nice place, excellent food, nice environment, the only thing that surprised me a little was the waiters weren't very happy and smiling, even when you asked them for something they were a little thoughtful overall an excellent structure another thing, I have always found orange fruit in fresh orange juice, and it is also aesthetically beautiful!

Live music was good but a bit too loud to have a conversation.

I have been here for breakfast, lunch and dinner on different occasions and loved it each time!

I had a great time dining here; the food was good, and the staff was delightful. However, I found it odd that I couldn't order coffee after my meal, as they clean the coffee machine at 9pm and won't serve coffee afterward, even though the restaurant doesn't close until 11pm.

Very friendly and helpful service. Great food. We have had breakfast, lunch and evening meal at the restuarent and all was good value.

Firstly after placing our order they come back to us a whole 20 mins later saying they are out of the sandwich bread I chose and needed to order something different!!! Secondly when someone asks for oat milk in their coffee make sure you bring them an oat milk coffee not a cows milk coffee but then lie and say it is oat milk when questioned. And only to be found out that they had in fact lied and brought a cows milk coffee when the bill arrived and you see it written in black and white that it was in fact cows milk. People ask for oat milk in their drinks for a reason, usually due to either being vegan or intolerant to cows milk. So getting it wrong and then lying really is unacceptable. Will I return…no!!!

We had table booked for our family and had the pleasure of dining at Laila restaurant in Cheshunt and was thoroughly impressed by the overall experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted warmly by the staff Hazal Kay (absolutely lovely person) and seated promptly in a cozy corner. We are regulars but today was a great start of the day.

Didn't book, just turned up. Was seated quite quickly. Staff were good, attentive. Food was tasty, nicely cooked. Good atmosphere.

We held a large family event here and were so happy with every aspect. The food was lovely, really tasty and generous servings. The service was brilliant too with all food arriving on time and exactly as requested.

We had a delightful family meal at the restaurant. The overall organization was excellent, with service provided with a smile. Everything was prepared upon our arrival, and the food was outstanding, arriving promptly. In terms of cost, it was very reasonable and well worth every penny. I would definitely recommend it.

Went there for Mother’s Day lovely food got there at 4 but at 5.30 was asked to go by 6 as they needed table was not impressed as there was no warning that we could only have the table for 2 hrs we spent £240 there only to be asked to go

Good service here, and the food was decent. I believe it's a bit pricey compared to other similar restaurants with no exceptional quality to make me want to pay more. We did enjoy our meal, but probably would go to another different restaurant if I fancy a turkish next time, only due to the price.

Fabulous brunch with my daughter today! She had the waffle breakfast and I had the Laila breakfast. Both of them were huge and very tasty. Great food, great atmosphere and great maitre de and waiting staff! We loved it and we’ll definitely be back. ❤️

Really like this place. My partner and I came for valentines and fortunately we were able to be seated (were told to come back 30mins after arriving) so I'd definitely recommend booking in advance!! The place was decorated beautifully and atmosphere was buzzing. Staff were all attentive, helpful and friendly. There are so many options on the menu and they offer week deals too. There is something for everyone and the prices are very reasonable!! I got the eggs royale (pictured here) which tasted wonderful. No complaints at all. My partner and I left happy and look forward to coming back to try other things on the menu!

This place is a must if you need good food & drinks, service and atmosphere. The lamb chops are some of the best I've ever tasted and they serve a great breakfast too! 😋 check my gal out here wanting to order everything.

Staff was amazing, waitress was real professional. We had some good attention on our table. Food was amazing. Busy place though, you will have to catch the waiters to ask things which l felt a slight drawback. Other then that was amazing, will be back.

I recently visited this restaurant and was extremely disappointed with the staff's attitude. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with indifference and a lack of professionalism. She made me feel like an inconvenience rather than valued customers. She was slow to respond to my requests. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for friendly and attentive service.

I went there for the first time, and had a marvellous time. Lai La kitchen will definitely be my new regular restaurant. The food was delightful, I can honestly say that this was the best chicken shish that I have ever eaten, solid 11/10. The menu is has many things to pick from, which makes this restaurant universal and for everyone. The staff are warm, polite and welcoming. The decor of the restaurant is also amusing, elegant and simultaneously warm and homey. The dessert was also fresh and delicious. I have really enjoyed dining at this restaurant as the ; atmosphere, aura, food, drinks and staff were all amazing! I highly recommend!

What's not to like. Delicious food and very funky setting. We had the calamari, sweet potato fries, lamb ribs and the chicken wings. Calamari was ok, bit soggy sadly. Sweet potato fries were excellent, lamb ribs and chicken wings were superb. Only negative was that the rice was a bit overcooked and had a rather strange off-putting aroma. Other than that, everything else was on-point. Would certainly return if I was in the area.

Great food amazing service and decorations

Waited almost an hour for the appetizers, after about 40 minutes that's when we were told that some mixed up happened and that's why we haven't been served as yet, yet persons who had just gotten there had already mid way through their meal. Then to make it worse add service charges to the bill.

