Absolutely amazing! 100% would recommend. I’m from India and this food really makes me feel like i’m right back home. The chicken tikka really blew my mind, and is definitely the best thing on the menu. Keep up the good work!

This place is amazing! The chicken tikka is my personal favourite. As a picky eater and someone who never finds good places to enjoy my own cultures food, this place is definitely the best, service is amazing and I never have to wait long to get my food. Absolutely brilliant!

5 stars! My son is a very fussy eater and only food he LOVES is Spice Zone curry. We order very often and can say that delivery service is fantastic. All members of staff are very friendly and polite. We are highly recommend this restaurant. Thank you to all at Spice Zone.

I got in late from work and could t be bothered to cook, so decided on a delivery. I’ve never used Spice Zone before and I definitely won’t be using them again. I ordered via their App and it confirmed delivery in 55 minutes (19.06) the App updated at 19.00 to say it was on its way, so far so good. I’m 7 minutes down the road, at 19.22 I called to see where my meal was, to be told it had just left (the App said over 20 minutes earlier) and would be with me in minutes. I called again at 19.40 to chase again, some 40 minutes after the App said my meal had left the kitchen/restaurant, I was promised a call back to update me………. Nothing!!!!!!! My meal turned up at 19.56, nearly an hour after the App said it left the building, it was in simple terms awful, cold, the bread was sweaty and soggy where it had been in the bag for so long. I tried to call to complain, but after 5 tries of them not answering I gave up, which is probably what they wanted. This establishment is a joke and should be avoided. I’m a diabetic and need to take my insulin 30 minutes before I eat, which I did, this meal was an hour late!!! Thanks Spice Zone for ruining my relaxing evening and making me ill for having insulin in my body and no food!!!

Food is consistently good, made with first rate, fresh ingredients. Staff are friendly and polite and deliveries are quick with the food piping hot. We've been a customer for over a decade and it really starts our weekend on a high.

Fantastic service, staff are friendly and very helpful, always able to cater for any dietary requirements. The food is delightful, always full of flavour and extremely tasty. Not to mention the drivers, always get it to your door as quick as possible and are always polite! 5/5 - would absolutely recommend!

Just ordered for the first time here, usually order from either of the other two in Halstead …… I’ve been missing out! Delivered in 30 mins on a Friday , huge portions compared and no mistakes , food was really spot on nice n hot , won’t be going anywhere else now. Fantastic food , thanks spice zone !! Brilliant

I have used the Spice Zone for 4 years and the meals have always been good up to now. But I ordered a meal last night, the delivery was quick, but the meal lack taste, it was very bland. Very disappointed.

Tried this place just after we moved to Halstead five years ago and wasn't up to much but ordered from here last week and something has obviously changed. Excellent food and our go to in Halstead now.

We used to love spice zone, but so disappointed tonight. 2 pieces of chicken in the Korma, and the rest of the meal was swimming in grease (literally). We left 3/4 of our dinner. Such a shame as this used to be our go to Indian takeaway.

Food was cold, very tasteless, would not recommend.

Great customer service and quality food you can trust

Having grown up in East London i have always been spoilt for choice when it comes to Indian food. I have lived around halstead area for about 4 years now and have tried many Indians within a 10 mile radius and never been really impressed. I must say that the Spice Zone is by far the best around . Tender meats , fantastic flavours and on point every time! I order at least twice a month and my Wife and I are always very impressed with the consistancy. Lamb Madras top draw... Chicken Tikka main lovely! to be honest i have enjoyed every dish we have tried.

Spice Zone is the only takeaway in Halstead where you get consistently great food. It’s always hot, fresh and delivered on time. I have recently discovered the chicken shashlik and it’s delicious! Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Spice Zone if you are looking for a tasty meal.

My favourite Indian takeaway and one that I've used for a few years now. Food is excellent with the Tawa Chicken being superb. I've yet to try a dish I haven't enjoyed and is always accurate on times for food being ready. We'll recommended to anyone in the area.

This is our regular Indian take out and we have always had great food. That is why I have still given the Restaurant a 4 rating. On this occasion one of our meals was the Vegetable Marsala from the Vegetable Specialalities options. The meal was basically just some sauce with a couple pieces of potato and some cauliflower. Not up to normal high standards and very disappointing. I will say this has been a one off and we will try again just not order the vegetable Marsala.

We have been ordering from Spuce Zone for 5 years. Not only is the quality of food great but the service is amazing. Food comes hot, tasty and within specified time. Spice Zone has also supported the community providing prizes and donating to charities.

Where to start with spicezone, if your looking for a delicious curry then look no further, me and my wife often have a treat night curry and never, have we tasted a curry like spicezones the flavour, spice and look of there dishes are just like no other, all the staff in there shop are very polite and respectful as are there delivery drivers we have met, also following them on social media and seeing all there doing for the nhs during this pandemic with free meals to there local hospitals, outstanding effort guys well done hopefully be able to visit your store again soon but in the meantime I will stick with safe contactless delivery’s that’s you do :-)

Having moved to the area recently this was our first takeaway when family were visited. Delivery arrived within an hour as advised. All food nicely packaged and labelled, tasty and hot. Lots of poppadoms and sauces and salads included. Would recommend and order again.

