The chicken and lamb shish is so tender and succulent with a beautiful flavour, I visit this restaurant regularly, the staff are lovely, friendly and professional. Special service from Denis the manager x

we came in for the lunch time deal, we’ve been in for dinner also. Could not fault this restaurant at all! The service is always super quick, food is delicious and their deal is great for money!

Such a great venue to enjoy a night out in, with great food and a live singer on the weekends. The staff was really attentative and looked happy in the jobs. Reasonably priced for a high standard turkish cuisine. We will return again for sure.

Dennis our waiter did a great job. Everyone was super friendly and the service was great. The lunchtime atmosphere was great. This is the best Turkish restaurant in Hoddesdon and beyond. We had the good value 2 course lunch. Food was fresh and tasty. We enjoyed our time here and will come back soon.

Absolutely amazing service and the cocktails were to die for. We had the best octopus that we’ve ever had - cooked to perfection. No delays, we were waiting on hand and foot. Cannot recommend Spark enough!

I’ve been on multiple occasions for both lunch and dinner. The food is always great and the staff are friends and the service is great. The lychee martinis are a particular favourite and the baklava for dessert!

Event: Been here loads of times, for birthdays, thank you meals, and Sunday's with Mum. Food: Fantastic. Best restaurant around. Probably one of the best I've ever eaten in. Favourite dish is the lamb shish. Service: The staff here are all very nice and attentive. Downpoint: My only gripe is the 12.5% automatic service charge on the bill for obvious reasons! I always tip, but feel tipping should be choice, not automatically added to the bill. Overall: Would I return? 100% Yes 👌

Nice food and reasonably priced, however our interactions with our waiter left a lot to be desired, with off-hand comments, no guidance regarding the menu and when he offered explanations he did so in a very patronising manner. Real shame as otherwise it’s a nice restaurant, doubt we’ll be back though due to the nature of the staff.

My wife and I were visiting Hoddesdon and needed to find somewhere for lunch. We were both very impressed with Spark. The venue is clean and tidy with a lovely decor, staff were amazingly polite and helpful, but the main thing was the food! So delicious and filling. Could not recommend this place enough and will be returning in the future. Many thanks to all the staff for making our meal so special

My husband ordered a 500ml Coke (as two size options on menu) a waiter brought a small bottle. It was returned in a glass with ice rather than the bigger size. Didn’t ask for ice and obvious same small size just put in a glass and topped up with ice. Apart from that and so many different waiters serving us was a lovely meal and very nice restaurant.

My husband and I had the 2 course lunch for set price £13.45 I was expecting small portions for that price, but they didn't scrimp, very filling and delicious, I had the squid for starter and it was cooked perfectly. There was a lovely atmosphere and not a single empty seat by the time we left, and this was mid week! £47 for 2 people, great food, great service, AND 2 glasses of wine each, plus service charge! Very reasonably priced We will definitely be coming here again

Food was okay but £4.50 for a coke and £4.30 for apple juice is the same as going to a bar in Mayfair central london. Crazy

Had a meal there tonight with my grandchildren, food was average and they charge london prices? £4.50 small Coke £4.50 orange ? We had 4 beers 2 wines and our meal £222.00 to me now there are better places near by that serve better food for less money..Could have gone to Hanbury Manor for a better meal.

Wow! What a meal we had today. Highly recommend the Just The Two Of Us sharing platter which has lamb, chicken, ribs, chops and wings with rice (x2) and a juicy salad. We were fortunate enough to go on a day where the chef was testing out a new meal for the lunch menu, a chicken casserole, which was in a beautiful dijon sauce. My son aged 8, who holds very high standards when it comes to chicken wings, said that they were the best he has ever had. I would have been happy to tip 20% because the food and service were impeccable. I'd go as far to say it is the best Turkish restaurant I've ever been to, and in my top 5 meals ever!

Place itself looks quite impressive, it's clean and with a good atmosphere ( Only the music was quite random, it would definitely be better to hear some more traditional turkish/ Mediterranean vibes). All the food we ordered was very nice! I've seen some negative comments but they're just mean and looks like written by some competitors 👎🏻) overall good place but might feel a bit pricey if someone looking for cheap options

I was treated to a nice evening meal at Sparks recently by a friend / brother. I love the quality of the food, taste and the atmosphere. Having been to many Turkish restaurants in London and Herts, this one go to the top. I have been back here a few times after the first. The experience and atmosphere remain captivating. Very good food and excellent customer service👍

Great place for a spontaneous lunch. We were just spending an afternoon in Hoddesdon and needed a light lunch. We hit upon Spark. We couldn't have got it more right. We sat outside in glorious Mediterranean-like weather. The food and service was a real delight. The town is a little out of our way, but we'll be back!

Beautiful food and excellent service

Lovely restaurant, went for an early dinner with my parents, brother, future sister-in-law and young daughter (20 months old). The staff were so helpful, attentive and kind which made for a really positive experience, we felt so welcome and there was no pressure to eat quickly and leave, my daughter certainly felt like the star of the show and loved the attention she received. The food was cooked to perfection 🥰 Definitely my favourite Turkish restaurant in the area by far! We look forward to returning!

Came here Friday for a birthday celebration very disappointed with service and food Octopus was inedible small waiter didn’t really listen to what we ordered hence had to ask again for our chicken and salad Drink orders were the same They know how to charge

I cannot fault the quality of the seafood platter, it was fresh and very well-presented and cooked. The chips were cold, very soft and not seasoned, this didn't spoil the rest of the main. The frozen pina colada was delicious and not too rich or overly sweet. The baklava dessert was delicious. The only criticism was the service, which was hit-and-miss. The first waiter didn't stop to hear my request for tap water and brought a bottle of still after the food had arrived. My girlfriend and I waited a while to be asked if we wanted dessert, the menus were then thrown on our tables. The female waiter and the manager were friendly. If you're not a regular, some staff are not as attentive towards you. Even so, I would recommend the food and decor.

Whenever we have a special occasion or event or just generally want excellent food and service we come to sparks! Great team of staff , polite and more than helpful.. esp Dennis at front of house. He greets you everytime like it’s the first time.. food is amazing and so are the cocktails! Highly recommend .. me and my family are extremely happy customers , thank you !
