Fish and Wish in Southend-on-Sea

Amazing service! What a lovely, attentive, friendly owner! He made our experience wonderful from the start. It was late as we had been to adventure island with our 3 children and I was apprehensive as to what would still be open at 9.45pm. So glad we found this place- food was delicious, well priced but what made the night for us was the kindness of the owner! We had fish and chips, sausage in batter and a side of mozzarella sticks- all perfect! Thank you 😊

Visited Southend today and my sister hasn't eaten proper fish & chips due to being coeliac for over 5 years. Today we visited Fish & Wish who do Gluten Free battered fish and chips and it was excellent! The staff were brilliant and knowledgeable regarding people who suffer from coeliac and made my big blister extremely happy! We definitely recommend this lovely restaurant!

We were greeted by a young girl who was lovely & seated us. We went here due to my mum being coeliac & we had been trying to find a gluten free fish & chip shop They talked us through what was gluten free and then Took our food order fairly quickly & food was cooked to order The owner then came to talk to us about how he has a separate cooking area etc and asked who was coeliac. Really nice interaction Food was lovely, big fat chips & service was fab Would definitely recommended for gluten free & service

I couldn’t recommend Albert and his team highly enough, we did a last minute trip down with a large team of teachers with under 24hrs notice and Fish and Wish catered to our every need and more. Brilliant service, great food and value for money. Thank you so much we will definitely be back.
