The best restaurants in Brentwood South Brentwood East of England

This is a great restaurant for Italian food and truly excellent service. A group of 6 visited yesterday and we couldn’t have had a better experience. Starters for example: mussels, sardines - everyone enjoyed. Main courses: ravioli (spinach & ricotta), steak, lasagne and all very tasty. Highly recommend the house Red wine: a Shiraz. From start to finish the staff were attentive when we needed them to be. Thank you for a great evening of food, wine and service.

Superb service. Will definitely book again. Beautiful venue, great food and the staff couldn’t do enough for us. Loved it.

What can I say this place never disappoints, I’m local and whenever I want a quick snack I pop in … always great service and food .. And now they do the “Pigs under Blankets” I’ll be going a lot more until Xmas … Thanks guys and galz

We ordered king prawn shashlik, lamb hydrabad , himalayan rice and a dhal etc Totally delicious. The good is really authentic and freshly prepared. Highly recommend. The owners are good and kind people , they regularly host a number of community groups at the restaurant. Take your own drink - glasses are provided. Bill was roughly £20 per head.

Was welcomed by a lovely polite and attentive member of staff. Tables nice and clean. Ordered an egg sandwich which came in lovely fresh granary bread and a fresh side salad. Will definitely go back.

Fabulous food and service. We were surprised it wasn’t busier. Brilliant value for money. This is a hidden gem needs to be discovered.

Absolutely brilliant! We hired The Brentwood Kitchen for our daughter’s 18th Birthday party and hired the DJ they recommended. Venue was great and DJ Steve excellent! We took along some balloons but that was all. Decoration is so optional and really you don’t anything… Just turn up with a happy face and your dancing shoes! Food was really delicious and was beautifully presented. Lots of compliments from guests. Bar & Kitchen staff were very lovely and really friendly. Communication was also excellent, very friendly, relaxed, helpful and swift responses to any queries (not that we really had many). Would definitely recommend! Thank you so much for a great night.

Came to visit daughter on placement from uni. Wasn’t busy but was told food be about 30 mins was over a hour till we got it. Husband had a lasagne and daughter and I had ultimate sharer, which was only 2 of each different selection?? Wouldn’t class as ultimate as needed at least 4 of each thing to feed 2 people. Husband said lasagne could had been bigger portion as well. Food was nice though but bigger portions would be great. Staff were all friendly can’t fault them. Would visit again if bigger portions.

Lovely seafood - whatever I have bought from The Catch is always really tasty. Love their prawns and cockles. Can’t beat it!

This place is fabulous and my favourite breakfast place in Brentwood. Why? Couple who run it are very friendly and can't do enough for you. Swap beans for mushrooms, swap toast for an extra hash brown? No problem. You feel like they care. Food is very good value. £6.50 for an English breakfast with a DECENT cup of coffee, not instant coffee rubbish. That is a bargain. An absolutely bargain. Food is good quality. It opens early! Most places in Brentwood open at 8am. That's too late for me.

Great service, lovely food, good location and for a decent price!

The tapas were great, well prepared and good quality but the paella was not. It was dry and strange with chorizo in it!!! I've never heard of chorizo in paella and I lived in Spain for 10 years! One thing I really didn't like was that I ordered a coca cola and the waiter filled my glass from an already open can from the fridge and didn't even give me the rest of the can. Very poor in my opinion.
