Our favourite local Indian food! We order from here every week. No other Indian restaurant around here compares - loved by the whole family!

Everything apart from king prawn madras was lovely. Flavour of madras was lovely however only 3 prawns in the dish. Bit of a disappointment.

This was only the second time that I have dined in this restaurant, the previous time being 2 months previous, and the owner remembered me and my family and where we sat. I must have made an impression. A good one, I hope? Anyway, as usual, the food was amazing. The flavours and tenderness of the chicken and lamb dish were delicious. Usually, my favourite and normally go to Indian has always been the Cinnamon Lounge, on the other side of Waltham Cross town, but Chutney Moes equals if bot slightly betters them, probably because of the service. Dining in the Cinnamon Lounge I always get the feeling of being rushed to finish and get the hell out of there. In Chutney Moes, I felt a lot more relaxed.

we have eaten at Chutney Mo's many times and ordered countless takeaways, but tonight was the first time the quality and service was well below their normal high standards. Food was late and, when it finally arrived, it was cold, mushy and very oily. Now it is lying very heavy in my stomach.

Great curry with really friendly service

Unfortunately for me the food wasn't great, curry was too oily and the naan was undercooked

The worst Indian food I have ever had, everything was dry and overcooked. I paid over £40 and the only thing that I vould eat was potatoes. I would challenge the chef to eat the meal he prepared me and give me his honest opinion. A bad experience and the only gain for me is never order from this establishment again!!!

Onion Bhaji were flat and really tough, rest of food was a bit flavour less

Overall, a nice meal. Chicken Tikka Dansak good, however certain vegetable dishes (particularly aloo gobi) seem to swimming in excess nowadays that needs to be drained of before consumption. Please take note and return to previous formula. Thank you.

Very good quality food on this occasion. Excellent chicken tikka masala etc.... Last few orders, food has been far too oily but pleased to say that wasn't the case this time. Looking forward to the next order now!

Food wasn't tasty. Very bland unfortunately very disappointed. Only naans were hot and tasty. The rest of the food was almost cold.

I love this restaurant, I have dined in the restaurant numerous times, however this was my first take away. Well my food arrive 10 minutes earlier than stated, there's a win. Food same fantastic quality as served while dining in, there's another win, with the added bonus of a free poppadom, thats a third win. Whenever I'm asked if I can recommend an Indian restaurant, I always say Chutney Moe's

The food wasn’t bad, it was alright. Nothing really stood out and given the reviews I was a bit surprised. Not sure we will order again but if we do hopefully the food will be worthy of higher praise.

Delicious food! Recently moved to the area and thought we would struggle to find a curry house to rival out old one. This place is better!

Meal was generally good but as experienced lately, a touch too oily for my liking.

Really disappointed. Ordered a large Aloo Gobi and only got a regular. The Chicken Tikka Jalfrezi was floating in a sea of oil almost making me gag whilst eating. Don't know what happened here as meals are usually of a good standard. Will not be ordering a Jalfrezi again!

The best in the area by far, perfect once again

Amazing. Food is second to none, one of the best Indian restaurants in the area, because of this it does get busy, especially on a Friday and Saturday. I cannot recommend this place highly enough.

Food was completely squished in the bag, the poppadoms was literally in tiny pieces, the food took absolutely ages to come, the onion bhaji was burn, everything was stone cold, and the chicken tikki masala didn't even taste like it and was sitting in a puddle of water, literally had to get kitchen roll to soak it up! When I called the restaurant to complain, the manager didn't even care, and blamed uber eats for the problem and told me I have to take it up with them! What do uber eats have to do with the way it was made.

Good service, tasty Indian food

For me to keep going back the food has to be very good and consistent and this place has done exactly that and on the way I've become good friends with some of the staff . Me And my family have spent the last two Christmas Eves here enjoying great food .. thank you guys x

Had a delivery and the korma was so salty I couldn’t eat it. I ordered a regular and a large pilau rice and they were both regular sized even though there’s a £2 difference on the menu. Tikka masala was very watery. I tried to call but it’s permanently engaged. I also used the chat on the website but haven’t had a reply!!! Do not use this restaurant!!!

