The best restaurants in East of England

We ordered a delivery on a Friday night which came earlier than expected. The food was absolutely amazing. Best bhaji I’ve ever tasted, mixed grill perfect combination and all the accompaniments delicious. Flavours and spices just right - best Indian food in the area !

Very pleasant environment for meeting and eating with decent parking. The menu is comprehensive for a small establishment and the prices were very reasonable too. The staff were very helpful and the service excellent. Highly recommended!

When I placed the order it said between 10-25 minutes, within a couple minutes off my order being accepted it changed to nearly a full hour later then originally stated, just to top it off when it arrived it was quite cold, overall not impressed

Yesterday we enjoyed a lovely family Sunday lunch. We were all given a friendly welcome when we arrived which continued throughout the afternoon. The food was good and was matched by the service. It’s quite easy to see why there were a lot of regulars dining there. Would definitely recommend and hope to return one day soon.

Best Sunday roast ever, compliments to Alice the chef wouldn't go anywhere else, extremely friendly and warming pub. Keep it up tracey.

Amazing mulled Cider over Xmas tiny. Would highly recommend

Visited this week for our works Xmas meal and had a fabulous meal with exceptionally good service. I have lived in St Albans for 30 years and I can honestly say this is the best Indian restaurant in town. I would recommend the tandoori dishes. As fresh as they come.

There were four of us visiting on a weekday, we spent a total of £45.38 for one main dish each, one dessert (that we split four ways) and one soft drink each. Neither of us is a Korean food aficionado, but we give it four stars across the board, because the portions, in our opinion, were a bit too small for the price that was being charged, and the dessert menu was lackluster (out of four desserts listed, two were out of stock). However, what we did have was tasty and the servers (though not very experienced) were enthusiastic about their jobs. So to summarise, it's worth visiting once, just so that you have experienced what the Korean food its like at Gang Nam Restaurant, so we don't regret going, but we saw no real reason to be returning our custom.

I had a great night at ashiana the other night Imad was really helpful with me and my table and really good at remembering orders also great with the speed of his service and was very efficient I will be returning to ashiana to see the lads in there great experience thanks guys 😁

Had a very enjoyable Christmas Day Lunch at the Green Man. Thank you to the whole team for giving us a warm welcome, excellent meal, excellent service and a nice relaxed atmosphere. We hope you all get the chance to take a break at some point yourselves.

Very nice pub, great food, good service. The only issue was the number of flies. I know they're difficult to get rid off but the number of flies would have been a problem for most. It was only saved by how excellent the food was.

Fantastic roast.would highly recommend.was in norwich for my birthday.came with friends,all agreed that the brisket option was superb along with some good ale.
