill arrived and you see it written in black and white that it was in fact cows milk. People ask for oat milk in their drinks for a reason, usually due to either being vegan or intolerant to cows milk. So getting it wrong and then lying really is unacceptable. Will I return…no!!!

We had table booked for our family and had the pleasure of dining at Laila restaurant in Cheshunt and was thoroughly impressed by the overall experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted warmly by the staff Hazal Kay (absolutely lovely person) and seated promptly in a cozy corner. We are regulars but today was a great start of the day.

Went there for Mother’s Day lovely food got there at 4 but at 5.30 was asked to go by 6 as they needed table was not impressed as there was no warning that we could only have the table for 2 hrs we spent £240 there only to be asked to go

Good service here, and the food was decent. I believe it's a bit pricey compared to other similar restaurants with no exceptional quality to make me want to pay more. We did enjoy our meal, but probably would go to another different restaurant if I fancy a turkish next time, only due to the price.

Really like this place. My partner and I came for valentines and fortunately we were able to be seated (were told to come back 30mins after arriving) so I'd definitely recommend booking in advance!! The place was decorated beautifully and atmosphere was buzzing. Staff were all attentive, helpful and friendly. There are so many options on the menu and they offer week deals too. There is something for everyone and the prices are very reasonable!! I got the eggs royale (pictured here) which tasted wonderful. No complaints at all. My partner and I left happy and look forward to coming back to try other things on the menu!

I recently visited this restaurant and was extremely disappointed with the staff's attitude. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with indifference and a lack of professionalism. She made me feel like an inconvenience rather than valued customers. She was slow to respond to my requests. I went there for the first time, and had a marvellous time. Lai La kitchen will definitely be my new regular restaurant. The food was delightful, I can honestly say that this was the best chicken shish that I have ever eaten, solid 11/10. The menu is has many things to pick from, which makes this restaurant universal and for everyone. The staff are warm, polite and welcoming. The decor of the restaurant is also amusing, elegant and simultaneously warm and homey. The dessert was also fresh and delicious. I have really enjoyed dining at this restaurant as the ; atmosphere, aura, food, drinks and staff were all amazing! I highly recommend!

What's not to like. Delicious food and very funky setting. We had the calamari, sweet potato fries, lamb ribs and the chicken wings. Calamari was ok, bit soggy sadly. Sweet potato fries were excellent, lamb ribs and chicken wings were superb. Only negative was that the rice was a bit overcooked and had a rather strange off-putting aroma. Other than that, everything else was on-point. Would certainly return if I was in the area.
