I have been here several times before for coffee, lunch , tea and cake Yes it’s a lovely atmosphere and food and drink lovely BUT Today I went with friends It was very busy and two waiting staff walked past us several times whilst waiting for a table Neither of them greeted us or said they would be with us soon Any way we got a table and ordered drinks service quick and drinks fine I used the toilet and it was not very clean and the sink had obviously not been cleaned for a while needed a good scrub Very disappointing for an establishment selling food and drink

Lovely light, airy cafe with space between the tables. In Norfolk for a few days staying with friends and we visited x2. Once for refreshments and then again for breakfast. Lovely tea served in unusual tea jugs and excellent coffee on offer. Would recommend the Bacon brioche rolls. Friendly helpful staff and a relaxing atmosphere. Would recommend.

My husband and I came in here for lunch for the first time. There was a queue to be seated, which suggested it would be worth trying the food. We both had the pesto chicken sourdough sandwich. Also, my husband had a portion of fries and I had the artichoke and sundried tomato salad with capers and onion crisps. We could not fault the taste and quality of the food. We enjoyed all of it. I felt it was a little pricey but we don't eat out often so I'll certainly return if we're ever in King's Lynn again and want something nice to eat.

I often visit Norbury's, whether to buy their bread and cakes, to purchase a takeaway hot drink for a friend, or to have brunch or lunch. Their breads, cakes and sausage rolls are delicious. I have been visiting for years, when they were in Tower Street, through the pandemic, and now in their relatively new location. They are my cafe of choice in Lynn, for the warmth of their welcome, the quality of their locally sourced food, and the efficiency of their service. They are unfailingly polite and helpful, in the face of some occasionally difficult customers. Happily, they have a growing number of regulars. It is so good to see a local couple doing so well, and the whole team works incredibly hard. My sister feels the same, and we enjoy meeting up with friends to enjoy a coffee, chai latte, or a savoury brioche bun, for example. I would recommend Norbury’s to anyone, I think you will enjoy it.

As always, a really lovely experience with friendly staff and delicious food. Whenever we go we are warmly welcomed. This is by far the best cafe in the town and the quality of food is very much worth the price. Yes it is not cheap but with everything being homemade I would much rather pay a little more for such good quality food. Thoroughly recommend this place to visitors and locals alike.

I just could not believe the awful reviews that had been posted recently. The food is amazing and the customer service goes above and beyond. I visited last Friday too and everything was consistent on both visits and definitely will recommend and return. Of course you have to wait to be seated because they make sure everything is clean and ready to go at your table. My food appeared without any delay. It’s cooked from fresh so I would always expect at least a 20min wait and was pleasantly surprised when it did arrive so promptly and hot. I can only speak as I find and I know how demoralising it can be to receive such negative feedback when the whole team is doing everything they can. I travelled 3.5 hrs today, 2bus changes to visit King Lynn knowing my first stop on arrival here would be Norburys for brunch and will be again. So a big thank you to all of your team front and back of the counter a smile and for their kindness I will add I’m sight impaired and was made to feel very comfortable and confident when I experienced Norburys on the first visit hence why I returned today.

My partner and I have used this Deli for a long time and have never been disappointed, the food, drinks and service are always excellent, sometimes we couldn’t get a table but now they have moved to bigger premises, once all this lockdown business is settled there will be more tables. Lockdown means that the new premises (High Street) aren't really ready for dining in, so I took advantage of their delicious sandwiches and scones and picnicked at nearby Kings Staith. The sandwiches are simply the best you can get in town (so are the cheese scones). Great range of soft drinks too, including unusual ones like Dalston Rhubarb Fizz. Tea, coffee, cakes and sausage rolls are also available, but I'll have to try those another time.

The slices are large enough to share - and they dont mind you doing this. They do a nice ploughmans with a choice of several local cheeses or pork pie and on the day we had lunch here I had smoked fish chowder from the specials board - very tasty and filling. The lady at the salad counter who is dark haired (there is a younger girl sometimes who is great) is so rude that if I see her I don't bother going in. She is rude, unhelpful and seriously needs retraining in how to speak to customers. I have a female friend who doesn't go in there because of her. I have tried being overly polite to not talking. I popped in here for my first time as my partner and I had heard that they do a great selection of cakes and small lunches. Well, we now head there almost every time we are in town. It may not be the fanciest of places, or perhaps even the tastiest for lunches but its just such a refreshing change from the other places available in town. It's selection of sandwiches, salads and soups is great and seems to change everytime we go. The food is always tasty and the portion sizes are sensible, which I actually consider to be a huge compliment given the HUGE size of portions usually given in Norfolk! We needed a pit-stop in Kings Lynn town centre, somewhere for my young niece to be fed. We stumbled upon Norbury's - I had been here several years previous, but forgot all about it. Norbury's was and still is a wonderful place for a cup of tea and a slice of something sweet. The selection of cakes is vast and cruel worthy. The three of us adults picked a different cake each. We had a tiffin, a white chocolate shortbread and a banana and caramel cake between us. All were delightful and very tasty. My niece, to our surprise, was also very well catered for. Norbury's offer a range of child sandwich options for less than £3. Norbury's was a nice find and would definitely recommend it, even just for a cup of tea or coffee. This cafe is situated on the periphery of the shopping centre in Tower street and offers sandwiches and light snacks rather than full meals. What makes this cafe stand out is that it uses quality local produce served a quieter more refined enviroment. Although the ground floor is okay, they have an upstairs eating area, which pleasantly exhibits the age of the building by having an open roof space with all the beams exposed. Another aspect of this cafe is that they also run a bread shop directly opposite the cafe. It sells bread that is made on the premises and also supplies the cafe.
