I have been to this Cafe a few times and it never dissapoints. Friendly lovely staff and my smashed avo with mushrooms was on point. I highly recommend!

Amazing place, the food was incredible and the owners are so lovely! They allowed me to hire the venue for an afternoon tea party for a surprise baby shower and they truly went above and beyond with it! Everyone was commenting on how incredible the food was (there wasn’t much left!) and how friendly but professional the staff were! Will definitely be in touch again for future events and family outings as they also provide high chairs for babies/toddlers which is so helpful as I have twin toddlers so it’s great to know they can be safe while we all enjoy a drink and some cake! What a fantastic evening hosted by darraline Tasting german wines with fantastic food and firends. Darraline are such good entertainers and hospitality experts everything they provide is theater. Food was FANTASTIC one hell of a spread they put on for sure and totally unexpected. I would highly recommend booking darraline to host your private events you will not be disappointed. Left feeling full content and looking foward to the next one. Thanks guys

Best Kebab in North Essex, extremely fresh and tasty with brilliant staff

Great lunch or coffee stop place. Forget the chain of coffee shops and use this cafe. No queueing and waiting. Sit at your table and be served. Reasonable price and good. Friendly staff and clean.

Have been getting our curry from here for years, even when we moved, we still travel the 40mins to collect. Have not found another curry house with as great flavours, hubby's favourite is the house special. Forhad and his team always friendly and support local businesses and charities too!

I just adore this bakery. The staff are so very friendly, you feel welcome as soon as you walk in the door. The cakes/scones are fabulous, tea is in a little pot with a cozie, such a great touch. The prices are so very reasonable, you cannot beat this bakery/tearoom. I love it.

Went in here a couple weeks ago on a busy Saturday, the food was great and matched my expectations. However, I see a lot of phones on behind the bar which makes it seem that a few behind the bar are incompetent. That’s why I’ve given it a 3/5 stars for service, although the few who are working around the restaurant are great and carried the experience for me and my friends.

Just called in to quench thirst after shopping and who should I see ? Charlotte!! Formerly of The Griffin in Halstead….sad loss of a community pub to another residential conversion, but now the main attraction at Halstead’s best bar. We will be back.
