Good quality food food .service with a smile .. Highly recommended..!

I came in wanting to try their fish and chips because it had high ratings on Google and I was dissapointed with everything. Came in with no cash and told me their card machine wasn't working and told me to withdraw cash. I said fine I'll order via the app for collection and magically their card machine was working, as the lady served me she said it with such attitude and told me I should know to bring cash to pay. Things I didn't like, the cod had a strange off smell and taste to it, batter was crispy. Scampi was pretty tasteless and batter and sausage was not great either. Would not come here again, was served with such attitude and food was not worth it.

Went in for fish and chips. Could not eat the fish as it was off, smelt of ammonia and rotten . Will not go there to eat again . I eat a small piece just hope i do not get food poisoning.

Cod n chips very tatsy, just a bit disappointed at the size of the fish, for £8.90 for a small cod i expected something bigger .

Went in for dinner with my husband and 2 children. Lovely food and really friendly staff. I felt very comfortable. First time eating here. Would definitely go back.

Gluten free fish and chips are wonderful, very delicious, fresh and when I learned that I am celiac, my meal was prepared with special care and it was a satisfying portion, thank you very much.

Got food poisoning and an upset stomach from the Battered sausage I had later found out that it had been washed with water and I almost threw up. Wont be coming here again!

The biggest, best cooked and best sauced fish cooked in England. The fries are great too. The new owners are very good. I wouldn't have gone before. I would definitely recommend!

One of the best fish and chips restaurants. It has friendly staff who care about hygiene and friendly staff. And “Murat Abi” is a very good person, friendly and operator.

It was my first time eating at this restaurant and it will most definitely not be my last, the cod was amazing, the service was great and the atmosphere in general felt very comforting, everything about the restaurant is high in quality and it’s what makes you feel as if you’re in a 5 star restaurant. I truly hope nothing but the best for the workers here. I highly recommend.

A very unexpected treat. Big city chip shops can be a little disappointing but not this one. Staff are friendly and helpful, a great selection of fresh fish to choose from. Everything is cooked fresh to order. Good selection of non fish dishes to be had. Licenced to sell beers and wines but the coffee is excellent. Well worth a visit and you won't need a bank loan to pay.

The services was great and very good staff but, it was my first time to be there and i asked the chef about the best food and he recommended Skate& Chips, but I didn’t love the test at all. The test of the skate fish was so kind of smokey test and it costs £15.50 it doesn’t worth that much money . I don’t recommend it at all.

The quality of the fish and chips has gone down unfortunately. Last 3 visits the chips have been hard and waxy. For the price charged the quality just isn’t good enough now, sorry

Fish was super fresh and the chips are delicious. Large Cod and Chips god portion as well. Friendly staff and chef and nice decor inside with clean toilets. Would recommend and will be back again soon with family

Chips and tartare sauce was lovely but unfortunately the calamari was so over cooked it was inedible absolutely gutted as I've heard amazing things about this place

Went here with a few friends of mine and not only was the service good with the Chef coming out to see how we were and how the food was, but the fish and chips was amazing. I’d definitely recommend coming here. Me and my friends will surely be going back.

The best fish and chip shop in waltham cross, great experience, great customer service, great clean environment and most of all great quality food, the calamari was amazing and perfect, definitely try it out when you come here! Their fish is cooked fresh, it tastes so good! They also do coffees, teas and a variety of cold drinks, overall i’m really Impressed and happy with the food 10/10, this is my new go to now, i definitely recommend coming here! Very welcoming and friendly.

I haven't been here for a couple of months and I'm sad too see that the owners have changed! Not very friendly and I only ordered battered sausage and chips and was told a few minutes. Fully expect that. After going too the nearby shop I came back to more customers who for some reason seemed to have priority over my placed order. After waiting for nearly 20 minsi asked for a refund. No apology or no trying too keep me as a customer!! Sorry did I not order enough??? Will never use again!!

This is one of the best fish restaurants I have eaten in and I have eaten in a few including some very well known and revered places. The food was on point and top quality. We were looked after expertly by Linda. I can only urge anyone wishing for a top quality fish restaurant at remarkable prices to travel to Waltham Cross. I guarantee you will not be disappointed and will go back.

The best fish and chips in Hertfordshire. I have been taking my elderly parents there nearly every week for months. We have tried other fish and chip restaurants but nothing compares.

me and my daughter in law decided to have a cheeky trip down to the local fishy delishy and ever since i came out the womb i have loved the taste of the chippies here xx my daughter in law decided to get a portion of chips and complained that they were too fishy. however i assured her that’s just the delishy flavour you get when you come here. i have enjoyed the staff especially barron x what a great chap x 10/10 defo recommend xx

Excellent meal on Saturday evening, really fresh beautifully tasty haddock and chips for me with lovely salad with very tasty dressing, very well presented. Pleasant staff. Reasonably priced, good Pinot Grigio by the glass. Overall 9 out of 10.

I’m always going there for having lunch or dinner . There hospitality is always good and friendly as well. Even every weekend my son wants to go there. Food is amazing. Good test to eat and fresh . They keep clean restaurants hygiene is very good as well . Highly recommend this shop
