Wasn’t the best, I wouldn’t get the kabab just tried lamb and a few chips thrown together there was no sauce or salad don’t waste a tenner on it. I don’t think I’d be coming back here very disappointing

absolutely delicious and hot, asked for no chicken in the masala as me and my daughter only likes the sauce and gave us 2 tubs of sauce. every order so far has been of great quality and taste

having previously ordered from here, I was bitterly disappointed in the quality of the food especially having cost nearly £60. The onion bhaji were flat and overcooked, black in places and tough. The buttered chicked I requested mild/medium, was more like a jalfreze, no idea what happened to the "buttered" chicken as there was only 6 pieces. Whoever the chef/cook was last night has lost you repeat orders/custom.

Have been going to the same Asian cuisine takeaway for years until I discovered Bulwell balti, and now, I refuse to compromise and go anywhere else! Food is always exceptional! Service and turn arounds are always quick, and the prices are reasonable for the quality of food they produce! My new favourite 😍 shall be back again soon, for sure!

1st time ordering after a friend's reccomendation, 10/10! I've had curries from all over and the butter chicken I had this evening was delicious, the other was a tikka, it was here way before time which is a bonus in my eyes, we rarely get a curry as not everyone is a fan, they tried and even said they would go here next time we have a takeaway, couldn't fault anything and will look forward to trying other things on the menu, especially something with some extra heat,

I live in Bulwell and have for the last 20 years. I am a writer and am well known in the area, so I am going to leave an honest review. My experience of Bulwell Balti has been nothing but positive. From the excellence of their authentic food, to the delivery drivers, I have yet to find better. My favourite is Lamb Balti, and there is always plenty of meat in the dish and the sauce is rich and meaty. So that is my review. If you live within their delivery area, you won't find better.

Terrible service, food was an hour late and cold, it went straight in the bin as I don't like reheating fish. Had to then go out to the shops late in the evening to buy me and my family food to cook. Won't be ordering from them again. Would like a full refund.

Usually have a nice curry. Rang up twice to see where my order was. First time they said leaving restaurant now. 40 mins later they answer swearing at whoever and then said one sec. Line went dead! Rang back told me be leaving now! Will be here in 7 mins arrived later than 7 mins and poppadoms were smashed, food was cold!

Ordered 2 different curries. They weren’t labelled so had no idea which was which. One was edible, other was disgusting. Somosas are overpriced, you get 3 tiny ones for £4. Look like the ones you get from Iceland in a pack of 20 for £2🤦🏻‍♀️

£35 for korma sauce(and about 500ml water on my plate) which didn’t taste like korma at all and masala sauce, rice, naan and 3 mini samosa and 2 burnt flat onion bhajis. I’ve had far nicer Indian from the supermarket fridge. Although my partner said he enjoyed the samosas, £4.75 for 3 mini ones, ridiculous. Who knows maybe it was a bad day but I won’t be ordering from here again

Wow! I have tasted so many different places who make Indian food and this is the best by far, especially value for money. Well done everyone at Bulwell Balti! Top class food!

Charged us for rice and never gave us it . £35 for a meal that’s ment to be £24. 4 lamb chops instead of 6 and the tiniest bit of chips in the platter. I told my self I weren’t gonna return here since last time they gave me undercooked chicken wings which gave me food poisoning for a day!!!! Normally they are alright but last 3 orders have me dier . Will not be returning or recommending to friends anymore

Honestly, one of the best takeaway curries we've had in years. Really tender meat, and lamb that wasn't too fatty. Really tasty sauces, too, and portion sizes were great. The chicken pakoras were fab. Not going to bother with anywhere else in future!

They were stingy with the lamb and the paneer and it wasn’t very flavourful or spicy

Not gonna moan about delivery time because i orded during rush hour, food was amazing came hot all meat was succulent. If you want my advice stop reading these reviews and order from this place !

Chose to collect and used post code but it took me other size of bulwell high street ended up walking around for 10mins tryna find the place, gave up and drove past the place on alternate route back as i basically circled around the high street to find the place, told the staff in house this problem to which he didn’t seem to either understand or care as he just smiled and said “online order”. Food wasn’t bad tho nothing to brag about not much chicken in the curry but flavoursome. 7 outa 10 for

The rogan Josh was one of the tastiest, most aromatic and flavoursome curries I have ever had and the food was hot when received also, lovely food 5/5 👍🏼

First time order Ordered for 8.20 meal came at 7.00 disappointed as it spoilt our plans also lamb very tough

Disappointed with the food we have always come here food when visiting the area however this time it was tasteless we had two different curry’s which tasted the same! The kofta of the mixed kebab starter tasted sour as if the meat was off! The onion bargi was rock hard. We will not be going back.

Ordered a kebab, greasy, wrong order came and rude owner that doesn’t want to except responsibility for his own mistakes. SPEND YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE

Our usual Indian has changed hands and we didn't rate the quality so wanted to try somewhere new! Bulwell Balti, although a little more expensive, was definitely worth it! We will be back! Delivery on time, food delicious, hot and nothing missing ... Spot on!

Ordered platter 4 fully loaded, lamb tikka karahi, hot lamb, chicken tikka madras and other sides, customer service was great & all food was excellent, ready on time and by far one of the best authentic indian/pakistani business’ in Nottingham. Would highly recommend, particularly if you like mixed grills!

Food was perfect. Delivery driver unfortunately tipped the bag sideways and spilt all the source into the carrier bag that was supposed to be in the tray of meats. Should just maybe try and take more care of what they are handling and keep food up right when delivering

Food was awesome, delivery was a little late but it was a Friday night so it’s understandable.

Very small portions for the price £12 for a curry and rice with 5 small bits of chicken is taking the mickey

The food lacked taste, it wasn't a proper curry. The naan wasn't garlic naan again it had no taste no salt and it was too thick, the chicken tikka rice was ok but I could make it better at home very disappointed. And it came 20mimutes late.

First time order was very good except the portion size wasn’t as good. Second time, after informing them of my issue, 10/10 everything was perfect. If I was to pick a fault (there aren’t any) but I could ask for a quicker delivery time(but the food quality definitely makes up for it! Will be ordering again very soon!

Had Two Biryanis and both were extremely hot! Usually Biryani isn’t too hot? Afraid we have both had upset stomachs since eating them.
