Customer service is good within the Hook, I always find myself disappointed whenever I receive food from them. When ordering a portion of cheesy chips typically they will wrap the portion in the paper which gets stuck on the chips. I find that their portion sizes are on the smaller size, especially when the cost is so high for ordering from them. The food itself is good which is the only redeeming quality, otherwise I would struggle to rate this business anything more than a 2*. The main feedback I'd pass onto the owner of this establishment is to review both their portion sizes and the packaging of the food.

Recently celebrated a very special milestone birthday and was greeted by lovely friendly & happy staff that always go above and beyond for us when we visit! Even the Manager Marc bought me a drink for my birthday 🥂 bless him! Can’t fault the service at all, top notch! Thank you, you wonderful lot!!

A very disappointing visit, despite the efforts of our friendly and accommodating waitress. In the past I've had a few lovely meals and buffets in this venue, but have since moved away. Yesterday met up with my sister and the two of us were very disappointed at the menu choices. We ordered starter and main, only noticing afterwards the huge specials board sitting in the fireplace right next to us. My sister enjoyed her prawn cocktail. My tired looking whitebait was just about OK served on a bed of dry shredded lettuce, no dressing and no dip, just a small wedge of lemon. Mains of scampi and a burger (served without bun as requested) were very mediocre. I had a pud , rhubarb crumble with custard and ice cream, and that was DELICIOUS! I don't recall ever using the loos here on previous visits, but my goodness they are pretty awful and in dire need of upgrading.

This was our first experience of a cat cafe. Menu extremely limited, we tried to look up info on what sort of food and drink was served ahead of visiting but there is no mention on the website or social media of what to expect. For anyone thinking of visiting there is a range of tea and coffee options with milkshakes and soft drinks, food options are all pre package sweet treats like brownies, flapjacks and cookies or you can have packets of crisps. This is probably done for expediency as the sessions are limited to one hour so there is no time to prep food. It was clean and relaxed environment, when you are welcomed in there a few simple house ruled largely about not stressing out the animals which are all fair. Overall pleasant experience.