Second order from here and again the food was fantastic and delivered within good time. thoroughly enjoyable and will definitely order from here again. Reasonable prices and highly recommended, Best Indian in Halstead.

Recently moved to Halstead. Have used this takeaway twice now and both times the food was delicious. Even got some free poppadoms! Won't bother trying anywhere else. Definitely recommend.

Normally these guys are very good but tonight we had a stone cold meal after the person delivering went to the wrong address. We are only a two or three minute walk from the take away but delivery is free so it saves us going out in the rain. Sadly the driver must have spent some time in the wrong part of town and then had to phone up for directions. We have had many deliveries from them to this address and they know us so it must have been someone new. I guess we won't order when it's raining again so we can pick it up on foot. That way we can get it while it's still warm.

Excellent customer service, tweaked dishes to suit our personal preferencs and made some excellent suggestions. Prepared in a very timely manner, - and one of the finest curries I've eaten to date may I add - shall be back soon without a doubt! Would be a definite 6 star given the option.

Went here a few weeks ago after I won a set meal for 2 in a raffle. I'll definitely be back! The food was really nicely cooked and the portion sizes were good. Staff really friendly too :)

Would just like to say how amazing spicezone really is! From amazing food to service, I could not fault them in anyway, super fast delivery’s and amazing tasting food! We have had some bad experience with curry’s in the halstead area but not with these, keep up the great work!!

We’ve been using the Spice Zone for many years now and have never been disappointed with the dishes we have ordered from them, although we do normally stick to our favourites there’s a great choice if your feeling adventurous.

Always get really good service from spice zone. Phoned up to ask about vegan dishes, really accommodating and could adapt most dishes to be vegan and really knowledgable. Fab food, and great service!

Paneer curry was just spinach , food was cold despite only being 3 miles away for delivery Not a great experience

I have used Spice Zone for years and it has been consistently excellent...but last night we were really disappointed. Watered down chutney and mint sauce. Inedible brown salad accompaniment. Very tough inedible lamb, watery mushroom bhaji... either this place has changed hands or this was a really bad night. Sorry, you’ve lost a customer, never again.

I've struggled to find an Indian restaurant in the area that offers vegan options, lucky for me Spice Zone was very helpful and walked me through all their choices. The customer service was great and all dishes were labelled clearly as vegan when they arrived! The food was absolutely delicious and I will definitely be ordering again!

Used Spice Zone for many years and always a good reliable take away, Great variety of a menu and they can tweak dishes to suit. Would recommend the place with no problems.

So I am gonna be honest, we had boycotted last year as felt a lot of the food taste oily and all quite similar.....but since I knew they had made some changes and got healthier we thought we would give it another try!! Just eaten a new curry from Spice Zone, Kerala Chicken Curry. It tasted delicious, so much flavour with quite a chilli kick. I will certainly be ordering it again and would encourage all their customers to try it!

Our very favourite Indian take away even ordering is good staff on the phone are friendly and helpful delivery time is good and the food is always hot and way to tasty definitely the best Indian around 🔥👍🏼👌🏼⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We have been regular customers of Spice Zone since they opened - about 18 years ago! The choice on the menu is excellent and the food is consistently good. Spice Zone have been with us marking all our family occasions - birthdays, Christmas eve, celebrations of achievements - and they've been there when we need a pick me up or just can't be organised enough to cook! We have always had good service, and enjoy a chat and a laugh with the staff - they more or less know what we will order when we phone them! They are very lovely people and we are lucky to have them in Halstead.

I can’t fault Spice Zone for the quality of food and the service. Myself and my family are regular customers and would highly recommend the food. Very rarely do things go abit wrong (for the amount of customers they generate, there is bound to be the occasional hiccup) but if they do, Forhad the manager personally sorts them out for me and the next time we order, always throws in freebies. I’ve ventured elsewhere but alway come back to Spice Zone.

Been using Spicezone for a few years now and it’s by far the best curry in town. It’s always delivered hot and on time.

Usually excellent but my last delivery was late and the food needed to be reheated on receipt. Not too worried though as this is definitely an exception not the norm.

literally the worst service I have ever received, I only live a 10 min drive from the restaurant and they took over an hour to get to me from the expected delivery time and didn't even offer me any part refund. what a joke. food was ok but korma isn't difficult. will not be ordering from here or on the app again and will be advising my friends and family to do the same.

I have got takeaways from here for a long time and always found it nice, delivery is normally on time although picking it up is quicker. Would recommend

food was early then specified time selected and then to return home after instructions to delivery driver food was nowhere to be seen not impressed at all

Spice Zone halstead is an excellent take away, the food is great & the staff are so friendly. My favorite dish is the chicken tikka vindaloo, I drive from Sudbury to collect my take away as its definitely worth the journey.

As always a spot on service, always friendly unlike other take always in the area (cinnamon Tree) polite and always give you extra sauces and papadoms

Never disappointed with Spice Zone. My favourite dish is their Nantara, love it! Chicken is always fresh, this dish is great Balti style too, pretty spicy and slightly sweet.

Requested for 8:00, they said they'd deliver for 8:10, they delivered at 7:20. Delivery driver wouldn't give change, food went cold by the time guests arrived, had to reheat.

Lamb dish was inedible,very poor tough as old boots.
