We booked Shooters for breakfast as advertised . When we got there , expecting an American menu there were 3 options Full English Vegetarian or Sandwiches . It appears that “ Shooters” don’t actually do the breakfast . When mine came the wafer thin sliced mushrooms ( there wasn’t even 1 full mushroom I imagine ) were stone cold as was the bacon beans and tinned tomatoes . I ate the egg and hash brown . So if you book “ shooters “ for breakfast be aware that you won’t get a diner breakfast just a cold mediocre breakfast for £7.95

We had great expectations for this restaurant as it’s had a lot of good reviews . We were not disappointed. We chose the tasting menu which for £70 a head we thought decent value. We were given half a dozen starters.. all delicious and just a couple of mouthfuls each so we were ready for more. These were followed by a crab dish, then a pasta and after that a sumptuous rabbit pie served with hispi cabbage with pomegranate and perfectly made chips. There were three small but delicious desserts to follow. Another time we might order from the menu, have a couple less dishes and skip the desserts. But for a first visit would highly recommend the tasting menu. Service was impeccable. I’m sure it’s only a matter of time before this lovely restaurant gets a Michelin star.

What an amazing experience, from the decor, ambience, staff and the impeccable menu! The food was perfect, the menu well thought out, the food was seasonal and the main ingredients shone through. The staff know they’re stiff, and the chef, wow, what a master of his trade! We will def be returning, thank you for making our experience so amazing. Def worth a visit, not just for a special occasion, but to appreciate good food. Thank you and see you soon xx

First visit and very very impressed with the food. The ambiance is very good too, the most comfortable chairs in any restaurant ever, nice linen napkins - all good, but the slow service has to be mentioned. two and a half hours to eat a two course meal is too long, waited almost an hour between ordering and receiving starter. We were told this was due to very busy takeaway service! Really! I feel that restaurant diners should get priority over discounted take-aways. There is a caravan site nearby so the takeaway trade is constant. We did not tip and explained the reason why, hopefully they will take note . Never the less I will return because the food was worth the wait, best Indian I have ever had in more than 50 years of eating Indian food. Light, fragrant and interesting dishes.

Always know you'll get good food and friendly service here. We both opted for the Rosti special and it was lovely. Really nicely cooked and made with good quality ingredients, (the bacon was a stand out for me - thick cut and very tasty!). Had a double chocolate brownie after which was super tasty. Will always recommend this place and will always re-visit.

Oh my goodness ... what can I say. Although Colchester was my home town, I am a tourist these days having left many years ago, so when I started to look for a decent 'treat' restaurant to eat at and discovered Kintsu, I was excited before I got there. From walking in the door we were looked after by Agape, I had the wine flight and there was nothing we could ask about the food or the wine that she didn't know. The food was amazing, there was nothing that wasn't perfect (and the wine was excellent as well). Fantastic evening, can't find the words to praise this place enough

What a cafe. Absolutely BRILLIANT in every way. If you're in Stalham this is the place to eat. Clean, staff excellent, food unbelievable in taste and portions at the best price for what you get. Wish it was closer to Birmingham. What the reviews say about it being so good is spot on!