Have come here a couple of times lately.They are very welcoming the food is excellent and fresh and never disappoints.Its difficult to find a place that ticks all the boxes and for me and my Wife certainly leave us feeling very satisfied.

Ordered and paid online for a delivery which was an easy process. The food arrived 5 minutes ahead of time. Everything was cooked perfectly and tasted delicious. I wouldn’t hesitate to order from here again.

We’ve been ordering from chutney Moes for YEARS now every week! Always hot, fresh & on time, most the time early on delivery’s. When phoning the restaurant there always polite and drivers well mannered. We’ve also sat in the restaurant which was exceptional and the food and service was exceptional also. Although recently they have raised there prices it remains competitive and well worth the money, also there is a decent discount when you order online direct. I personally wouldn’t order a delivery anywhere else as I like consistency and chutney moes is the most consistent Indian takeaway I’ve found in over 5 years and that is very rare! If your looking for a very good takeaway curry then look no further. If your looking for a exceptional dining experience then visit chutney moes.

This was brilliant. We had struggled to find a new Indian takeaway since our local favourite closed. This ticked all the boxes. Tasty, good portions and took note of all special requirements. We were working our way down the list trying different places but will stop at this one.

Food is completely different from the last time we ordered. No where near as nice or as tasty. Very disappointing. Won’t be ordering again.

Absolutely fabulous had a takeaway last night had tandoori chicken chef special carnt wait till next weekend to have it again..

Chutney moes normally very good myself and friends booked a table for 8pm we was running late so called up and told them we was going to be late we got to the restaurant at 9pm restaurant was empty at first they wasn't going to serve us but in the end they did 5 people ordered and everything was over spicy very hot. Waiters taking plates before was even finished trying to get us out not a good experience at all very very disappointed

Food was ok but lamb inedible very chewy and fatty

The food was alright but we paid and ordered two naans only one arrived.

Food was fine, delivery was was poor. I provided all the details the driver needed to make the delivery. However, either the driver didn't understand or the details weren't passed on. After 6 calls it was finally delivered.

Food could of been nice but it was very late and when it come it was cold. Very disappointed!

Meal delivered right on time, however, the Chicken Tikka Jalfrezi was swimming in oil and needed to be drained off before consumption. The rest of the meal was fine and up to the usual standard.

Order at 7:20pm told food would be delivered at 8:40pm. Finally arrived at 9:15pm. Normally we order directly and food always delivered within 30-40mins. Thought we would order through just eats took nearly two hours ! Not a happy customer of just eats and probably would not recommend going forward

Very happy to see the delivery arrived 20+ minutes early, yet it seems the food quality was compromised. The sauces of every dish had a grey tinge and lacked taste. Pilau rice was completely tasteless but the poppadoms were great. Overall - very disappointing experience.

I don’t mind the lateness, but when this means the food arrives luke warm/cold that’s a different matter. Also the raita had no cucumber, it was plain yogurt! The food was okay, I’m sure given the chance to eat hot, it may have made a difference.

I have been ordering from here for 2 years, last few orders were not great, but this last one hit Rock Bottom! Worst ever, they used to be good, but the quality is really really bad now. Never again!

Been using Moe’s since I moved to the area a year or so ago. Food is superb, always hot and great quality. Highly recommend.

Portions were a good size but taste was not to.our liking seems as if the meat was cooked before then added in to the sauce.

Delivery was very quick arrived before time estimated,food was hot the only down fall was not enough sauce with the dishes.

Sadly food was lukewarm and naans were cold which was disappointing as we live 5 minutes from the restaurant so must have left the restaurant like it

Not good. Bread was doughy and tasted old and full of oil. Coconut rice didn’t taste like it was cooked with any coconut. Disappointed

Errors on the order despite repeating myself. I made it very clear that all dishes must be hot/spicy (to Indian taste), yet all the dishes were completely mild, not even madras hot. The chicken was completely dried n chewy. It was clear that the chef paid no attention to order nor the notes on the order. Complete waste of money, over £100 take away. I would say avoid at all cost unless you're looking for a curry by the name and not the taste.
