The best restaurants in East of England

Great cafe i always go there for breakfast when I have the spare money. Great value for money especially considering the amount of food you get. The only downside is the bacon is unsmoked I would prefer smoked bacon 🥓 personally 😋 but it's great food and great service 💯💯💯💯💯

We booked a table in the covered outside area, for lunch today, and couldn't have enjoyed it more. Lovely seating area and dog friendly. Great service, delicious food...chilli and the steak and kidney pie. The lovely lady that served us was very attentive and so kind to our recently adopted rescue dog, Bobby, which we really appreciated. We then shared a large slice of Victoria sponge, perfect with the very good coffee. Thank you so much, we will mostly definitely be back.

This place is sooooo popular and for very good reason. The food and service are exemplary. Eggs Benedict with seriously good eggs and even better quality bacon was delicious.

Friendly service and nice food but it is very expensive for what it is

Dropped in on the off chance of grabbing a bar meal as had tried 2 others and no one was doing food. Friendly and welcoming, Dogs were made welcome too. Knocked us up Beef burgers and chips which was lovely. Thanks for having us!!

We moved near to Sandy 4 years ago , we have tried all the local curry’s and have to say value for money and for consistent quality and flavour it’s can’t be beaten ! We use the Ghandi all the time and can say without doubt it’s the best local Indian food. Great service and ways warm and friendly. Well done to the team and the chefs !

Here the food came as they looked in the pictures on the reviews and better! The shakshuka was really well balanced in flavours and beautifully seasoned, Welsh rarebit had the perfect creaminess with salty anchovy accent. Perfect brunch spot on the side of the canal. Be sure to arrive on time as it’s a busy spot. The service was casual, friendly and buzzing. Def recommend.

Never know who you'll run into at the red cow. It'll be a hoot.

Great place for food, coffee and tea. Scones are great. Gluten free options! Staff are friendly and helpful.

Lovely pub at a beautiful location.

Excellent service and food. We were a large group of walkers and were all served within minutes of each other. Staff were friendly and professional. Everyone enjoyed their food Dining area, facilities were spotless.

Delicious, the cod was very good

The food was amazing. Best Macaroni and Cheese I've had so far. Really loved it here. Plus, this place is so cosy.

Lovely warm welcome. A friendly local pub. Best steak in town.
