The best restaurants in East Midlands

Thought I'd give them a try. And I feel like iv been robbed on "food" I wouldn't give to my dog,everything was cold the korma tasted like no korma I ever tasted and looked like a tub of piss with 5 pieces of chicken. Dry Naan bread is the best thing they do but is slightly over priced at £40. I recommend you save your money and get a taste of luxury from the microwave section at your local supermarket.they should be ashamed of themselves. I won't be paying to put your rubbish in the bin for you ever again. Avoid! Avoid ! Avoid ! Don't say I didn't warn you

At last..!! A large Cod that is actually Cod.. large ..and cooked to perfection with a nice crispy batter.. generous portion of chips and mushy peas too.. sensibly priced as well! A chip shop like they used to be.. I shall be coming back for more!

Edit I've took it down because I'm struggling to find it open when I want a takeaway and especially as I have dietary requirements my choices of takeaway are extremely limited as it is and to find the one and only shut all the time is disappointing Found on Facebook gluten free takeaway and so glad I did it's put Chinese back on the menu, it was all clearly labelled, all gluten items wrapped up so it couldn't contaminated the gluten free food, they was so helpful most of there menu can be gluten-free too so things like chicken balls and chew main that I've not been able to have I could

Tasty food. Cozy and Unique vibe.

Food was lovely and reasonably priced? Service was absolutely amazing myself and my partner stayed for a local wedding that we was attending. The attendant had arranged for us to eat before the kitchen opened which was very nice of him. We stayed in the suite and my god was it amazing! Lovely old feel room beautiful made up bed that was more than comfortable. Breakfast included and the breakfast was lovely. Highly recommend. I did however feel The price was abit steep but I booked through booking.com - maybe cheaper direct hence the high rating

Went in after a very , very long walk had a large put of tea and a tea bun. Caught up with some good friends . Happy days !!

Very nice roaring fire in the main bar area. Menu was nice but sadly it took 40 mins for our meal (4) to arrive from ordering. Only one other table having food in our area. The chips were not really chips but skin on wedges, not crisp. Not sure what they were cooked in , the club sandwich was misleading description. It was a ciabatta sandwich . The waiter was good, cheery young man. This is a nice pub but the food we had was fine but sadly not great..

1st visit today ....very friendly , helpful staff ....food was fresh and delicious , and plenty of it .....my omelette was yummy , chips really good and my grandsons milkshakes tasted so good too! Good value for money ....I had a pit of tea for one , a fairly big pot for one person , got 3 full cups out of it ! Was asked if I wanted more condiments than what was on my table , got my salad cream ....perfect! Amy looked after us , did a great job ...thank you to the team...I highly recommend this cafe 👌

According to this page, supposed to be open today, 21st December 24, 5pm - 9:30pm. Called round at 8pm, closed. No wonder local businesses fold. On the upside, our local Chinese takeaway, Ruby in North Somercotes, similar price, far quicker to serve and tastes just as good, if not better. Bye bye China Rose 👋

Great stay. Catered well for a coeliac. Room cosy and bed comfy. Staff very helpful. Great atmosphere in the pub. Central for Rutland and Stamford

Nice locals pub with big garden and plenty of parking, nice atmosphere and friendly locals and staff. Food was ok not very inspiring, it's a Heineken house so food is supplied by them. Kareoke was on later in the evening and there was a great atmosphere! Apart from the food I would definitely go back for an evening

Llevo muchos años yendo a Yum Sing. Mi pareja y yo estuvimos allí de nuevo anoche después de no haber estado durante un par de años y estábamos encantados de descubrir que sigue siendo tan fabuloso como siempre. Comida de calidad, recién preparada, deliciosa y un servicio amable impresionantemente bueno. El nivel justo de atención (no dejarte esperando y no pararte sobre ti). Los platos más destacados fueron las costillas de Pekín y la carne de res cantonesa chispeante, pero disfrutamos de todo lo que teníamos, incluyendo el pollo yuk shung y tostadas de gambas (para morirse). ¡Sigue haciendo lo que estás haciendo Alan y el equipo!

Excellent food. Meal Deal is well worth for price.

Proper boozer type pub. Sports on TV, pool table, good atmosphere. And VERY cheap