I visted with my family, food was delious and the service was great all food was on time and hot really tasted amazing, will definatly visit again and highly recomenond to others to visit. Yusuf was very friendly and the atmosphere was brilliant

A very nice restaurant. All the staff were friendly and the food came in good time and tasted great. The presentation of the food and drink was also very good! I got the vegetarian breakfast which was nice but I wasn’t a fan of the sausages - they were just potato and pea fritters which wasn’t what I was expecting! All the food on the breakfast menu is halal - except for the breakfast with bacon and Cumberland sausage. Also a small improvement - the breakfast menu said the main dishes were available from 12am when I’m guessing it should say PM. Overall reasonably priced but would have liked proper vegetarian sausages and a few more staff on the floor for quicker service. Would recommend.

We went for the first time last night. We were very impressed! I will definitely be coming back again for dessert. I was so full from the meal, the meat was so tender and nice especially the lamb which I'm so used to with other restaurant being fatty and chewy. You're getting big chunks of meat. Great presentation for meal and drinks. The staff were attentive and went above. I would definitely recommend. We were too busy enoying our meal to take pictures of the surroundings there are pretty. My only suggestion is that they sort the take away section out next door its a bit confusing where to enter and to be able to see inside everything going on and them staring. Maybe just frost the windows.

TAKE AWAY ORDER - 3 Mixed Shish kebabs. When entering the restaurant I was acknowledged by a man who was helpful and polite when taking my order. The kebab/salad was freshly prepared and the both meat/salad was delicious and it was well presented in the takeaway carton. It also included warm bread, dips, cutlery and a wipe. Would definitely recommend and will return. Excellent food for the price and big portions.

Popped into Laila after being recommended by friends on boxing day and was impressed. From the chargrilled bread & home made chilli sauce to our mains, they paid attention to the food which was delicious, not the cheapest, but worth the price. My vegetarian platter was beautifully presented & my partners seabss was crispy & fresh. Will definitely be returning in the future. Staff also were professional and attentive

Absolutely loved this place. I have to admit I was a fan of the previous incarnation before the new owners took over so had to come and check the new look out but I wasn't disappointed for a second. From the moment you walk in, the vibe is great. It's been beautifully decked out and the service from the staff is also on par with the decor. What sets this place apart though from the many other great Turkish restaurants in the area is the menu, as it offers a much wider selection of food for anyone in your party who isn't feeling Turkish food that day. They also have a fantastic lunch menu of two courses at £11.50 with the usual Turkish options but things like a Wagu beef burger too. We were there on a Friday lunch time and it was super busy, so I would recommend calling ahead, but do not miss the opportunity to try this place, you will not be disappointed. Oh, and if you're in the mood for breakfast, they they open at 8am with an amazing selection of breakfast options which are served until 3pm

We went to Lai La kitchen last night for a youth football coaches Christmas dinner. Marta and the team went above and beyond to ensure our visit was perfect. The food was Incredible, the service was spot on and we couldn't have asked for more. We were a large group of 14 adults but the staff were all very attentive and nothing was to much trouble. We will definitely be back! Thank you so much for a fantastic evening.

The food was good, the service was rubbish. The waiter didn’t seem interested. When asking about info we just got blunt replies The manager was kind enough to compensate how long the food took and missing side order.

I was expecting a fairly average meal here. I eat at a lot of turkish restaurants. But it was over and above my usual experiences. Service impeccable. Fabulous presentation of cocktails, wine and food. There was a singer who was very good. I didn’t think it was too loud but we were sitting a little way away. The good itself was delicious. And value for money. The only negative is the 12.5% surcharge. Maybe because we were a table of 7 people. Obviously, we could’ve challenged it, but the service was very, very good. I simply prefer to decide a “tip” myself. I will definitely go back.

Nice interior, we were fitted in quickly without a reservation, staff were ok, some friendlier than others. The starters were better than the main courses but it’s all a little overpriced for the location. No one asked if we enjoyed the meal and no one said goodbye as we left. Could eat there again but won’t rush back.

1st visit since refurb, we had the small sharing starter, I had Adana (2of), hubby had lamb chops. Everything was lovely. To be honest after the complimentary bread & dips we struggled to finish our mains. Service was exceptional, lovely decor. Price was reasonable considering the quality, have since been back for brunch which was equally nice. Definitely recommend

I popped in for lunch this afternoon and decided to go for an omelette. The portion was very generous and the meal tasted absolutely delicious!!! The price is very reasonable too- only £8.5👍 This has been my second visit to this restaurant and I will definitely be going back!!! The service was superb and staff were super friendly and polite.

Well, this place is extremely over priced. Restaurants in London are cheaper than this. The portion sizes are very small for the price! I couldn’t believe it. Food tasted lovely but honestly not worth it at all! £6.50 for a small slice of baklava. £24.50...
